Ukukukuku! I am terrible. :>

Today my mom, brother, and I went to Sam's to find another Wii controller ( SSB. Brawl FTW! ). Before we left, I bought a pretzel~ :'DD - but the lady gave us twooo. We took them both! AHAHAH. >>;;
I ordered one, and when the lady put two on the counter, I asked around, and no one claimed them. I ordered the pretzel, so I took one, went back to my mom, yadayada, and she told me to just take the other one, so I did. XD;;;

Anyone else here eeeeevil? >DDD

>>;;;;;

CLAMP 03-20-2008 11:08 PM

Don't worry Ten, I am sure that has happened to all of us at one point.

It has happened to me 3 times as well, 2 of those being at a McDonald's.

anti-hearted 03-20-2008 11:08 PM

thats pretty epic, your MOTHER told you to take it? wow... thats pretty funny. xDD

tentenpuff 03-20-2008 11:14 PM

@ Clammi:
OO: Did you take the hyphens out of your name?

Eheheh. I feel so evil, though. xDD

@ anti-hearted:
xD
Well, we shouldn't have left it sitting there!
It would've been a lonely pretzel. :<

Clorissa 03-20-2008 11:14 PM

Pretty funny that mum told you to take it xD

yum, Pretzels!

Sinspiration 03-20-2008 11:17 PM

Thats a dishonest thing to do! 2+ Renegade points for you, little missus!

(Note: Only people who play Mass Effect will actually understand that concept)

But anyway you shouldn't have done that. My personal opinion based on personal morals. :?

Amiiu 03-20-2008 11:19 PM

I don't like pretzels.... P:
But that's probably happen to me before, I just can't remember.
Although one time, my friend was buying something and it was 75 cents and she held out a dollar, but the lady gave her the change but didn't take the dollar.

Steve the Garden Hose 03-20-2008 11:22 PM

When I was in McDonalds when I was like 5 with my Aunt/Uncle, someone dropped a $20 bill on the floor, and my aunt told me to go over and put my foot on it and drag it over to the table so I could keep it.
Man... I feel bad about that even though It wasn't my fault..
And I think the guy knew I was taking it becuase the cashier said something to him and I remember him saying "It's alright" or something.

Vickicat 03-20-2008 11:32 PM

Pretzels.

LOL, that was bad, but kinda funny. But really, you have to wonder why the person who ordered it didn't claim it. It's kind of their fault.

Lapin Blanche 03-20-2008 11:36 PM

The people at Tim Hortons do that all the time. THe person at the cashier gives you the donuts and then you wait for your coffee/drinks. When you get your drinks, the girl who is usually getting your drinks ready hands you more donuts. That happened to me yesterday, we just took it because I didn't know my boyfriend had already gotten donuts, then he put the bag infront of me. I didn't ell bad though, they would've just thrown the extra things they gave us out because they touched them anyway.

mewmew07 03-21-2008 12:18 AM

That's cool that your mom said to just take it.

But that's not so evil, since it's only a pretzel and only costs like a dollar.

Han'iurami 03-21-2008 12:21 AM

That's understandable but if it was a costier item then I would feel like I was stealing or something but since it was a pretzel and would have been lonely, good job on snatching it ^^

YOUR EVILNESS IS HIGH STANDARD.

Anyways, I once killed a baby. :]

Sometimes Kleptomania attacks and I shoplift.
Small things though and only from big corporations who can afford it like walmart

Bombshell 03-21-2008 01:49 AM

Hey if no one claimed it...

Better to let someone take it than toss it in the garbage. Just this past week I was at KFC and one of the workers behind the counter came up to those of us waiting going "Three Sandwich Snackers!" or whatever those are. She called for whoever that was four or five times, waiting a bit then turned to her manager and went "they've gone I guess, what do I do with these?" The manager said "toss them" and in the garbage they went.

I thought that was such a waste. They were to go so no one but the server touched them, they would be fine to give to the next customer who ordered them, or heck just give one each to the three of us standing there waiting on orders.

I was at Tim Horton's and order a small coffee. One girl got me one, then the cashier got me one. I jokingly asked if I could take it for free and they said I could since it would just get thrown away anyways. So I took it. It was good.

So feel no guilt for the pretzel! The worker would probably have had to toss it and then it would have simply been wasted. Better that someone eats it, regardless of it was paid for. Least it isn't completely wasted!

One time my boyfriend and I went to Petco to get new litterboxes for our cats. We bought two, one big one that was more expensive, and a smaller one that was a bit cheaper. Well.. the cashier rang up the smaller one twice cus she thought they were the same. *3* But we didn't say anything...

:: feels evil ::

What a waste Sad...

Hokuto 03-21-2008 04:17 AM

Well if no one was claiming it or anything, why not? I know when a situation like that is in my hands I take the whatever freebie. Of course, only if it's a food item. Otherwise it's just a waste. But if someone like... leaves an object or something, I won't take it. Anyways, I don't really think that's evil. It's like... common sense in my opinion.

juniper_silver 03-21-2008 06:23 AM

I can never take stuff like that. I always feel really guilty, even if there's no reason to. I've had really honest people return things to me though...so I don't want to wreck my good karma >.<. I've had multiple people return huge amounts of cash ($80 and then $150ish) plus someone turned in a paycheck I lost once. I try to be just as honest as those people.

Monochrome_Rainbow 03-21-2008 11:30 AM

If it's something big like a camera somebody's dropped or something (yes, that has happened before) I'll hand it in, because I know what it's like to lose those kind of things through experience.

If it's something really small like £1 or something, then I'll take it and won't feel bad. Somebody else would only pick it up and walk off with it, so if I see it I might as well help myself. n 3n

Sagitar 03-21-2008 11:35 AM

neh, I never do such things O.o

my fiance is lucky though, he always gets wayy too much money in exchange >.< I wouldn't refuse extra money because I really really need it...

and yeah, if someone drops a camera or a cell phone I take it to a place where I know the person can come ask for it later.

`Kitami 03-21-2008 12:09 PM

One time, I was at Wal-Mart and I was buying a Starbucks frappuchino (the cold ones in the bottles). But I felt like crap, so I just went to the Self-Checkout. The drink was supposed to be like a dollar-eighty, and when it gave me my change, I was like "Dude, this seems like a lot..."
When I got to the car, I figured out that it had only charged me like twenty cents for it. xD I guess you could consider it stealing, but who cares. Its walmart, they can afford it. Besides, it was their own fault. Its not like I did it on purpose.

I'd never steal anything big or take something that didn't belong to me though. (Except that dollar I found at Kohl's...)

I do know someone who got a "free" XBox 360 though. They bought one and when they got it, there was two in the box! I have a feeling that someone got fired over that little mishap. x_x

Dihydrogen Monoxide 03-21-2008 12:26 PM

Hm.
I can't remember doing anything really bad, stealing-wise.
Does downloading music count? XD

Oh.
They gave me 4 extra cartons of fries at McDonalds.
And the wrong sandwich.
After I had waited an hour.
So I kept them. XD
And the whole time the cashiers had been making rude comments about me and my younger sister (she was 10 at the time) to other people who were ordering, such as "little brats don't know how to order", and "they shouldn't be allowed into a restaurant".
