Okay, well, here's the deal guys.
I was looking back at Blond's thread, and I noticed something with a colored theme. Uhh... don't particularly like that idea, gonna boot it to the street. In its place will be not just a colored theme, but an overall theme. I was thinking something along "Night Sky". In our posts, we could use star markers for lists we use, and our text color could look similar to this. So with the yellow star markers, and said text, we'd have an awesome thing going! Second discussable topic is having to do with your threads. Start putting them together! Open up notepad or any old thing that you can record BBC Code and whatnot on. Get your posts fine, ready, and dandy. Please, I urge you not to procrastinate on this. I assure you, the sooner it's done, the less weight will be on all of our shoulders. I'll most likely remind you all to get this done. Kind of a weird GH thing. He'll bug you 'till it's done! Third topic: the other event. As you know, I've been making hints at another event. This event... it's called the "Golden Sporks"! ZUH?!1!11 ...let me clarify. It's basically like the Oscars. We need someone to run this event that isn't running something already. This person will be deciding everything surrounding this event. For any stragglers who want to volunteer, this is what you'll need to do. Assign FIVE categories. (ex: Coolest Staff Member, etc.) Then, figure out the nominees. YOU, the volunteer, get to nominate for each category as you see fit. Only four nominees per category please! If you're interested, send me a message saying so. First come, first serve! You'll have a killer time! And our fourth and final topic... banners. D: Banners are quite difficult to find. We need an awesome banner maker with some sexy banner making skills. If you find one, let me know ASAP! If there's anything else you'd like to address, go ahead and post it here. That about sums it up! Any questions? I'll be happy to answer them! |

End it? GH there isn't anything to be ended, I simply told you so you could later put down what she is really going to do since she didn't say it, I did. Once again I was trying to HELP you, and instead I get accused of something AGAIN. Thank you so much. I will remember this, and I will not offer to help anyone do something like this in the future. About the colors, I don't really care either way. Both ideas sound nice to me.
BBC code? Are the volunteers making the threads too? I don't mind doing it, but before I think that Blond just asked us to find lots of staff trivia and then she would decide which ones to use. Did you want to switch it to us making the thread also? I'm kind of confused about the BBC code thing though...what's that? :oops: I'm bad at computer stuff. And I agree with Kitami, please don't fight guys. |
Actually, it's quite an easy significance! Just have to look at it in another perspective. If you think about it, banners are much easier made with some kind of a theme; stars are a nice eye catcher. Said colors are just that; colors. We need eye catching material. But if you can find a banner maker interested in making a couple of eye catching banners in that style, sure. We'll do it that way.

I don't want to quit, but I don't think that Blond was trying to make you look like the bad guy. You two are just stressed out.
I'll pm fiarra and ask her if she's interested in hosting the event with me. I guess whether I do it or not will depend on whether she wants to. Oh, ok I see. You're right that's easy. I didn't know what that stuff at the top of the posts was called. |
Look, Blond is more my friend than you are since I don't even know you. But that's not the point. I don't think she's trying to make you look like the bad guy. From what I can see, she's just telling you something to clear it up and YOU are jumping at HER. I just think that since she got people to volunteer, got us started on tasks, and started getting stuff really going, you should give her a bit more respect than you seem to be giving her. :?
But anyway. I'm not finding the banner maker, because that's not what I volunteered for. But since I used to be a banner maker, I can tell you that I myself would be much more likely to make a banner with eye-popping colors like the ones that were chosen in Blond's poll than one dark color and stars. And as I was saying, the theme of those colors is that they are staff colors, which is more significant to Staff Appreciation Day. :3 |
