"Noooo!" She whined, falling against Reno's chest. "I don't want to go bacccckkk!"
She clung to Reno now for dear life. She didn't want to leave, and run back off to Tseng and Rude, and everything else that wasn't perfect.
"Let's run away!"

((Nothing, nothing at all happened XDDDDD Reno slept on the couch like a gentleman.))

"WAH!!" Reno was attacked from behind and he allowed himself a small chuckle.
"I know, I know, but orders are orders...Rufus should be getting back any day now, and I have to start behaving...more's the pity." He looked down at her with a cocked eyebrow.
"You're...kidding...right?"

(I'm hoping that isn't sarcastic, because he was meant to sleep on the couch. XD)

"No I am certainly not!" She snapped.
"Why would I joke about that!? I don't wanna go back to eating cardboard!" Now that was a huge downside.
"And I like my bed.. And I like waking up and being able to take a shower.. And I like waking up to you snoring on my couch, I do!"
That had to be the silliest speech ever.

((Nope, no sarcasam....well, maybe a little on the gentelman part XDD But that's it I SWEAR!! XDDD))

Reno sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Well......This is a pickle isn't it?"

Ten minutes later....

"Relax will you Danae!!! I cant go down the stairs holding your clothes, AND YOU!" He gripped the rail with a white kuckled hand, and Danae's legs with the other, somehow, the image of her being thrown over his shoulder had been, at least to him, so much more appealing than this.

(NOW WHAT!? Are they running away? XD)

"Hey!" She cried, clinging to him literally for dear life. "It really isn't my fault you have puny upper body strength!"
Now that wasn't nice.
But hey! He was the one going down the stairs, not her!
So if he just so happened to fall, hopefully, Danae would end up on top.

((No...he's taking her back..wether she wants to go or not. XDDD))

Reno looked back and stopped on a stair just long enough to give her one good smack on her bottom.
"Be nice up there." He warned good-naturedly.
"Or I might drop you, I'd hate to have to explain to Teseng how you ended up with a broken leg."

(It's not my fault you don't explain! XD)

"I hate you, Reno!" She snarled, crossing her arms.
His bright idea to carry her..
"You try to drop me, and I take you don't with me!" And that was for sure! Especially with the way she was gripping him. She had him in a death lock of sorts.
She was, needless to say, angry.

((XDD I know I know, My fault I'm sorry XDD))

He smiled.
"Awww, come now, you can't HATE me, not after all those 'I love you's." He made it to the bottom unscathed and headed outside.
"Now that we're on the ground level, I have no worries about dropping you, so you can forget your plans of vengance." He smiled, and then stopped to look back to the city.
"Besides....what would we have done if we ran away? I can't protect you alone...and those three are still out there..." He looked over his shoulder at her.
"Can you at least forgive me, if only for that reason?"

(*stabs*)

Danae yelped. She didn't even get to eat one final breakfast..
"I hate you!" She cried out, flopping over the top of him. He was a meanie!
Making her go back to hell!
"I mean, so what! We could just.. run.. " Run. Pffh, like Reno could even do that much. He'd be too busy trying to defend Danae or something.

((*bleeds*))

He just shrugged.
"Have it your way." He set off for the car whistling, paying her protests not a bit of attention.
"You'll just have to hate me then."

He opened her door and set her inside, buckling her in, and locking her door from the outside.
Then, he made his way to the driver's side and got in himself, he smiled and started the car.
"You know I could never run Love." He said backing up.
"It's not in my nature."

"Oh, that's right! You'd get shot before you could take the first step."
No breakfast even! She would have at least wanted some real food...
She was, in a way, hitting below the belt..
But she was so angry with him for making her do this.
She could kill him about now..
"So am I at least able to stay with you..?" She had better be!

He winced and gaped at her with puppy dog eyes.
"Oww..." He pouted.
He was going to have to make this up to her...somehow...maybe he'd run out later and pick up a few microwavable meals...at least then she wouldn't have to eat rations.
He shrugged.
"I guess, don't see why you wouldn't."

"Good!" She snapped.
"Cause it's my bed now! And if you don't like it, I sleep with Rude."
Pffh, Rude. Rude would about fall out of his bed if he saw Danae. Either that or he'd throw her out.
She of course, would surely regret all of this later.. She definitely would.
She loved him, but hated what he was doing..
Yeah, it worked.

Reno's lip jutted out.
"Well then...looks like me and Rude are bunking together...seeing as how it's your bed now.." He hunkerd over the steering wheel and sighed.
"Ahh....just like old times in training....only without the five a.m wake up call."

She growled.
Staring out the window, she watched the scenery go by.
She hated this.. She hated being forced to stay with Reno in some factory basically. That was all it was to her.. Some big, fat prison!
"Reno.. How long is this gonna last..?" She asked him on a more serious note.

He sighed and looked out over the traffic ahead of them.
"I have no idea....I suppose until we find out what the bothersome three want....until then...we can't let them take you..." He glanced over.
"Is there anything that you can give us that might help us to understand? I'm sure that they've talked to you while you were with them, and it's not some random abuction if they go after you each and every time."

"They want mother," she said. "They said something about Sephiroth needing to talk to me about his mother.. Whoever the hell that is."
Danae was probably a bit too clueless for her own good.
"I just wanna go home, and be able to stay there!"
Though, so far, they hadn't shown their faces in days.. That was a monumental occasion.

Reno cocked his eyebrow.
"Mother huh? What's JENOVA got to do with you?" He sighed and pulled the car over to a curb.
"I know....I know Danae..." His gaze fell to the seat between them.
"But...for now will you bear with this? At least untill I'm sure that I can keep you safe?"

Danae sighed, and nodded sort of.
"But Renoooo," she whined. The one thing she was only just realizing however, was how could the two of them possibly stay 'together', once she left.
The thought hadn't crossed her mind.. And now that it had, she didn't like it.
"Reno.. What are we going to do when this is over...?"

He smiled and cupped her chin, smiling seriously.
"I'll figure something out." He kissed her breifly, leaning over his seatbelt to do it, and then pulled back out into traffic.
"Let's just worry about one thing at a time, alright?"

She pouted. She was sad now..
Reaching her left hand over, Danae took one of Reno's hand. She just.. She was having a perfectly good dream. And Sephiroth came along to ruin it... And now.. Well, she was going to lose Reno no matter what she did.. Wasn't she...?

Reno pulled into the garage about dusk...so what if he'd taken the senic route? He wanted as much 'alone' time with Danae before...
"RENO!!!" Here it came, Rude dashed out from the inner building and grabbed Reno up by his smiling collar and glared.
"Why. did. you. take. my. CAR!?" He growled...if there was one thing Rude got angry about...it was his babies.
"Had to." Reno smiled.
"Couldn't take Danae out on a date without it, and I didn't want to take the stationwagon mom."

((Gomen, last one))

Danae only sighed, and got out of the car slowly. "And I get no greeting, Rude?" She asked, crossing her arms, and looking to the floor. Hell! For all of the worrying she'd done over him, he outta buy her a car!
"And even after I guilt tripped Reno and everything!"

Rude growled and dropped Reno.
"Oh you'll get a greeting midget." He waggled a finger at the two of them.
"And then neither of you are going out without a chauffer!" Reno pouted.
"That's totally not fair MOM! How can me and Danae get smoochy with you right there?!"
"WHAT!? There shouldn't be ANY 'smoochy' between you two!!!"

(*stabs*)

Danae growled.
"Oh yeah?" She asked, crossing her arms. Now, Rude was just being mean.
"And hat would you do if we DID get smoochey?" She sneered.
"Who knows what we did for those three days. We could have had sex!"
Rude's reaction to this one surely, would be a special one. He would probably go crazy, and then go tell Tseng something that simply wasn't true, and make a fool of himself. Yes.
