I am new :)
 
I am new well I signed up a long time ago and jsut now decided to give it a real try.

anyone have any hints on how to get some items to start up with?

Well I got them from the event when I popped on to see if anythign was going on.
they were kinda fun to earn. but I wish I could have had more time to earn the other pieces from the set.

Just post around the forums and you'll have gold to buy clothes quicker than you'd expect.
Fishing can also help, but you have to invest quite a bit of gold into it in the beginning.

and i have tried the fishing and well now have no gold and nothing to show for it lol

are we allowed ot add code to our posts like color and such to earn more gold?

You're welcome.

You don't start to earn a profit from fishing until you reach between 300 and 400 exp.
After that, you get a steady income from it.
There is a little guide sticky in the Community Discussion forum that explains how the game works.

You can add color and some formatting.
You can't use gradients or more than one post though.
The rules are explained at the top of this forum.
