I just pretend its a body suit that like ninjas or robbers would wear to make em more flexible -ninja- xDD Its fine whatever you choose to do. Yep. I do this cool photomanipulation thing with my pastels that I had submitted in several art shows. I honestly dont know if Ive won a prize honestly though cause it was my art teacher who submitted it and she has a knack of keeping not only the awards but our works too .__. My friend Marcia had to literally sneak in and steal our own stuff, in order to get our work back. Of course she also grabbed those amazingly awesome shading things the teacher had which Im going to need some more of soon. I just think pastels are fun to work with it as long as you dont get it all over the place. And yeah, I actually think my art is rather similar to yours in the big head dept xD Except the arms are shorter and the legs are longer. And I tend to make the girls have big boobies just cause I like drawing em curvy xD Heyas Anti! |

I think our teacher is trying to claim the stuff as her own O.o
I remember one of the most unique drawers in our school took her class and the teacher was always dissing her work because it wasnt how she had shown us to draw. Thats sorta when my class sstarted to rebel. One of my classmates swore she does pot and is still trying to catch the teacher in the act. No No, Not just like you. Im saying Mine have big heads too but I always loved them. Mine are big because of the skeleton I start out with each for character. Normally I draw a circle for the head, then a line shows where the nose is and how its curved. From there I finish the shape of the head and start the collar bones to show how the person is facing before doing the shoulders and such. Basic stuff. |
Report her. XD Or make her parents report her for art theft or violation of free licenses or something. *u*
... XD Uhhh. I just draw the eyes and work my way outwards towards the ends of the paper. Occasionally I draw circles for the palms of the hands and I draw an oval for the waist and sticks to represent the legs. I'm still practicing on drawing the legs and hands without presketching. XD Eh. |

Good morning! XD But I love my art teacher from middleschool. *huggles her*
She pointed out that I colored too softly. Now I think I finally understand what she means... I simply did not even notice how light my coloring was. XD When my self-portrait was chosen for 1st place art award and hung up temporarily in a kids' museum(or whatever it was) and a professional critiquer came to critique my art... For the most part, she talked about how much bolder I could've gone with the colors... XD I really loved her hair! Also, my friend Anly's chibis really pushed me forward to color more boldly... XD |
Yeah I always used to colour way to light too! It happens when you start wiht a white base I think..
I love my school teachers too XD They didn't teach me much but they were really nice and encourages me to do pretty much whatever I liked XD I miss my anatomy teacher.. he was a genius.. T.T Yay for prizes! |
Ah, but my base wasn't white. It was brown... XD LOL. My teacher taught me how to color noses. *u* I mean, we didn't use realistic colors, but we used warm colors like red and cool colors like blue to show the shape of our face or something.. XD I dunno, but I just the parts where the light hit warmer, and the shadows cooler. *u*

All advanced. XD But I need to take er.. something something type of elective and somethingseomthing type of elective to be able to graduate. After I get those done, I can take art classes without stress that I might not graduate. XD My academic scores are great if that's what you were wondering. (But not 4.0 cuz I'm not that smart OTL)

Yes it DOES seem silly. XD They care more about what you do in your free time(like hobbies) than your academic grades. But if you get a low proficiency in academics, then they won't let you do sports/etc.. Colleges look out for people who are dedicated to after-school activities. :| And I can take any class I want, but I just need to take the classes that are required for me to graduate... XD Edit: And I'm a freshman in highschool. :| ... XD I wish I could do better, but I'm so lazy. My body won't allow me to think ahead of time so I end up doing projects on the day before it's due. OTL |

Here activites and things are completely unconnected to grades.. we don't have grades.. You pick your subjects and take a state exam at the end.. You graduate before you get your results. f freshman in high school.. = um... 16? |

Ooh What country are you from then David?
Im a senior this year ;DD So i get to take most classes that I want to now that my foreign languege and science are out of the way. Im still required to take Civics, economics and math though DD: And unfortunately the classes I chose are going to be hard .__. Cause Im an idiot and like AP classes and colleges like it when you dont relax your senior year.. I gave up trying to draw legs without a skeleton.Without it I make the legs too short. |
Freshman= 13-15.
In the US we have certain classes we have to take. Like english, health, history, etc. And then classes we have to take electives like physcology, art, or more english, history, sciences. These types of classes will go for the elective slots but if you get to many of them and don't take a class you have to take because of it you can't graduate. For example in Emily's final year she takes sewing instead of Earth science. If she has not taken all of her science classes then she could not graduate. It is really confusing and your way sounds a lot better then our way. |
