It's from a movie called the Last Mimzy - basically, it's a highly interactive stuffed bunny.

I think it'd be a great name for a nasty swarm of something. Giving swarms of nasty things nice names and make them sound so much less threating.

Have you ever noticed that flying, stinging insects mostly have one syllable? Fly, gnat, bee, wasp... Then there are mosquitoes, yellow jackets, etc.
