Best and Worst Birthday you can remember

I remember the best and also the worst I had
The best was when I was 10 and my aunt decided to take ma and my cousin to the amusement park, I had never gone before and I was so excited I wasn't scared at all and I went on every ride my height allowed =D
I remember I had the greatest time !!! I dont know but it was such a great idea! I was poor at those times and for me it was like the best present ever!
Then I remember when I was 20 I had a birthday with all my chat friends =D yeah!!! well at least the ones living in my state!! and I was so happy it was like 25 people hehe we went to have dinner altogether and then we went to dance =) It was so awesome!!!! I have some pics somewhere I will upload if I can find them. I felt like so loved I loved it ! <3
As for the worst ....wellI remember being 19 and not wanting to blow the candles because I was mad at my father, I was all alone and didnt have the will to celebrate, my mom holding the cake in her hands and the athmosphere was horrible and said something like "no I wont blow up the candles no way" and she went out the room crying ...I felt really bad after that but I think my father needed to feel worst because he caused that....idk it was a black bday I will never forget..

So how about you? have you had a brilliant bday or a dark one you will never forget? tell us about it!

Rainy 04-16-2008 03:00 AM

A good bday was when I was small, probably when all my friends weren't really friends, just companions you played with. We didn't care what was at the party, we just played like normal, treated the bday person specially and wanted goody bags =3
A bad birthday was when I didn't get a birthday at all..which is quite often now =(

Embella 06-08-2008 03:51 AM

Best birthday when I was little and my mum built me a ginger bread house lol. Worst the last frew because people forget haha

RainbowSuicide 06-08-2008 07:09 AM

well I don't really remember that far into my past but all the birthdays I can remeber sucked like my last one I sat in my hous all alone and waited for the cable guy who was 5 hrs later DX

Clair Voyant 06-08-2008 11:27 AM

I can't really remember a brillant birthday... none of mine have been the greatest. There have been a few very nice ones, but nothing brillant. Alot of people forget about my birthday. My friends always have to be reminded, even though I remember all of theirs. The only people who remember are my mother and sometimes, my father. None of my reletives ever remember... or care. I usually get theirs b-day cards (if they do remember) in July... 7 months after my birthday.

I don't really enjoy my birthday that much, but, the worst birthday I can think of was the birthday right after my parents divourced. I was very lonely that year. It was not a good 8th birthday for me.

(and no, not being emo, I'm just telling the truth)

Spiffy Oranges 06-08-2008 12:50 PM

The best one wasn't that great, but it was nice.
My cousin came over and we watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show. My parents were uber poor, so they got me some glow in the dark tatoos, which I thought were the shizz. It was just simple and close. My parents actually got along that day.
The worst one was when I was seven (or was it six?) and my granparents came over. Gramma had ovarian cancer and was already sick enough, but to make matters worse she fell down and broke her arm at our (I have a twin brother) party.:gonk:

All of my birthdays have kinda been so-so I think... none of them really stand out at all. Last years was supposed to be really fun because I was supposed to go to the Virginia Zoo and I looked forward to it allll year, but then no one wanted to take me because it was hot. I think I ended up going to see a movie with my mom and Golden Corral for dinner but I was so pissed off by the end of the day at dinner because I realized none of my friends actually remembered it was my birthday. I don't know if that was my worst or not because I can't remember any of the others but it's probably pretty close.

I don't have a best yet but maybe I can make that this years. :)

I think all my birthdays aren't bad but they're not awesome. My best birthday was problalby when I was 5. On my 5th birthday I was in CA with my grandparents, uncle, brother, aunt, and my counsin. So, for my birthday my grandmother cooked a huge meal and we went to Toys R'US so I could pick out a present.

I can't think of a bad birthday.

The Lady Who Knew 06-08-2008 04:25 PM

I don't really have a best birthday, all of them were exactly the same until I was thirteen, invite a few friends over, have cake and ice cream in the living room. When I was thirteen my parents tried to combine my sisters birthday with mine, and no one came, not even grandma. Haven't celebrated since, for my sweet sixteen I went to dinner with my mom, sister, and my sister's best friend at the time. This last birthday was the worst though, my father came to get me and I was late coming down because my teacher wanted to congratulate me, when I came down he yelled at me in front of the entire school, and then dropped me off at home, tore out of the driveway, and yelled 'HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY!' while driving away..yeah, certainly the worst I've ever had.

AyaKuagari 06-08-2008 04:28 PM

definitely my best birthday was when my dad was celebrating it with me. for the first 10 years of my life i believed my brothers dad was my dad, when my mom told me he wasn't, at the time i was upset because i liked him but now i just don't care about him at all. when i was 11, my real dad stepped in, since i'd never seen him before i was so happy, so that birthday that year was the best. i had only seen him a few times so i barely knew him, then a year later after he came in, he left. that really upset me and made me really depressed, and i never really got over it... i haven't heard from or seen him since that day. i still get sad thinking about it now and i'm 20. so really, from that point on, all my birthdays have been pretty bad because every year i wished for my father to return, and i never got it.

puppylove#1 06-08-2008 07:16 PM

My best birthday was...when all my friends came over for a sleep over and the

person that went to sleep first had something put on their face (I forgot what) and I

think that was my 11th birthday.

My worst birthday was last year when no one remembered my b-day but my mom

and she got me a cake and she wanted to sing happy birthday but I wasn't in the

mood so we just ate the cake.

My best birthday wasn't even MY birthday! It was my sisters sweet sixteen. (The Lady Who Knew) We went with our closest friend, Allison, to Olive Garden and had a huge dinner and DAMN it was awesome!

My worst birthday was when I was having a combined party with my sister and I thought it was the worst time in my life. We invited all these people and no one came except this one girl we didn't even invite who went off saying all this crap and making fun of the fact no one came! I hated it. I went in my room and locked myself in and cried. I was about 12. It was miserably horrible. I didn't know if I could face any of those people again!

nike13 06-09-2008 07:34 AM

My worst and best are actually the same birthday, when I turned 22. It was my best because that was the first birthday I could spend on a romantic dinner out with my now fiance. He picked me up, we were both dressed fancy, spent time talking about this that and the future, etc. I sort of feel that that was my first adult birthday since before that I was always going with the flow for the family party (though 21 was good, my mom took me to Vegas and bought me my first drink ^^). This one I got to spend with the man I love and want to spend the rest of my life with.

It was my worst because my grandmother felt the need to check to see if I was wearing appropriate (non-sexy/thong type) panties before my boyfriend of 5 years picked me up to take me out to dinner. Not only was I mortified because she decided flipping up my skirt in front of my family was an OK time to do so, I was just pissed that at 22, with a person I have been with for 5 years, she decided I wasn't adult enough to handle my own relationship. Still wish I WAS wearing a thong or going commando just to freak her out.

I hardly remember any of my birthdays. It seems like I have trouble remembering everything lately though, but anyway, I never really did much on my birthdays to begin with.

KeiKei Shunu 06-09-2008 10:54 AM

I don't remember most of my birthdays, but I remember once, I must have been 3 or 4, my mom made me a Dinosaur cake. :3 I loved it so much!

And, my 16th and 17th were celebrated with my boyfriend and chocolate mousse, so both were really good. XD

I don't think I've had a bad birthday. :3

Pixel 06-09-2008 11:22 AM

Mine were all great. :P

aphrodite remix 06-09-2008 02:39 PM

My best birthday was when I turned 16, my friends threw a party for me, and it was ridiculous. There were around 50 people at my friends place and nothing but crazy nonsense going on. It was so much fun and I'd never had a birthday part before, so it was really special.

My worst was when I turned 7 and it was 3 days after my great grandma died, I didn't get a cake my parents forgot etc... and then a few days later they were like O_O and I was pissy so I told them to forget it and didn't talk to them for a while, a good 3 months or so. I hold grudges for a long time.

tehrin 06-09-2008 03:02 PM

My best birthday was probably my 16th. I had a huge party, and a TON of people showed up. It was made of awesome. :) I got lots of neat/fun little presents too. I think there's STILL bits of streamers (10 year old streamers) stapled to the basement walls. XD;; The highlight of the night was when the cops came for one of my friends, who I didn't know had run away. She hid in my basement under some dirty laundry (eww).

Worst Birthday? My birthdays recently have been really dull. Especially the ones where I have to work. My last one, I worked for like 9 hours. ;_; The worst one I can remember was when I was 6. I got a panda bear lamp, and I really wanted a My Little Pony. I remember crying for hours over it. XD

monstahh` 06-09-2008 05:20 PM

My worst birthday was my 15th one. Not only was I violated in a sexual manner by someone I trusted and thought was my friend, but my boyfriend at the time spent most of my party playing Resident Evil 4 instead of paying attention to me.

My best one...Must have happened so long ago, I don't remember it. >:

Seth Akira 06-09-2008 06:01 PM

My best was when I was little and I didnt have to worry about life. Prolly when my aunt took me too Magic waters.

But my worst is every birthday, I don't look forward to my birthdays at all anymore. And it's 2months away ><!!

The reason for this is, 8th grade 15th birthday, my sister that I never see because shes my half sister. Had a fit about something but I dont know what. And my best friend and I (since second grade) got in a fight. And he left, and my sister left. And I spent the rest of the day crying my eyes out of my head.

9th grade, 16th birthday we were supposed to go to the movies to see pirates of the caribean 2 I think. My sister got there and bitched that she didnt want to go the the movies. And she left the first 5 minutes. And she lived 45mins away so she wasted a trip up here. And I was in tears after that too.

10th grade, I didnt even see my sister. (17th)

11th.....coming up. I'm scared. -_- (18th)

My birthday is on 8-8-8 BTW :P August 8th 2008, and i'm turning 18 XD

Caroline 06-10-2008 11:47 AM

The best birthday I've had was my fifteenth. One of my friends used to work at Ghirardelli on Cannery Row in Monterey so we went there with a couple of my best friends and we ordered an Earthquake, which is this HUGE ice cream sundae. We had every flavour of ice cream in it, every topping, and even some random things that weren't on the menu because she worked there. Yummiessss. :3 Afterwards we walked to the beach and just hung out there the rest of the day, playing around and taking photos for our photography class. Wonderful day.

The worst birthday... seventeenth. I was woken up to be bitched at. No one said happy birthday to me. I didn't get shit. Hopefully my eighteenth will be better.

amyrex2 06-11-2008 03:09 PM

best...bahh this year has good potential as I will be at origins, but the worst was the year I got the chicken pox, and the only person I could invite was the girl that gave it to me.

Not fun at all.

jupiter 06-11-2008 06:05 PM

Sounds like a terrible birthday. I had one once, when I was much younger, where a few girls were constantly trying to steal the spotlight. I wasn't spoiled, and I don't mind attention going around, but any time a present was opened or someone else wanted to share something or play a game, they'd run off in a corner to gossip and make others feel bad.

My birthdays were always around the American Thanksgiving holiday, so no one was around. Usually I'd just have family participate, which is a cake or some ice cream, a present or two, and some dinner before. I got a laptop this last one, because I turned 18. That was probably the best one.

RainbowSuicide 06-11-2008 07:41 PM

@Pixel- well aren't you a lucky duck

Strude 06-11-2008 09:39 PM

17th birthday was the worst. I had just broken up with my ex, dropped out of 3 classes in school, learned my ex left me and went after my closest friend; who in turn ended up in my bad books and we didn't talk or see each other for a whole year. And yeah mostly school and relationships fucked that up, since I lost a lot of friends due to the breakup.

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER WAS MY 18th! Simply because I did have a party, there was no drinking, I only went out to dinner with my immediate family. What made is so special was in less than 2 months I was leaving for Africa. My birthday present from my parents was a missions trip to Zambia Africa, totally over $6,000. So I didn't care about anything besides that, which made it the best year ever!
