Do Americans have...?
I live inIreland(YAY Ireland :]) and I'm just curious, seeing as the US is so big and all...and the UK likes to follow them in wars and obesity levels...and I'm aware that most users on here are American...
So do you have... Subway? Pringles? Thortons chocolate? Cadbury's chocolate? Doritos? Pizza hut? BBC? Skins? (TV show) And do you like Simon Cowell? |
I don't know the two chocolates that you listed, skins or BBC, but maybe they're not that famous but are still in the US? Everything else, we do have :) They're really popular too.

Lol most Americans have some Irish blood! I think Simon's good, he does Britain's got Talent, and The X Factor, but when American Idol's shown here, he seems to be just downright horrible! He said a man looked like a monkey, and a woman looked like a giraffe! He wouldn't get away with that here! LOL |
we do have subway. also pringles. I don't know about those two chocolates but probably, if they're the milk chocolate sort that americans love. we definitely have doritos and pizza hut, I ate there last week. ^.^ I've watched BBC, its not on our basic cable but it is on satellite. I've never seen Skins... but I only have cable so.. I dunno. uhh.. I don't particularly like Simon Cowell. I'm like 3/4 Irish. Go Ireland!! XD |
We have subways not really where I live as much but in big citys they do. I live in the country. ::pokes the cow:: I love Pringles!!! My favorite ones are the plain ones. My daughter likes the cheese ones best and my husband likes the BBQ ones best. We do not have a Thorntons chocolate that I know about anyways. But we have lots of other chocolate shops that are really yummy. Umm I think it is the same as the Cadbury's chocolate but those Cadbury eggs from easter and stuff. They say Cadbury really small on them anyways too lol. I do not care for them but yes we have them lol. Doritos are my daughters favorite food in the world. But she calls them FIRE CHIPS lol cause there is a flame on the front. It took us a while to figure out what fire chips where. She could bearly talk and I bought all kinds with flowers and flames on them trying to figure it out. She loves the red fire and the blue fire chips.. cheese or cool ranch lol. I love Pizza Hut my dad used to eat there once a week on Fridays or Saturdays. He says it is the perfect food.. it can not be bad for you because it has all of the food groups on it at once lol. I like his thinking. I am not sure what a BBC is but I do not think we have it. We might and I might just not know. But I have not heard of it. We do not have a Skins either but lots of other shows to make up for it. My favorites are Lost, Prison Break, Survivor and Nip/Tuck. I do not like Simon Cowell lol I can not help it but I just do not like him and how he acts. |

Since no one seems to be sure, yes; we get BBC. I watch it frequently.
Though what we get is BBCA. (The A is for America). We get the same programs, but our news is different I think (still recorded in Britain. I honestly don't know how or if it's different, since I've never seen it in the UK) And we obviously get shows on at different times, since there's the time zone difference. |

Subway? I love subway. There is a subway every two blocks.
Pringles? Pringles are sold in every store. Thortons chocolate? No, we do have ghiradelli though. Cadbury's chocolate? Same as above. Doritos? This is also sold everywhere. Pizza hut? Yes, as again, every two blocks- nearly. BBC? Online. Not on television. Skins? (TV show) I don't know what that is so no. And do you like Simon Cowell? I have nothing against him. He is unique. But I'm not a American Idol fan either. |

We have most of what you listed. XD We have Subway, Pringles... OMG I love Pringles. XD I don't think we have Thorton's chocolate as I don't think I've ever heard of it but I could be wrong. We have Cadbury's chocolate. We have Doritos... I loooove Doritos. XD We have Pizza Hut. I think we get the BBC over here. I don't think we have the Skins TV show. I haven't heard of it. But I don't watch TV much anyhow so I wouldn't necessarily know. XD

All I'm willing to say on the matter so far is this: Code Geass. Really, I think we have everything on that list except Thorton's Chocolate and Skins...those are the only things you listed that I've never heard of. |
