Cute! I have two myself, a 6 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. Ella likes to chew on things. We have small bits of wood missing from the legs of some of our furniture. I'm sure I'll find that funny in a few years, right now I'm torn over weather to worry about her ingesting splinters or to lament the loss of our once halfway decent coffee table. Jacob has always been a riot. The funniest thing I can think of was when he was little he would fart and say quite proudly 'I have a froggy butt!'. He thought that his butt was croaking like frogs...We would roll when he said that without fail.

no kids ><
a 17 year old boy probably doesnt have any buisness havin kids in the first place. But If I ever do have Kids; if I have a girl it'll either be Roxy or Rhiannon, and if it's a boy...well, I think of different names all the time for a boy. I usually forget. Probably name him after a greek mythological creature or god.

MrsGrape 04-22-2008 03:49 AM

I don't have any kids - yet! I would like to have one child, within the next 5 years. I would like to have a girl, but if I have a boy I will be happy just the same!

Don't mention that movie! Evil children in movies freak me out! Lol.

Blondheart 04-22-2008 08:40 AM

We wanted children, but sadly it didn't happen. You are very lucky to have a little one!

I have a five and a half year old daughter - she's the most adorable thing ever, in my opinion! Of course, I am heavily biased. One thing she loves doing is pretending to be a door. She'll stand in a doorway and block my path, and I have to work out how to open said door - whether it's a 'tweak-nose' door, or a 'poke-tummy' door... and if I get it wrong, she does all sorts of odd stuff until I find the right opening mechanism!

I would like to have another child one day, perhaps a boy, but as I am a single mother also studying at uni, I think I will wait until I have finished that, had enough experience in my field to start up my own PR company, and actually get married first. I'm only 28, so I still have heaps of time ahead of me for that.

I'm only 15 and in 9th grade and there are already two girls at my school that are pregnant :o

One girl will be having hers next month :>
All the girls are all around her lately asking question. Though I feel sorry for her poor swollen feet D:

And the other, I don't really know if she is pregnant or if she is just gaining weight :c

Cherish 04-22-2008 09:09 AM

No children yet, but my husband and I are planning on trying for our first baby later this year (we're moving house soon, and I REALLY don't want to go through all the stress of moving while I'm pregnant).

We're so excited about it already!

There was a girl like that when I was in school.
She told her friends she was pregnant and showed them her slightly swollen tummy, then the rumour sort of spread to pretty much everyone.
She kept it up for a couple of months, and the teachers were getting involved and trying to sort out a doctor for her and everything.
Then one day she apparantly went into early labour in the girls' bathroom, and no one was allowed to talk about it any more after that.

Turns out, she was just constipated, and the "early labour" was a really big poo. :?

My aunt was told that she couldn't have children, and at 30 she actually got pregnant and had a beautiful daughter. Don't give up, sometimes mother nature kicks science to the side and gets things done her way!

I have two kids, a girl and a boy. My daughter is 16 and will probably be getting her license over the summer (yikes!) and my son is 10. I don't really have any funny or tragic stories about them, they are both just kids. My daughter is going into allied health career tech in school next year and I'm extremely happy that she has some direction in life, now if she would just find a boyfriend who has some direction in his life instead of these losers she keeps dating. Unfortunately for my son, he tends more toward the "geeky" side which means he doesn't have a lot of friends but, he wants to learn to play guitar so, maybe by middle school he will snap out of it.

I don't have kids yet, and thank god because I'm far too young and wouldn't have the slightest clue how to be a mother xDD
One of my old friends had a baby in November, and she's 17. I saw her in a store with a pram, had a chat with her and her baby is so cute, but I think she could've waited >.>;;

I have a daughter.

name Anastasia Noelle. Age 2.5 y.o.

They don't call them TERRIBLE TWO's for no reason. lol I mean every day is a battle.

I hope it ends exactly on her 3rd Bday.

cyanidecookie 04-23-2008 07:46 AM

I have a 2 and half month old. He adorable.... I think one of the funniest things he does is when he falls asleep on his playmat. It has all these plastic rings hanging off of it, and he'll grab one, and fall asleep holding it, with his arm or arms up in the air. Today he did that, but got his arm in the ring all the way up to his shoulder. Sometimes he falls asleep with his arms in the air anyway, it's pretty funny.

In my opinion, the only reason it's known as that is because the child starts learning that they have a choice and you get battles of will with them. I got around it for my own daughter by loading the deck... "you can brush your teeth BEFORE your bath, or you can do them AFTER your bath." That way she still did what I wanted her to, but she felt like she could have some say in the matter.

StellarWing 04-23-2008 10:12 AM

I don't have any kids, and I'm not entirely sure whether or not I ever want them. Maybe in a few years.

It doesn't end until they move out of your house, especially with girls. I love my kids to death and wouldn't give them up for anything but, they can really try your patients.

Beck 04-23-2008 02:12 PM

:] Nope, I'm still a youngin' so no children over here for me. Yet. =D I plan to have one one day, hopefully a male. xP

Maria-Minamino 04-23-2008 02:32 PM

I don't have kids - I'm only 18 and don't plan on kids for a while. But I want them someday. :D

MrsGrape 04-23-2008 04:15 PM

This whole topic makes me want kids even more than I already do - however, I know it logically cannot happen for a couple of years at least because I definitley do not make enough money just yet.

I'm not very good with children, really... I'd end up dragging the poor things around with me everywhere I go, and I rarely stay home.

I have a very busy career path ahead of me, and I don't think I could handle kids while on it. Maybe, after a few years of getting a strong hold in my position, I could have some, but that's not a priority for me at the moment.

Sterling 04-25-2008 10:42 PM

I love kids so much! I have none of my own, I want some and I'm in a stable relationship but I just want to wait a few more years.

I used to babysit all the kids in my neighborhood growing up, it was nice being the babysitter and not the mom, they seemed to listen a lot better. Thier parents told me they couldnt get them to sit still for the life of them, but when I watched them they were always so good.

I know its got things to do with the babysitter being like a friend not an adult and they dont feel the same deifiance towards the babysitter, and thats why like I said, I loved being the sitter and not the mommy! ><

The only one I ever had problems with was a boy who chased his little sister with a pair of scissors. O.o
