::flops briefly in the thread to display her new horsey friend for a few hours. might change to the phoenix tomorrow:: >_>
|
I have the birdie! *cheesey grin*
|
@CK: You could always wear both. 8D;
I'm sticking with my horse friend until I can figure out a red outfit. I have only three red items (that I recall) so it'd be trickier to match. XD |
@Blondheart - I laughed when we were talking about the Phoenix Mask the other day. XD Because I figured you'd sport the mask plus the phoenix spirit. X3
@Ferra - Nah... I don't much like the way they work together. XD Some people can make turquoise and red look good... but I don't think I have the right items in my wardrobe for it. XD It would also make me feel cluttered. @[email protected]; I'll probably switch off and on throughout the month. XD I don't have much in my wardrobe that matches either. XD But maybe the next store update will have some nice things to mix and match with. :3 |
I changed to the horsie!
|
@Blond: Right when I changed to the phoenix. XD I still need to figure out an outfit for both of these.
@CK: I wasn't very serious. XD You're definitely right, they are colors that are difficult to pull off together and having more than one makes you look cluttered. I do like that we can have both on at the same time if we want to though. ^^ |
I agree with Ferra, I like the option to wear both, but I doubt I ever will. I had them both on for the feeding frenzy...I mean the four sets I sold in the exchange...:sarcasm:
|
Good morning everyone
|
OH, why didn't I come here sooner! XD *subscribes*
Yeah, when I switched BC pills last year, I gained 20 lbs. It sucked because I'm already fat, so that didn't help any! T_T I'm back on the diet and exercise plan now that it's nice out again. I hate walking when it's 20 degrees outside and the wind is blowing so I gave up for the winter. :/ |
O.OI don't think I want to take my birth control pills now. I think I'd rather rip out my overies insted.
|
I think gaining a little weight is better than having an unwanted pregnancy. :D
Plus, it helps a lot with my cramps (which used to be so bad I had to curl up in bed all day. Now I don't even have to take painkillers.) and the length of my period. The pros outweigh the cons (for me) most definitely. :D |
That is true. *goes off to do interweb search on brand on contraeptive pill I have*
|
Yeah, I did a bunch of research when I had to switch pills. My old brand was costing $50/month on my new insurance plan and I had to switch to generic, which was only $10/month. booooo!! :x
|
I'm starting for the first time on them so I did a load of reaserch about going on the pill before I went to the doctors. I wanted to know as much as I could before going to see about getting on them. I don't have to pay for my medication yet so that's alright.
|
That's a good thing Him_Rock. It's good to research and know what you are wanting. The more you understand, the better.
|
I coped this long with only pain killers but when the pain killers don't work well then you know you need to go to the doctors. The doctor was very helpful about it as well.
|
I hope all this talk of birth control isn't driving away the men. XD
|
IT probibly has. Wait a minuet there were men here ? *goes back to check previous random pages*
|
Ah, the men should have to deal with it. One day they'll have to hear all about it from their girlfriends. XP
*rainbow arches overhead* The More You Know! http://bp2.blogger.com/_32oS8FdsvJw/..._you_know1.jpg @HIM: What did the doctor give you for your cramps?? Something strong I hope. I once had cramps so bad I thought my appendix had burst or something. It was horrible. It wasn't even uterus pain like usual, but my entire midsection. |
I'm on the pill for them because I was on the strongest over the counter pain killers you can get without having a perscription and they did nothing, so on the pill to help witht he pain. Doctors where I am don't really like perscribing medications with alot of asperin in when you're still a teenager.
Also still looking for people willing to be sporked by me. |
I don't trust The Pill. Research is showing that hormone therapies (The Pill uses hormones) up your risk of cancer. o_o No thanks!
So I'm just going to get my tubes tied. It can be undone. But my boyfriend and are pretty sure that we won't ever want kids. We're just not kid people. We also both really like quiet and peace. Which you can't have with a two year old running around. |
re: This month's Contribution Items
Yeah - I like that we have the option of wearing both at the same time. XD It would take someone with a really awesome wardrobe and fine sense of balance of color/composition to really make it work, though. XD I'm sure there's at least a few people on Menewsha able to do that. XD The others who attempt it (for reasons other than sales; re: Blondheart) are just mountebanks. XD re: Female problems I do not look forward to work today. I am taking my Shin Bo "super heater health packs" to work with me. Both of them. They're these plastic things filled with a clear gel and a little metal disk. You click the disk and it produces a chemical reaction that changes the gel into a super-hot crystal substance that is warm/hot for at least an hour - up to several. I can't boil water at work (that's what makes the crystals go back to gel), but I can get really really hot water, which at least reheats the packs a little enough to stay warm for a bit. Assuming I need to reheat them... I have two and I only work for four hours and a little extra before and after my shift. XD; I take two ibuprofen every few hours... sometimes that helps and sometimes it doesn't. This month seems to be a "doesn't". But at least it's not one of my really terrible months. :P I refuse to even think about depo again. I chose depo shot because I'm really bad about taking pills. I have some vitamins sitting by the monitor that have probably been here a week. u_u; The lady who was talking to me about the shot said that many women stopped having periods immediately. "Hot damn!" I thought. And then had a three month period. No one warned me that that could happen. I was on vacation visiting my then-boyfriend and I sort of freaked out. Had my mom call the clinic where I was getting the shots and they called me at my boyfriend's home, his mother answered and took the message that the "Alabama State Health Department" (or something) had called for me. I was beyond mortified because it could easily have sounded as if I was getting a call about some sort of venereal disease. u_u; So I had to explain to her. Which apparently sparked off a fight between her and her son about me being on birth control in the first place.... u_____u; Never skipped a month the entire time I was on depo, either. What a gyp. Gained weight, mortified myself, was inconvenienced like woah the first three months, had mood swings the first few months, it didn't decrease my pain by much during the month, and only shortened the period by a few days. .__. Full of lose. Here's a topic for the boys to discuss: Beef or guns? :D |
The only down fall of the pill, that has been proved at the moment, is that if you go on antibiotics then they cancel out the pill. I never take antibiotics becuase I ended up with a rash last time I did. Research is being disproved all the time and more results are comming out. I'd much rather be on the pill than be crippled in pain. I have a friend who's been on the pill for longer than me for the same reason as I am which is really how I made the decision to try the pill because she like me was being crippled by the pain and pain killers weren't working.
IF we took everything that is supposed to up the risk of cancer as we shouldn't eat or do that then we'd pretty much be living off water and nothing else. |
@Cherry: My mom thinks it might have contributed to her breast cancer, but there's really know way of knowing. :0 I was really little when she was diagnosed, so I really don't remember much about it. (She's cancer free now though. :D)
I'd like to have kids eventually, but since I don't want to be a single mother it'd probably be a long while yet before I'll have a family. XD *doesn't have a boyfriend* |
HIM - Yeah, it's not confirmed yet, but I don't want to take my chances, y'know? I'm super paranoid.
Ferra - Well, I'm glad they got rid of all of her cancer. :D CK - Another good heating type thing is a fabric bag of rice. Put it in the microwave for about a minute, then move the rice around inside of it, and the rice in the middle will be hot. It works pretty well. Then reheat it for about 30 seconds when it starts to cool down. And ooh, yeah... the "WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE ON BIRTH CONTROL" is a really awkward conversation. o_o My boyfriend thinks he may be able to come up here next Spring (he lives ten hours away), so I want to get my tubes tied before then. But I don't know how to mention the deadline to my mom.... ._ . Hopefully it will happen on its own before then, and I won't have to bring anything up. Because I'd rather not have to say "No, I need it done now so I can secks my boyfriend, okay?" XD |
