I think it could be the way Not-Lee took the picture.

A picture of Alex to compare to Not-Lee's picture:

Cherry Who? 08-22-2008 08:16 PM

Yeah, same glare, both a dark hat, both with a bit of a headtilt.
Kev doesn't have that stupid mascara thing, though. XD

Fiarra - Thanks. :D

fiarra 08-22-2008 08:18 PM

^_^ You're welcome Cherry~!

HIM_ROCK 08-22-2008 08:19 PM

Alex wears false eyelashes to get that look. He pulls them off and sticks them to the mirror.

That was one weird film, and my mother rented it for me to watched because she was it when it came out and she didn't think it was that bad.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can see the resembalance between those two pictures.

Cherry Who? 08-22-2008 08:22 PM

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've seen pictures, and I've read the book rather recently.
Very good story. I was thinking in Nadsat for a few days, though. XD

HIM_ROCK 08-22-2008 08:26 PM

I want to read the book but I don't think the local liberry has it but I can find out somehow and if they don't have it then they can bring it in from another liberry.

I've read The Exorcist, the film didn't half make more sense after I read that and I could point and shout add in at the movie.

General Lee Outrageous 08-22-2008 08:53 PM

I dunno hu that is, but yeah, I tend not to wear makeup.

HIM_ROCK 08-22-2008 08:55 PM

It's Alex from A Clockwork Orange, Bart dresses as him in one of The Simpson's halloween specials.

And in another episode where Mr Burns is trying to train Santa's Little Helper to be a guard dog, they use a technique from clockwork orange.

General Lee Outrageous 08-22-2008 09:01 PM

What is this "clockwork orange"? I've ne'er heard of a mechanical fruit. How queer.

HIM_ROCK 08-22-2008 09:06 PM

Maybe it looks like this. Shown in actual size:

General Lee Outrageous 08-22-2008 09:09 PM

Looks like a lemon, but my mom's computer screen is wiggidy-whack, Wyatt.

HIM_ROCK 08-22-2008 09:11 PM

I assure you it's an orange.

General Lee Outrageous 08-22-2008 09:14 PM

Prolly. I'll check when I go back to my comp.

In other news, 20 points if you can guess what my reference was from and an additional ten points for not insulting me.

Cherry Who? 08-22-2008 10:55 PM

I know it's a reference to SOMEthing, since I've heard my friend reference it before. But he watches dumb movies. XD (so much for the extra ten)
So, like, a stoner movie or something along that general genre and appeal.

General Lee Outrageous 08-23-2008 02:40 AM

NO. NOT A DUMB MOVIE! YOU ARE ON POINTS PROBATION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Cherry Who? 08-23-2008 02:41 AM

If you don't think it's a dumb movie, why would you think people would insult you for referencing it, hmm? :P

General Lee Outrageous 08-23-2008 03:03 AM

I think it's amazing, but most people judge it by the title.

ALSO I GOT SEASON TWO OF HOUSE YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!

fiarra 08-23-2008 03:17 AM

YAY FOR HOUSE.

*fidgets* I want my season 1 robin hood boxset....

CK 08-23-2008 03:54 AM

I resurrect topic portions FROM THE DAWN OF TIME (or, roughly a few weeks ago)....

Aww... I'm sorry about your foot. >_<; I hope it's feeling better by now. >_<;

My left big toe and one of my middle right toes are not happy with me and haven't been since a vigorous game of beach ball in the pool on my birthday earlier this month. XD; Especially my big toe, which might possibly be a little broken. Stupid toes.

Don't even TALK to me about delays unless you waited for Spore.

I HAVE. And I will have to continue to wait on the game even after it's released because I doubt this computer will run it because it hasn't run most games for the last two years. :c

But I haven't waited on the other games/albums/etc that people mentioned to trump Spore. XD

I liked it too. XD More than the other theme parks in Orlando I've been to, actually. Though I prefer MGM Studios and Animal Safari or whatever it was called and possibly Epcot to the Magic Kingdom. I still quite like the Magic Kingdom, though.

One of these years I'm going to get a room in one of the Disney hotels and a multipass so I can go everywhere! But there's really not too much point to it... My family has a time share at Vistana resort, which is right very near Disney and probably cheaper for me to stay at Vistana than Disney itself... BUT IT'D BE MORE FUN TO GO EARLY AND STAY LATE AT THE PARK ITSELF THANKS TO STAYING IN THE HOTEL IS ALL.

LOL. That was my basic response to seeing that Angelina Jolie movie with the assassins. ::crosses "Tropic Thunder" off of her mental, "maybe...?" list::

I CAN! AND QUITE OFTEN DO! MUAHAHAHAHAA! (Well, minus the "in bed" part.)

Also, I approve of your screen name, mainly because my usual online screen name is "Klawz" or "Klawzie". XD We're distant cousins now, or something. >_>

There were some more recently posted things I was going to respond to, but I can't be bothered to remember them anymore. >_>

A wild CK has appeared!

Ck uses "multi-quote barrage"!!!!

Thread takes 2d6 stun damage!

CK 08-23-2008 04:01 AM

::giggles in a way that she would be really embarrassed if anyone actually overheard in real life. because it was a combination of geeky/dorky amusement, surprise and half-muffled by the fact that she had her mouth not quite open at the time (see also: surprise):: >_>;;;

Yeah, I think that may have made my night actually. >_>;

Are you ever going to tell us what it is? XD

Hi, CK! I hadn't seen you for a bit. ^^

fiarra - I lul'd. XD

CK 08-23-2008 04:10 AM

XD Hullo. :3

The last few days of the event, I started feeling really poorly, and I've had up and down energy levels ever since. u__u; I think I've been spending 1/4th of the time I usually spend on Menewsha since I started feeling poorly. :B But I'm starting to feel better again - as evidenced by the fact that I've finally spent the time reading the last 3409309 posts in Hoff. XD

Cherry Who? 08-23-2008 04:30 AM

D: I'm sorry you felt bad. *hugs* Think it was a bug or something?

General Lee Outrageous 08-23-2008 04:48 AM

No, I will not tell. Thar be points involved. Actually, here's a little-known fact. Not-Lee points are the latest incarnation of my attempts to create a D&D scoring system for real life. I had to simplify the thing to bare threads to make it work. Maybe I'll make a forum RPG one day. I need to find people who'd place and a place to put it...
