Yeah, my kitty did that sometimes too. I think that was while he left the crickets. He didn't really want to eat them, he just didn't know what to do with them, so he got bored and walked away. xD;
What type of kitty do you have?

She is a silver, black, brown, and white tabby of questionable lineage. Her father was a behemoth red tomcat and her mother was a half blind stray with an attitude. Somehow she turned out beautiful. She is in fact licking my elbow and sitting on the arm of my computer chair as I write.

This is actually kinda funny. Earlier this week, I was talking with some friends about how horrible it would be if someone had the audacity to do some cooking over the Salem "witches". We decided it was unlikely to have happened because of the fact that the smell of burning flesh and hair would ruin whatever was being cooked.

CK 10-03-2008 02:46 AM

Daw... kitty. ;_; ::warm fuzzies just from hearing about the cat:: XD

not-Lee: LOL. Interesting conversation. XD

But you still make me sad because your signature made me lose The Game. :c

(It also means I get to sweep around the house in the cheaper of the two kimono I own, the heavier kimono I got my mom, or the fuzzy teddy-bear-like housecoat. :heart: )

::pushes the season change a long just a little further and hopes it stops exactly where tea and hot chocolate and fires in the fireplace are appropriate and no colder:: :B

I agree, though, Cherry... I mean, I enjoy watching a fire or taking a bath, but the rest of it doesn't appeal to me, personally. XD

Hard floors are cleaner though, trust me. We pulled up some carpet a few years ago, and you would not believe how much dirt was below it. >.< It was disgusting.
If you put down a brand new carpet and got it steam cleaned regularly and vacuumed it very regularly, you could probably have a very nice, clean carpet. But they're such dirt traps. Even if they are nicer on the feet.

I don't really take baths. I don't think I've taken one in... jeez, probably not since I started showering when I was eight or something. And we don't have a fireplace. :( I do like watching fires, though.
Last weekend I spent the night with my grandparents, and they have a fire pit outside which they lit up, and I sat outside watching it for about an hour. When I came in, I was so sleepy that I napped in the computer chair. xD

Aww, she sounds cute. :) Do you have any pictures of her?

CK 10-03-2008 03:09 AM

Yeah - we've been having less of an allergy problem since moving in here too. XD I may see rolling dust bunnies under my bed now (which I have never, ever seen before in my life), but other than cold feet in the cold months and being weirded out by dust tumbleweed - I prefer these floors to carpet. XD (Well, if we got some rugs for the kitchen, anyway. Because my bedroom's right next to the kitchen and when family members stomp around in the kitchen or dogs tik-tik-tik through it, it's hard for me to sleep. >_> BUT OTHER THAN THAT.)

Do you not like baths, or not have a good enough tub for one, or just got so used to showers? XD I like to soak in the tub for awhile and then wash in a shower. I am incredibly wasteful when it comes to water that way. >_>; But to be fair to me, between cramps every month and joint pain off and on all year, I generally need the comfort of a soak anyway. :B

Yeah - watching fires makes me sleepy too. XD Which would make it perfect for helping you fall asleep as recommended if you had access to one. Though I guess you could stare into a candle if you were careful. o-o Or light incense and watch the trailing scented smoke. Just gotta remember to put it out properly before you nod off. :b

Good morning everyone.

Interesting topic on Alice in Wonderland. I never really thought about it at all.

HIM_ROCK 10-03-2008 02:59 PM

Alice In Wonderland seemingly innocent story but it's full of drugs.

The world is lucky that I'm not heavily armed. Today is one of those days where I just wanna go on a killing spree.

Cherry Who? 10-04-2008 12:40 AM

Aww, what happened Kev?

General Lee Outrageous 10-04-2008 01:20 AM

The limitlessness of human stupidity reared its ugly head once more in physics lab today. Not only does it make me irate, but it also hampered my own progress on the lab while I explained vastly simple concepts to people who wouldn't shut up long enough to listen. Then my friend lent me his copy of Spore, but the thing does play on the computer! Also, it's cold!

KITTENS FOR EVERYBODY.

*throws up arms* I HAS A KITTY!!!!

CK 10-04-2008 02:11 AM

Can I has a kitten on my head? D: ::dismayed joy at the very thought::

Spore.... :drool: My brother's computer can/did run it... Of course, a few days later, his computer completely crashed. I don't know if there is any relation, but I haven't had him talk about the game since the computer was restored. (But I haven't asked and my brother and I don't talk much since he hermits in his room upstairs or goes to class or out with his friends, and I hermit in the computer room or bed. >_>; )

But I made him play the game for me one night and we tried to work on getting a cute kitsune-like creature. It was still very much a WIP when we closed out of the game for the night. But I did come back a day or two later and see he'd gotten as far as the whole cities-at-war thing. Anyway. I totally know where you're coming from on Spore-envy. :/ This computer hasn't been able to run new games in about two years now. >_<;

Sorry your day sucked, though. :/

tentenpuff 10-04-2008 02:33 AM

I ... I want... a ... kitty-on-head, tooo...
:<

fiarra 10-04-2008 02:36 AM

*dances with kitty* <33

I've wanted to try Spore, but I don't doubt that my laptop will instantly explode should I try to play it.

Cherry Who? 10-04-2008 03:59 AM

*headkitties for CK and Nancy*
HEADKITTIES FOR EVERYONE! :D

We srsly need a kitty plushie or something.

Q U E E N ! E 10-04-2008 04:31 AM

I want a real kitty... Y.Y

I've had puppies like crazy, but my mom hates cats and she's never let me have one. And it sucks, since I'm pretty animal-loving person (as long as its not bugs or fishes) and tend to love all types of animals.

But puppies are lovable as well. I'll live. XD

Spore? A computer game? How much time will it kill? If I slack off any more, I'll die from screen-poisining.

I need to log on more.. I hate having to read more than a page of text to catch up. >.>'

CK 10-04-2008 06:13 AM

IEE Headkitties. D: :heart: :heart: :heart:
I'll see what I can do about petitioning the pixelists. XD Though I would prefer real-life headkitties. :3

Queenie - Spore's a really great everything-simulation game.

You start off as a little plankton thing and swim around eating other plankton things (or avoid being eaten). And slowly you grow bigger until you evolve to be big enough to walk on land. Then you wander around on land and make alliances or enemies of the other creatures that have evolved to land creatures. Then you eventually evolve to form little tribes. And the tribes become cultures of 'people'. And then it becomes something of a city-builder. And then waaay eventually, you evolve to be able to hop in spaceships and go around and colonize/terrorize/terraform other planets. :3 And then other galaxies.

All along the way, you have the ability to 'collect' and pick and choose from different body parts to mold your creature into whatever you like. (And then your buildings and vehicles into whatever you like.) So you can create something that kinda looks like a bunny with giant saber toothed cat teeth and insect wings, if you wanted.

::slobbers all over the game:: :drool:

Thank goodness I can't run it yet. I'd never be here. I've barely been here lately as it is. x_x;

(And the Howse of Hoff generally runs very swiftly when people are chatting. XD And it's usually only during events that we stop being chatty... and I think we've had a Hoff thread in each event since HoH started, so while I'm too busy doing event stuff to come and chat, I know they're very chatty there too. XD )

Cherry Who? 10-04-2008 04:22 PM

Queenie - I want a kitty too. ;_;

CK - Have them make kitties! KITTIEEEESSS!

General Lee Outrageous 10-04-2008 05:34 PM

Danke fer all the lovins! I dunno about headcats, but we could always get headcrab plushies!
