General Lee Outrageous 11-06-2008 03:42 AM

I wasn't necessarily talking about politics. It was more of a rant on life in general.

tentenpuff 11-06-2008 03:56 AM

Well, maybe there's a reason the road is sometimes less traveled.
-is referring to Robert Frost, if you haven't gotten it yet-

CK 11-06-2008 05:09 AM

But can we still talk about Edward....?

>_>

I've always found humanity's fascination with vampires fascinating...

Kukon 11-07-2008 02:00 AM

You people are crazy, oh well.

Oh, good idea, I hadn't thought of that.
And then we can talk about Edward!

shadow - I have no obsession with vampires. Most vampire stories sound incredibly lame to me. I just like Twilight for reasons that I cannot comprehend.

Kukon 11-07-2008 03:02 AM

@Cherry: How are you?

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 03:10 AM

Been better. You?

Kukon 11-07-2008 03:12 AM

Same, i've been better.

CK 11-07-2008 03:16 AM

Yeah. I mean, I like vampires in theory, but in execution mostly they bore me.

Exceptions: Vampire Hunter D
Twilight

....Yeah, that's all I can think of at the moment. There are a few others I liked as characters, but those are the only two "series" I've ever liked. Trying to read the Ann Rice books and while Interview With a Vampire was pretty good, I can't stay fully interested in the yaoi love-fest that is the sequel. (Not that I don't occasionally like yaoi lovefests...) So I'm reading Harry Potter right now instead.

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 04:48 PM

(note to self: do not read the second book in the Anne Rice series)

HIM_ROCK 11-07-2008 05:24 PM

HIM has Atomic pink hairs!!

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 06:14 PM

I must have missed it. It looks white to me.

HIM_ROCK 11-07-2008 06:20 PM

HIM is too lazy go round round and change her hair colour on here. But she finally got round to dying her hair.

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 06:57 PM

Ohhh, REAL pink hair. I see. Awesome!
I've been thinking about dying my hair purple, but
1) I'm afraid it may hurt me in my job hunt
2) It might clash with my purple shirts

HIM_ROCK 11-07-2008 07:03 PM

You can get temperary purple dye but you have to be careful with those ones if they have peroxide in then you end up with part bleached hair.

Depending on how you have it done then it's pretty easy to hide if you have a big chunk done at the front then all you need to do is change your parting and it hides it. If you have streaks done then they can be hard to hide.

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 07:50 PM

I've done a temp dye before. But it stained towels and pillow cases and the shoulders of my shirts. >.< Basically anything that my hair touched while wet.
Yeah, I was thinking about doing ALL my hair purple, though. Though I suppose streaks or a chunk might look better.

HIM_ROCK 11-07-2008 07:55 PM

We have old towels which we use when dying hair so it doesn't matter if the towel get ruined.

I've taken to using natural hair dyes because they come off things easier then the chemical ones but you either have to have naturally light hair or bleached hair to get the best resutls from it.

Cherry Who? 11-07-2008 07:58 PM

My hair is naturally light, but I dye it sort of dark.
And yeah, I use a junk towel when I dye my hair, but I mean, with the temp dye, it would stain stuff EVERY TIME I'd shower. For weeks. >.<

Yeah, and less chemical-based ones are gentler on your hair. Dyes with ammonia absolutely KILL my hair. I still use chemical ones (can't find a natural one, nor can I afford one), but only ammonia-free ones.
They smell nicer, too!

I'm actually due to dye my hair soon. I haven't done it since like, May. xD; MASSIVE roots showing.

HIM_ROCK 11-07-2008 08:04 PM

I've found that if you buy dyes off the internet then it turns out cheeper than buying it in shops. Escpeically if you buy other things with the dye. There are only two shops that sell natural dyes round where I am and they're really expensive.

Atomic pink...... you know someone's going to ask for pics.
