Then you're totally missing out on a great collection of adorable Pokemon.The page I linked goes to the /c section which is for cute anime pictures and is totally work-safe.

I honestly don't understand why some people are so scared of 4chan. So long as you're keeping on eye on which links you click, it's completely ok. For example I exclusively frequent the anime wallpapers board, the cute anime board and the cosplay/egl board. They are all work-safe and really cool.

Um.... where on earth did you hear that?! Cuz that's a little absurd.

It's from Gaia ... and its true ... they even hacked a gaia dev's account and put an announcement with the subject that gaia was closing and inside just said the word "4chan" and some evil laugh chat speak.

They, to my knowledge, are still threatening to hack accounts. They even have done raids on the forums in the past. But this is ongoing. 4chan hates gaia ... XD ...

I know this has nothing to do with mene, but because of that, I don't like 4chan....

Ok... 1- That's ridiculous. Sure there are some vindictive people out there, and a lot of them like to go to /b on 4chan. But the people who actually run and own the site will actually ban people who talk about raids and the like. They don't condone it AT ALL. People don't stupid stuff on the internet will thrown around the site of 4chan as a cover, but that's not what 4chan is about!!! I mean.. I'm on 4chan everyday and I LOVE Gaia and donate regularly and I hate people who try to plan raids.

If that dev didn't properly secure they're account, it's probably good that it happened so they could increase their security. (NOT that I am agreeing that they should have hacked into it!)

It's a very large blanket statement to say that 4chan hates Gaia. 4chan is a collection of a couple dozen image boards where people can freely share images with each other and discuss them. And sometimes there is little to no cross-over between the boards because the people in the cosplay image board might not like say.. origami... or cute anime...

Honestly, you should try to learn a little bit more about the site instead of condemning it because of one incident started by a few stupid people who don't even hold authority on the site.

Yeah it's kinda a bummer. But at least they're gonna fix it to be perfect before releasing everything for the event~!

Well I guess I am only hearing one side of the story then ... idk what else to say ... :shock: .. I know thats usually not like me because normally I hear both sides out. But ... I really don't know. Well I do know 4chan is a image community but I don't know really anything else about it. I went on it once and that was about it ... Maybe I was just jumping to conclusions about the admin on 4chan, and its true, the people who did do the hackings could have just been regular members on 4chan with no powers. But I can't really say anything because all I was going off on was what was happening on gaia and what the others were telling me. sorry :sweat: I guess that saying really does come into play .. "don't believe everything you hear and read" :oops:

xD Sorry to go off on you like that. I just hate how people always bash the site as if it's the root of all evil. The site admin has made several posts about not planning raids like that, and people do get banned for it on the site too. But because of the one section on the site that gets a shady rep, people tend to instantly assume that if you go on 4chan, then you're a terrible hacker person who is also a total pervert. And I'm definitely none of those things but I love 4chan!!

And the event is the Phoenix Jubiliee. If you look in the Announcements, there's a thread about it!
