(^&#*%^&$* I was writing a post and then it refreshed. now my post will be less awesome)

Welcome to people who were not previously here.. there are too many of you to do that individually.

RE: fruit
Apricots are my favorite! But agree.. no mixing strange non-fruits with the fruit. Unless it is a pie.. in which case, mix away!

RE: pandas
I totally knew that would be Cherry's reaction. xD They're adorable though

RE: LEMMINGS
I love that game. I used to play for HOURS trying to make them not die. Stupid things.

Deranged Insanity 03-01-2009 08:08 PM

:D !
I thought I'd come say hello after a really long time.
I kind of lost track after page 100 or 200. XD ! ! !
Mind if I join in you guys?

Cherry Who? 03-01-2009 09:17 PM

Deranged - Hi! And of course you can join us!

Silver - Ohhhh yeah. I remember seeing previews for that movie. I hadn't seen Hoff in the previews previously, though.

Oddly, I never had this game called Lemmings. I say this is odd because I have toonnnnss of SNES games. And I still play my SNES.

I hate it when that happens. ;^;
And then you feel awkward typing the same things over again. xD
And you can't even get it exactly right. D:

And mangoes are my favorite! :[DDD

fiarra 03-02-2009 05:55 AM

My version of lemmings was on a demo game CD for our ancient Mac. I've never owned and SNES in my life.

Mango is delicious.

Elmira Swift 03-02-2009 12:53 PM

:) at Tentenpuff...

Mangoes are lovely, and I like nectarines.

...... :O
*shouldershake* What is wroooong with yooouuuu? DDD: SNES is one of the best systems ever. GO GET ONE.

HIM_ROCK 03-02-2009 05:46 PM

Am I the only person who has never played on the lemmings game.

Cherry Who? 03-02-2009 07:49 PM

Nope. I said I hadn't.

HIM_ROCK 03-02-2009 07:50 PM

I miss things when I dissapear and go read about MOTHMAN!!! <insert dramatic music here>

Elmira Swift 03-02-2009 10:04 PM

Not only am I unfamiliar with the Lemmings game - or SNES (I so want to type "sneeze"), but what is Mothman??

HIM_ROCK 03-02-2009 10:12 PM

Mothman is a man sized moth that seems to want to eat people and can fly really fast. I'd hate for that to go splat on my windscreen it'd take some screenwash to get that mess off.

Elmira Swift 03-02-2009 10:18 PM

I shouldn't have read that while eating dinner since I almost had some of it come out my nose from laughing!

If Mothman were real, I'd think people would need to have some screenwash and, possibly, a high-pressure water system.

Cherry Who? 03-03-2009 03:01 AM

SNES is an anagram for Super Nintendo [Entertainment System]
It looks like this:

Or, if you're one of those really strange people, it looks like this:

Ringing any bells now?

Elmira Swift 03-03-2009 03:10 AM

Absolutely not! Then again, I live in a cave. Under a rock.

Cherry Who? 03-03-2009 03:18 AM

I'd have to say under a few rocks in the very back depths of a cave. :P
That, or you're much younger than me.... Or much older, and not into video games. How old are you?

Elmira Swift 03-03-2009 03:35 AM

Ancient. The first home PC-type of computer was built from a kit by my dad when I was in 11th grade. It used a cassette player for the "memory" and programs. I'm 43 and have 2 really young kids. Keeps me from turning into a polyester queen.

Cherry Who? 03-03-2009 06:02 PM

Ohhh, I see. Though maybe older age isn't much of an excuse - the SNES was originally my mother's. P:
But then again, she's unusual. xD

HIM_ROCK 03-03-2009 06:14 PM

We still have a Super Nintendo!!! Mother got rid of the Sega though D:

Cherry Who? 03-03-2009 08:03 PM

Oh noooo. D:
I never had a Sega. I want one, though. I've played emulators online and I love sonic.

Silver Magi 03-03-2009 08:05 PM

*Creeps in and glomps HIM and Cherry*

HIM_ROCK 03-03-2009 08:19 PM

We had a 10 in one game for the Sega and I always played on Street Fighter or Sonic. The mother gave it to someone she worked with because the woman she gave it to son broke his through over use.

Elmira Swift 03-03-2009 08:59 PM

My parents were opposed to us having any gaming system in the house. I think it had more to do with my dad being an a** hat about sharing the TV more or worry over us playing games instead of doing our homework. Gaming just wasn't my bag. Any video games I played as a kid were at local arcades. Yep. Lived under a rock - and you can still find me there :)

fiarra 03-04-2009 12:38 AM

>.> We didn't have any consoles until the Gamecube came out... cuz a family friend gave us their N64 and all the games when they got the new system. And then my brother got an Xbox.

Before that he got a Gameboy Pocket.. which I never got to play until he got a Color and I stole the Pocket. </3 My parents are very anti-video games/computers.

tentenpuff 03-04-2009 01:11 AM
