I never heard of the dolls until I started buying things on etsy. My grandmother collected dolls, but my daughter has zero interest in them. If I had a proper job, I'd probably collect dolls.

Many dolls then. Not just ones that were made in so many hundred and are really collectable.

You'd have to ask someone really nicely, Dystopia to make the doll to your design.

custom designs can be expensive, some of the prices for people's own designs on dolls and things are shocking.

I'm forever going to be doll-less.

I'm never going to be able to afford the dolls I would like seeing as I seem to like mainly the discontinued ones.

I've been put off some BJD because I've seen some the are just plain creepy, even creepier than the Lizzie Borden doll and that was creepy.
