I like cats for the fact that they're as independant as I am. I know when our cat, Willis, wants something since he has his ways. If he wants out, he will paw at the windows, if he wants food he tends to cry or look at his bown and then you. If he wants a belly rub then he will lie down and then move onto his back when you give him rubs.

Speaking of creature communication, I swear spiders have twigged onto the fact that dad kills them since they have taken to going into my room, which dad leaves alone, no matter what their point of entry.

Cherry Who? 03-25-2009 11:01 PM

I like cats because they're low maintenance. I don't have to carve out time to play with them and try to remember. If they want attention, they come get it. If they don't, then they don't.
I like doggies, but I'm afraid that I wouldn't give them all the attention and play that they need.
I have a dog, but that's not a good judge of how I'd be with dogs. I'd play with my dog more if he didn't stink so much and if he wasn't almost always asleep or bugging me for food that he doesn't need.

Ummmm, my lizards... bask... under a heat lamp... and they sleep... It's riveting, I know.

Cherry Who? 03-25-2009 11:58 PM

I forgot you had lizards.
Sounds kind of like my hamster. He sleeps, hidden under a pile of bedding for the entire day. He'll occasionally come down to get a drink of water, and if you're lucky, you'll witness this.
Then he wakes up at about 1 AM and is as cute as can be, but only if you really need to go to bed and have no time to play with him. If you do, he's nowhere to be seen.

Flink 03-26-2009 03:02 AM

Haha, sounds like my hermie.

He'll sleep in his hut ALL day. Then a few hours at night he come out and rearranges his furniture and decides whether or not what I've left him to eat meets his standards. He is the PICKIEST eater of a hermie EVER.

It's hilarious. But annoying at the same time, since he likes so few things and I'm always trying new things and he decides he doesn't like them. XD

Silver Magi 03-26-2009 12:39 PM

*Curls up on Flink with a blanket and tissues*
Silver is sick, and NOT liking it. XD
All the hacking and coughing and sore throat-ness, fun stuff. :P

I wish I could have a cat, but since I'm allergic, I have to make due with cuddling my friend's cat, which loves me, but scratches the hell out of anyone else, including her. XD
I think they know when a person is allergic to them, hence the extra dander-spreading to make the cuddler sneeze. XDD;

HIM_ROCK 03-26-2009 12:48 PM

HIM is so happy it's highly disturbing even to HIM.

Flink 03-26-2009 04:23 PM

Flink is pissed. Trade places, HIM?

>.< She can't use the phone in the living room, since her nephew is in there and he'll be loud and obnoxious, and she can't use it in this room because it gets staticy in this wall jack.

Flink's not even going to consider the jack in her room, it's behind her bed and a really heavy dresser. :(

Cherry Who? 03-26-2009 04:25 PM

Flink - Aww, that sounds kind of cute. xD You mean a hermit crab, right? I didn't know they could have little personalities like that. xD

Silver - Booo to being sick and being allergic to cats. D:
I know there are types of dogs that are hypo-allergenic. Are there any types of cats like that?

HIM - Wow. Something good happen, or just random happiness?

Silver Magi 03-26-2009 04:31 PM

@ Cherry - Think so, I was looking at a hypo-cat on the internet a while ago, but to be honest, I wouldn't look at it the same way as a fluffy, black haired cat. XD

@ HIM - Yay for happy HIM. :D

@ Flink - Awhhh, you could always dangle him from the ceiling by his feet, whilst you get a chance to use the phone. :'3

..Too crazy of an idea? XD

Flink 03-26-2009 04:39 PM

Yea, a hermit crab. I tell people how picky he is and they're always so astonished since their hermies eat almost anything. XD It's kind of nice to know Bass is unique. Finding things he'll like is a challenge and I need a good challenge, oddly enough.

Even though I panic when life throws challenges at me at first, then I relax and barge into it screaming at the top of my lungs about chicken wraps. <.<

Silver: I'd break the fan? o.O

Cherry Who? 03-26-2009 04:48 PM

Silver - Are hairless ones the only hypo-allergenic ones?
I know they're the same as any other cat, but they look so creeeepy. D:

Flink - It's always nice to find that you've got one of those special animals. ^^

Silver Magi 03-26-2009 04:55 PM

@ Flink - GAH. Forgot to make it clear that you should dangle your NEPHEW by his feet. XD
*Goes off to fix typo*

@ Cherry - I think there might be hypo-cats that DO have fur, but I'm happy with my fatass dogs at the moment. XD <3

*Posts picture of Sweet Pea, the older one*

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...hosaidthat.jpg

Picture from last year, she looks the same, but instead of grass, we have snow and slush and other icy shit.

EDIT - Gah, didn't realize it was THAT big of a picture. XDD;
*Runs off to fix that as well*

Flink 03-26-2009 05:02 PM

Could you put that behind a link so it won't stretch the page? x.x

Silver Magi 03-26-2009 05:09 PM

Sure, I was just about to do that so I didn't have to scroll from side to side. :x

There, should be fixed now. XD

Sorry 'bout that.

Cherry Who? 03-26-2009 09:24 PM

Silver - Your dog is very pretty. ^^ Collies usually are.

HIM - Yay!

Roo - Tired?

HIM_ROCK 03-27-2009 06:01 PM

It seems less dirty the second time you read it.

I can't read the word disco ball anymore without thinking of The Mighty Boosh with the mirror ball suit.
