An Ode to a Chicken ~

Clucky, how soft your faux feathers are,
As you try to nom my face off,
You violent chicken,
Yet you redeem yourself with everlasting cuteness and overtones of awesome,
Stay forever with that real chicken,
from down the street,
And breed many half breed children,
for the world to eat.
Or cuddle, or both.
Actually.
Make them regenerate, oh Cluckenheimer of cool,
make them able to talk, eat and swim.
In a pool.

Cherry Who? 04-21-2009 03:03 AM

THERE
USED TO BE A SHOW
CALLED OUT OF THE BOX
IT WAS COOL
THEY LIVED IN A BOX
EXCEPT IT WAS HUGE ON THE INSIDE
AND THEY DID CRAFTS
AND PLAYED COOL GAMES.

Silver Magi 04-21-2009 03:04 AM

ZOMG.
I THINK I REMEMBER HEARING ABOUT THAT SHOW.
IYSGYOIUGAQYHBGGOYBUAQHB.

..Now I wanna watch it. D:

I like to read about cults sometimes too. xD But it's not in a "ooh, this sounds like a great idea" sort of way so much as I'm interested in psychology, thus, I find manipulation kind of interesting. Just how, from the outside it seems so obvious and stupid, but that people really do get pulled into stuff like that. And then of course, all the psychological issues with the people who start the cults in the first place. It's pretty interesting.

Precisely, that's the same reason I look that up and serial killers. I like to know -why- they did what they do. What led them to that, what part of their life was the breaking point.

Stuffed chikkins? =O

14th dimesnion?
Is that the one with the face-eating churros?

General Lee Outrageous 04-21-2009 08:32 PM

No, it's the one made of zombie jello and pretzels.

Silver Magi 04-21-2009 08:42 PM

Ohh okay. I remember now.
My cousin went there.
Said it was nice, but his friend got decapitated by a hunk of zombie jello.

General Lee Outrageous 04-21-2009 09:07 PM

Yeah, that tends to happen. Wearing a cardigan seems to prevent it. It also makes it seem like you can relate to teenagers.

-Clone High reference-

Silver Magi 04-21-2009 09:35 PM

Oh. o:
I'll have to tell him that before he goes on vacation again.
Might help prevent more decapitations.

Flink 04-22-2009 01:20 AM

Silver's avatar is so purdy. -pets it-

fairywaif 04-22-2009 01:54 AM

I read that chicken poem and it totally reminded me of the chickens on Zelda. I loved making them angry.... Did anyone else do that? And then die?

We should just have random poetry slam time. Someone give me something to write a poem about. Something totally random.

Cherry Who? 04-22-2009 02:35 AM

Yep. I loved attacking chickens. :D
Sometimes I could get away before they killed me. Sometimes I could not. Sometimes I tried attacking them more, but it didn't work.

Artsydaze 04-22-2009 02:45 AM

Hellows, Hoffies X3!

General Lee Outrageous 04-22-2009 03:46 AM

I was terrible at Zelda games. Since I didn't know what to do, I kept attacking the chickens over and over! So much fun!

Hai, Artsy!

I loved the N64 Zelda games, but the ones I tried for Gameboy, etc.
Didn't make much sense for me. D:

Hai, Artsy!

Really? You seem like you'd love them.
I used a game guide when I beat it (ocarina of time). Just for some guidance. Since I was actually able to beat it (an amazing feat for me), it shows you could too, I'm sure. xD

Well, busy days can be good! It's good to balance the slower days.

fairywaif 04-22-2009 06:33 PM

I need to finish Ocarina of Time. I'm really bad at throwing bombs in that one and I'm against the Dodongo.... Normally I love that boss but this time.... :illgetu: God. I tried doing Majora's Mask but I couldn't get past the first day. It's probably easier after that. My older sister says Twilight Princess is amazing and she wants it on the Wii really bad. I do too...

Cherry Who? 04-22-2009 06:38 PM

I haven't played Majora's mask or Twilight Princess. ;-;

Yeah, the bomb throwing is tricky with the dodongo. Just remember to throw it IN FRONT of him, not AT him, otherwise it won't work. And you can stand like... I think it's at a corner, at that slope that goes down into the lava, and he can't hit you there. So you can focus more on aiming than not getting run over.

EDIT: Wait, my memory is fuzzy. We may not be talking about the same thing.

HIM_ROCK 04-22-2009 06:46 PM

I have no idea what you people are talking about.

Cherry Who? 04-22-2009 07:13 PM

Zelda. It was said many times.

HIM_ROCK 04-22-2009 07:26 PM

Never played on that it never appealed to me.

Ferra 04-22-2009 07:43 PM

Did someone say bomb dodongos?! There's a song for that. XD

Silver Magi 04-22-2009 08:30 PM

I laughed.
A little bit too much, if laughing too much is possible.
