Afternoon hoffers.

fairywaif 04-27-2009 06:56 PM

Hey, just popping in for a few seconds! I found out I have to finish my math class and my latin course by Friday... I only have about 15 assignments each, so I can do it. But I'm not going to be on much this week...

You look like a guy who bothered me constantly in college. My friends claim he liked me. Isn't college age a bit old for the children's way of flirting? o.O

Yeah, that should really stop much earlier than that, especially because he's a guy.

You will be missed!

kdjsdhf. Kevin's signature isn't working for me.
Could you give me a direct link to the image? I have some photobucket servers blocked from a long time ago, and it may be on one of them, and the only way to fix it is with a direct link.

Silver Magi 04-27-2009 11:45 PM

Silver Magi 04-28-2009 01:09 AM

XD.
Flink shall bring happiness to people after Silver smashes them to bits. >:D

Flink 04-28-2009 01:28 AM

That or make them wonder what she's up to.

fairywaif 04-28-2009 03:13 AM

All this smashing sounds very bad.

I think I may be able to get on at 10 (or 11 because of Castle tonight) So I'll be posting infrequently, but I'll be in more than I thought!

I heard about the swine flu but I had sausage this morning anyways. I'm a rebel!

This all seems so very relevant now.

I liked that show Kids Next Door. -lames-

roocee 04-29-2009 03:31 PM

Mornin' everyone. Man I've done something to my neck/back and it really hurts today. Not sure if I need a new pillow or I'm just sleeping wrong.

Flink 04-29-2009 07:41 PM

Roo: I got a new pillow last time and it helped. Then after awhile I had to adjust the way I layered my pillows and subtract one pillow from the pile. (I use three pillows now instead of four).

I GOT THE JOB! I go to pee in a cup for a drug test tomorrow. And since I'm totally lame/a good girl, I SHOULD pass the test. -nodnod-

Ferra 04-29-2009 07:43 PM

@Flink: Congrats! Be sure to eat your weight in poppy seed muffins before you go, just in case.

Flink 04-29-2009 07:54 PM

That's been disproven. D:

-loves on MythBusters- But now I'm tempted to eat one just 'cause. o.o

Cherry Who? 04-29-2009 08:27 PM

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that, Roo!
I used to have a lot of neck/shoulder problems from sleeping. A memory foam pillow fixed it completely for me, though. Now the only times that my neck hurts is if I was looking down or up for a long time or something like that. And laying on the pillow usually fixes it!
But I know some people who had neck problems and a memory foam pillow didn't help them at all.

And congrats on the job, Flink!

Flink 04-30-2009 12:39 AM

My memory foam pillow doesn't help completely. I have to use two other pillows. I found the situation that works for me. But I think it's beginning to wear off, so I'll have to shuffle the pillows again.

I did sleep with a goose down pillow just because it felt comfortable when I fell asleep, but through the night it just made me neck hurt.

Finally I got rid of it and have two really flat and rather firm pillows and put the memory foam in the middle, right below the thinnest and softest pillow. Now I have problems with my right ankle whenever I wake up. It takes an hour for it to stop hurting. x.x

Thanks, Cherry! I hope I do well, it'll require a LOT of standing, I'll be a cashier. D:

General Lee Outrageous 04-30-2009 12:45 AM

Yay Flink! You should consider getting a big stool.

Flink 04-30-2009 12:51 AM

I doubt Wal-Mart will likeme bringing a big stool in. o.o

fiarra 04-30-2009 04:19 AM

YAY FLINK!

My job was tough to transition to as it also meant I stand all the time, and walk people to tables. Give it a week or so where you'll get home feeling like your legs are going to fall off and then you'll adjust. :)

roocee 04-30-2009 01:42 PM

Congrats Flink!!! Great news.

Thanks for the input on the pillow everyone. I need to do some further research :)

Cherry Who? 04-30-2009 07:57 PM

Flink - Maybe you don't have a very good memory foam pillow? Or you could be using the wrong side.
On mine, one end has this big bump at the base which offers correct support for side-sleepers, and the other end slopes down more for people who sleep on their back. Is yours like that?

Ooh, the standing will be tough, but you'll adjust after a while. Who knows, it may even help tone your legs a little bit since they'll be doing more work than they're used to! :)

Ferra - I LIKE THE DANCING SANDWICH.
