@Sachiyo-Chan: ORLY? XD I will agree my Japanese is far from perfect. I meant to say "I'm doing fine" rather than the boring "hai, genki." If you used a translator then yep, it would have made no sense, but I think the way I said it was correct. *unsure, still a student*

That's quite neat! I don't have an opportunity to practice much outside of the classroom, so my Japanese is very slipshod unfortunately. I hope to improve though. |
Yeah, haha. You just have to watch for small things like that. My dad is full German and my mom is Japanese so i got to here both of those languages my whole life. The only language my parents have in common is english so that's why i'm so good at english. I've never taken a language class... ever. haha.

@Sachiyo-Chan: I wish my mom didn't pass up the opportunity to learn Swedish, then I could have become an unstoppable English/Swedish/Japanese force! Oddly she did study Japanese while she was in college, but she doesn't remember any of it. She gave me her old textbook though. |

@Sachiyo-Chan: I want to achieve fluency in any language really. By circumstance it ended up being Japanese that I'm pursuing, but I'd love to learn others if I ever get the opportunity.
