Ferra - Well, I guess I do grin when I'm talking to people in person... But right now with these giant springs in my mouth, it looks weird when I grin. Like, it doesn't curl up, it's just straight out. So instead of it being like :D It's more like :0 xDDD ...I hate these springs. D: They make my face look weird. D: Meh, I think I'm going to make my avatar grin. Nancy's right, it's just not me without it. xD And this hair's hairline is too high. >> I have a fivehead. |

@Cherry: My smile is terrible. XD Truly. And yet I still can't help but smile a lot. I also apparently am capable of creating a very convincing sad puppy-dog sort of look and a look that makes people want to punch me in the face (i.e. my default mode).
I'm so happy I'm finally getting my teeth fixed. <3 Too bad it's going to cost as much as a nice used car. >__< |
Shiz - Every so often we get new ones. As long as they're not fired or quit, a mod will, eventually, have been assigned to every forum at some point in time.
Ferra - I was the same way before I got braces. >< I'd smile and then remember I had two rows of teeth and stop. >> Ha, I have a puppy dog face too. xD It's obviously fake, but my boyfriend HATES when I do it because apparently it makes him sad. xD It'll be worth it! It'll hurt and sometimes you won't be able to eat (be sure to have stuff like instant mashed potatoes or something on hand), but it'll be worth it. Even though I look shitty now with these stupid springs, I still look better than I used to. The whole shape of my mouth and cheeks (extending as far up as the apples of my cheeks) have changed as a result. It looks a lot better. |

@Cherry: I already had braces actually. :sweat: My teeth problems now are things braces can't solve.
I was actually born with an incisor tooth missing, I broke my two front most teeth when I was a kid, and the other incisor is a "peg tooth", which means it'll forever look like a baby tooth just coming in. OTL It sounds like I have a total hill-billy mouth, but honestly it's not too noticeable aside from the peg tooth since my broken teeth were temporarily patched and I have a retainer that gives me a fake tooth. What I'm going to be doing now is get a permanent new tooth (bye bye, retainer!), veneers for my broken ones, and a ceramic cap for my little guy and they will all finally look normal and perfect. *cries* I'll be so happy. |

@Cherry: I sure hope so. XD; I hate getting my photo taken because of my stupid smile. (But that's not just my teeth since my eyes do a really stupid looking scrunch sort of thing. XD)
I'm getting the ball rolling September 1st since that's when my first surgery will be. I have to wait several months or weeks between each procedure, so I'm guessing it won't be done until next spring. |

@Cherry: Yes, but I won't be getting the actual tooth part until much later. There's a bunch of stages that sound like they'll be pretty unpleasant.
