HIM_ROCK 09-07-2009 05:45 PM

No one is going to know my name....yet....if ever.

I will be changing my clothes I'm not going to go that Miss Havisham. Especially seeing that I end up with dirty kitten prints on me and today dirty chicken foot prints.

Facade 09-07-2009 05:48 PM

D:

I bet your name is Road! That explains why there are chicken footprints on you!

[/pun]

8D I'm so funny. Err, maybe? ... =(! Please laugh! I try so hard...

-sobs-

...Kay, that wasn't funny. Fine. But still!

HIM_ROCK 09-07-2009 05:49 PM

It was such a bad pun it was funny.

Nearly as bad as me saying to my parents that I want a camel and I shall call it Camellot.

Facade 09-07-2009 05:56 PM

LMAO.

That was pretty funny. xD;

I'd say it beat my pun into the ground. Dx~

Cherry Who? 09-07-2009 08:50 PM

Oh, happy belated birthday, HIM! :D

HIM_ROCK 09-07-2009 08:53 PM

Thank you :)

Facade 09-07-2009 09:00 PM

Dum dee dum~

I hate doing laundry. :[

Although I really need to do it. e_e

So I threw a load in, and I have another one or two more to do before everything's cleeean. <3

Cherry Who? 09-08-2009 12:12 AM

Laundry's a pain, but at least you don't have to do much. Just throw in some soap and fabric softener, throw the clothes in, walk away.
The bitch is folding/hanging everything after it's dry. ><

fairywaif 09-08-2009 12:28 AM

I have to wring out my laundry because the agitator doesn't work. It's terribley hard on my hands.

HIM, your cake is so cute! I want a cake like that!

Facade 09-08-2009 01:16 AM

I'd hate to have to wring it. ._. I'm sorry that your agitator doesn't work, fairywaif! I don't know precisely what it is, although my guess is that it's some part of the washing machine that empties water, or... something. xD

Yeah, although all you have to do for laundry is toss it in the washer, toss it in the dryer, and fold it/hang it up, it's a total pain. Might also be because my laundry room is in our basement, and I hate having to run down two flights of stairs just to get it down there/toss it in/toss it in the dryer approx. 30 mins later/get it out/lug it up, etc., etc. ... D;

But who am I to complain? I love the smell of clean clothes, and I love putting on clothes that just came from the dryer! Especially in the winter. xD

I love clean things, although I rarely make the effort to keep them that way. :V

DariaMorgendorfer 09-08-2009 02:47 AM

I want to eat your signature HIM....It looks so tasty!

fairywaif 09-08-2009 03:13 AM

It's the round thing in the middle. I like the smell of clothes just out of the dryer. Very fresh!

Cherry Who? 09-08-2009 03:15 AM

Facade - Ours is downstairs too. But I only have to go down one flight of steps.
Folding isn't TOO bad, I guess. But it is when it's the warm water white load. >> Since it's all basically socks, washrags and underwear, it takes A LOT to make a full load.
A LOT.
So you're folding for like, forty five minutes. D:
And then you have to fold your parents' underwear... DDDDD: Nooooo.

I'll be more willing to do laundry when its just my laundry. xD But having to deal with dirty clothes (especially underwear and socks) from other people is ick. D:

How have you been? :'DDD
Homgsh you have been missssed. XD

Hey!

I've been doing good, just enjoying the summer... lost a bit of weight too.
At the moment I've been doing a lot of eating out and it's keeping me stuck at 9st (126lbs), but I'll get down to a good-looking weight one day >.>

I start uni a week on Sunday, which is kinda scary XD
How are you doing?

@ Facade - yeah, when you're out of the loop you're not sure where to start chatting...

Elmira Swift 09-08-2009 10:39 PM

Daria - am digging your avatar.

As the sole laundry schlepper for myself, a pre-teen (with bras) and a baby, let's just say that laundry day is a planned event.

I have one more day to see clients and just a few months left before I am finished with cosmo school. I have not - yet - burned, maimed, cut or otherwise harmed any of the clients or students, so it's looking good.

Cherry Who? 09-08-2009 10:45 PM

Woohoo! I'm sure they all appreciate not being burned, maimed, or cut!
So I assume you're doing hair? Or makeup as well?

Elmira Swift 09-08-2009 10:54 PM

The whole she-bang! I've developed an iron will doing pedicures on old codgers. Yep. Can't find a job with a flexible schedule, so I figured why not do hair?? I may have found a place to work, and it's with some people I dig.

What are you up to??

Cherry Who? 09-08-2009 11:08 PM

WILL YOU DO MAH HARR.

I am not up to much. Just distracting myself since the boyfriend works late tonight. Sad. :c Just have to remind myself that the more he works, the more money he gets, the sooner he can come visit me!
And I need to do some mod work anyway, and I never get much of that done when he's around.

Elmira Swift 09-08-2009 11:17 PM

I would love to do your harr! However, you need to see my manikins first. Today, I took one that I'd bleached to a yellow-orange shade so I could color it a pretty coppery red for a project. The stuff we use gets everywhere since we use a bottle to apply it all over. So, she now looks like she has a port wine stain around her face and neck. I had to apply it in one of the sinks since the stands we use for the manikins is placed on the corner without anything protecting the floor. Oddly enough, it turned out the exact shade I was going for, so I felt like it was a success.

Yes. I am anal. ANAL anal ANAL!! about details. Drives everyone nuts in the room :)

Cherry Who? 09-09-2009 01:16 AM

*gigglegiggleanal*

Messy, huh? xD When my mom dyes my hair, it usually doesn't go anywhere but my hair and the back of my beck. But it also takes forever, soo... xD

DariaMorgendorfer 09-09-2009 01:41 AM

Hey thanks Elmira.

Waves to Cherry's thread:)

Elmira Swift 09-09-2009 02:45 AM

Daria - you're welcome!

Cherry - Normally, I never get the stuff everywhere. BUT, I never color hair in the sink! Bad idea!

Oy. The small one has this endless teething thing going on. I think my brain is mush from the screaming and my own lack of sleep. My brain is stuck in two gears - kids and school. Not much room left in the grey matter for anything else. If I disappear... y'all know what's up.

Cherry Who? 09-09-2009 03:03 AM

*waves to Daria's post*

Ouch, sounds awful, Elmira. D:
Some moms say those little vibrating teether things work well. Apparently it helped me way back when, too. Have you tried one of those?

Facade 09-09-2009 03:07 AM

They had vibrating teether rings when you were an infant, Cherry? O:!

[/evilandcruel] :P

<3~

It's funny though, because we're more or less the same age, and yet I never had a vibrating teether ring!
I'm jealous. :[ You should go back in time and like, make your mom tell my mom about them. I really don't think she heard of them. ._. I just had that damn squishy thing...

Cherry Who? 09-09-2009 03:34 AM

I don't think it was a teether ring. It was one of those weird balls with the big rubber nubs on it that vibrate and wiggle around. I just chewed on it. xD
