*Continues her streak of being fashionably late and gets her 'Lamia' on with Cherry and HIM*

Oh, are we sharing muzak?

Facade 05-03-2010 01:16 AM

Do I... Smell... Myoo... Zaaak!?

Oh...I should read the Velveteen Rabbit to Damiana...huh.

HIM_ROCK 05-04-2010 10:41 AM

HIM hasn't read the velveteen rabbit.

Cherry Who? 05-04-2010 05:41 PM

Here's the plot for those that aren't familiar with it.

HIM_ROCK 05-04-2010 05:46 PM

HIM liked the Mousehole cat and the Puddle Lane books.

Cherry Who? 05-04-2010 07:18 PM

I'm not familiar with those. What were they about?

HIM_ROCK 05-04-2010 07:30 PM

The Mousehole cat is about a kitty who goes out with her owner to go fishing during a storm so the village has fish to eat or they'll stalve.

Puddle Lane books were a series of books The Sandalwood Girl was one of them.

Cherry Who? 05-04-2010 08:33 PM

Did they have pictures, or were they for older kids? I love picture books.

HIM_ROCK 05-04-2010 08:34 PM

They were picture books Puddle Lane where in Ladybird format so it was a picture and a couple of lines.

Cherry Who? 05-05-2010 02:49 AM

Ladybird format?

Cardinal Biggles 05-05-2010 03:57 AM

As I recall, Ladybird is a producer of children's books. Like some sort of subdivision of a publishing company? I'm visualizing a little ladybug logo. But that could just be me old mind playing tricks on me again. She's such a tease :insane:

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2010 08:23 AM

Biggles is right. Ladybird publish books for when you're in the early stages of reading.

Cherry Who? 05-05-2010 05:39 PM

Ohh, I see. Yeah, that's the way most of the books I'm talking about are too. I just don't think that publisher is very large in America. That, or I'm just blind.

That picture in your sig looks awesome, by the way. KITTIES.

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2010 05:47 PM

It's from The Mousehole Cat, where the kitty sings to the storm cat to calm it. The strange thing is it's not pronounced how it's spelt with Mousehole you pronounce it more mowsul.

Cherry Who? 05-05-2010 06:13 PM

I thought it might be from one of those. It looks cool. :D

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2010 06:15 PM

My kitty looks stragely like the great storm cat.

Yay brain! *gives brain a cookie*

`Kitami 05-05-2010 11:36 PM

Cherry Who? 05-06-2010 05:40 AM

SO MANY KITTY SIGNATURES ON THIS PAGE.

Well, two. But Kita has "neko" in her signature, so I guess that counts.

ghostPastry 05-06-2010 05:42 AM

Depending on your (and my) randosig's mood, there could be 5 kitty sigs (again, counting Kita) on this page! :O

Cherry Who? 05-06-2010 06:05 AM

I have the urge to refresh until both of our sigs display kitties, but... no.

ghostPastry 05-06-2010 06:08 AM

AUGH, why did you have to mention that?! *refreshes until I get distracted*

edit: hah hah, totally worth it. But DANG, your sig showed cats FOUR TIMES and mine? Not ONCE. I am thinking I need more cats in my sig.

Cardinal Biggles 05-06-2010 10:19 PM

*bites Cherry's hand* Why am I being exiled from the front page?
