<<<<< The Spanish Inquisition definitely has it's merits ^.^
|
Yep.
Oh. Bye, page 1,000. |
@Cherry- It's so neglected. ;_; It took me forever to even get it a proper banner. xD;
ANYways, I'd be willing to make you a banner despite the shop's fullness, because that's how I roll~ |
You know what? Screw it, I'm still in a celebratory mood. Might as well go for the gold...
|
Anna - I don't has the money right now, unfortunately. :gonk:
Biggles - I always wonder how many takes that scene took. It had be hard not to crack up. |
SWEET JESUS, WE ARE OL GREGG!
Yeah, it was wonderfully done. I love Julian's parts of the song. In fact, as great as the episode overall is, I think it's Julian's reactions throughout that really make it work. |
They're both just great actors. And improvers, too! I love all the random banter in the first season. I wish there was more of that in the later seasons.
|
Yes, their banter is the best ^.^ I particularly love the rice/jimmy lasers/vehicle/lighthouse thermal banter in the Muntants episode of the radio series.
I gotta say, I adore them both equally. I mean, Noel is great in that episode. I don't how he is able to maintain that voice throughout... It's just when I first watched it (and by first I mean the first several dozen times. In a row.) I was all "LOLOL OLD GREGG :insane:" But as time went on I realized that Julian was providing the perfect punctuation to Gregg's, um, zaniness. If you can't tell, Gregg was the point of no return for me in my admiration of the Boosh. The first episode I saw was Eels (Yes I started out on Adult Swim. Does that make me a charlatan? :gonk: Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't run into it before that, being the anglophile that I am.) Eels probably isn't the episode one should begin with... My thoughts after watching it were "...What did I just see?" I mean, A green cockney urinating in someone's face. My reaction to that was something along the lines of http://i587.photobucket.com/albums/s...DISCUSSION.jpg But I was glad to see Julian was in it, because I had seen him in Darkplace, and had thought to myself "This guy is good. I wish we could see more of him." So I watched it the next week, and came to the conclusion "OK, this could be interesting." Then after the next week: "HAY THIS IS PRETTY GOOD :D" Enough and too much  I'll let you get back to your individual lives now ^.^ |
Adult Swim is the only place I've ever seen it... I didn't know that was a bad thing. :gonk:
My first full (or rather, mostly full - I missed the first half) episode was the one where they're being impersonated. Seeing as I wasn't familiar with them to begin with, it made it quite a bit confusing. But it left me interested enough to watch it the next time it was on. |
It's not really a bad thing. It's just that it had been around for awhile before it ended up there. Plus, they chopped it all up and started with series three. But mostly that it had been around for a while. I was late to the party....
|
I'm never bothered by being late to the party. Considering most of my favorite things were made before I was even born, I don't have much of a choice.
|
Yeah, its the same for me. It's a novel experience for me to be concurrent with something I love :D
|
Exactly! Whenever I'm following something as it's happening, it's so new and exciting that I barely can handle it.
Like... me during LOST. Oh god. Or the 2008 election. I mean, I always get depressed when a season of House ends. OH GOD I MISS HOUSE. I'm so spoiled by mostly liking old syndicated shows where I can watch an episode every day. |
I agree, it is exciting.
Haha. Gotta love Hugh Laurie. And I must say, it BLEW MY MIND when I finally realized that that the guy playing the Australian doctor is the same guy that played Raphael Arbuthnot in Death in Holy Orders. He's more blonde and gaunt in House. I hope he's eating properly :? |
I can't say I've seen that show, so I didn't get that. The only people I recognize on House are patients, occasionally. Not just the higher profile actors, either. Sometimes it's like "HEY, THAT GUY DID A COMMERCIAL FOR CEREAL!" or something.
|
It was a Masterpiece Mystery! show for PBS. Let me see if I can get the details on it.
here: MYSTERY!: Dalgliesh: Death in Holy Orders and here: Death in Holy Orders (2003) (TV) Gah, I wish they would do more Dalgliesh stories on Mystery! |
BIGGLES!!! *glomps on because they're in a glompy mood*

Is I not Hoffy enough to have me some off, Cherry Flav???? v.v |
Well hello there, Kayxx
Angel, if you are asking why you aren't on the front page yet, it took her months to add me. |
OK. Since she was just updating the front page last night i wondered.
|
I have to say, I'm really glad you've archived the Title quotes on the front page. =D It's like taking a stroll down memory lane.
|
Yep, it's always interesting to see a progression ^.^
|
Angel - Truth be told, I'm probably going to be nixing the regulars list pretty soon, which is why I haven't added you yet. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that at the time, I didn't mean to seem like I was ignoring you!
Guivre - Glad someone noticed that I do that! That's probably one of the things I'll keep in the redesign. I can't really remember to quote all the memorable quotes from the thread on the first page, but the previous subtitles are easy to do. By the way, speaking of redoing the front page... most of the images up on the front page now will be removed. So if there's anything that you guys particularly love or want to keep, you'd best save it now. |
*Runs through* HIM might be getting a Merry to go with HIM's Pippin.
|
Ooooh, yay! Do you know of someone who recently had kittens, or are you going to a shelter?
