Drive is one of the most wondrous things in the world, isn't it? Those sound like good plans. They would make for an excellent foundation. As far as living alone, just get yourself some cardboard cut outs of celebrities and your gold.
So like, in lieu of a birthday present, I give you this. This has provided Ol' Biggles with much amusement over the past few months: Sleep Talkin' Man |
Yeah, but the celebrity cut outs won't protect me when I think every five minutes that someone has broken into my apartment and intends to murder me.
...Oh my, this site is wonderful. Thank you. Good birthday present. I don't know if my boyfriend talks in his sleep or not, but I'm almost sure he does. He sleep walks and sleep... other things. Among other things, he's made a sandwich and put it on the hood of his father's truck, took his pillow case off his pillow and folded it, and I think he tried to put his PS2 in his dresser? According to his mother, sometimes he just gets up and stands in the middle of his room, too. So I'm sure that when I eventually move in with him, I'll have stories similar to these blog posts to report. |
Some people are so cool that way. I'm the only one in the house that doesn't do anything in their sleep, including the cats. I need to kick it up a notch.
EDIT: ACTUALLY! I JUST REMEMBERED! When I was 9, we took a tour of Europe. One night as I slept on the fold out bed in our hotel room on the Italian border, I got up (presumably to go to the bathroom) and made my way to the hotel balcony. When I was questioned as to what I was doing, I replied that I was merely getting some "fresh Swiss air." I then dropped trou and sat at down at the patio set. |
Oh wow. I talked a bit in my sleep when I was a wee lass as well, but I don't think I do anymore.
I actually just asked my boyfriend if he's done any sleep talking. He told me that one time his father found him standing in the kitchen and upon being asked what he was doing, my boyfriend complained that he "just couldn't strike them out." He dreamed that he was a baseball pitcher. He... doesn't even watch baseball. |
Lol. It would appear that it is quite common for things that have no bearing on the sleep talkers life to crop up in their unconscious episodes of acting out.
|
Except for when he went through his sleep-sandwich-making phase. He was eating a lot of sandwiches at the time. I think he's made at least three sandwiches in his sleep.
OH! I just remembered one of the episodes. He made a sandwich, walked into his parents' room, threw it at his dad and left. SleepDaniel apparently really thinks that his father needs a sandwich. |
Happy Birthday, Cherry! :boogie:
*throws you into a wheelbarrow full of birthday tarantulas* |
So he has an interest in sandwiches both during his waking life and his less than waking life? Or did I read that wrong? I feel like there is a fictional character that had a big thing for sandwiches that is just slipping my mind right now (besides Paddington Bear) :/
|
Howdy - Awww, thanks, I-
WAIT, I FUCKING HATE SPIDERS. Biggles - You read it right. He ate lots of sandwiches when awake and made lots when he was asleep. I don't think he's eating them so much anymore, though. That's probably for the best... his idea of a sandwich is bread, mayo, and american cheese... Nothing else. |
BIRTHDAY.. HAPPY. Enjoy it... or else! -chases Cherry with a birthday cake-
|
Nooooo, aaaahhh! :gonk: *runs*
|
-cackles, chases some more- Flink will make you eat cake one of these days!
|
But I'm not a big fan of sweets. :gonk:
So, I wanted to share my favorite band of crazy gypsies with my favorite thread of crazy gypsies. It's been in my head since my mom got me the CD for my birthday. I love Gogol Bordello. |
Man, are you guys that scared of crazy gypsies? :( They're good, I promise!
|
Oh, I watched it. I was distracted by the zooming in and out on the abs, but I watched it.
|
Yeah, the person who uploaded that is a bit graphically challenged.
I hope the music didn't offend your ears! :D |
I've heard worse
Here's one for you. I've posted some of their stuff before, but I can't remember in which thread... |
hallo :)
|
Biggles - Aww, I love Gogol. I got that CD for my birthday and I'm thrilled with it. Possibly moreso than the other CD of theirs that I've had for a while.
Interesting song. But I'm trying to figure out of it's making a statement, being satirical, or being serious... But I can see now why you may not like Gogol. I see your tastes and mine are quite different. Lillian - Hi there! :) |
how are you?
|
Sleepy. I've got to go to bed, actually. Goodnight!
|
There there, Cherry. We still have The Clash
And no, they aren't serious. |
Hello! I like both the songs actually. However, my computer doesn't like videos.
|
Quote:
-rubs hands together malevolently-:twisted: |
Biggles - We'll always have The Clash.
And probably some other bands too, that we don't know we share yet. Fairy - Yay! Someone who enjoys Gogol! Kevin - Space Meat* |
