HIM_ROCK 01-09-2011 10:17 PM

There's a mahoosive back log from all that snow and.....stuff...

Pearl 01-09-2011 10:19 PM

Yeah, I'll bet.

You probably really hate Kindles now!

HIM_ROCK 01-09-2011 10:20 PM

I've got kindles in plaes I never had kindles before ! Hell I've even got kindles on my kindles

Facade 01-09-2011 10:23 PM

Ew... I feel for ya, HIM. :(

Those Kindles on your Kindles must be extra uncomfortable.

HIM_ROCK 01-09-2011 10:25 PM

Yes they are very much so.

Facade 01-09-2011 10:31 PM

If you feel the need to seek vengeance upon someone, feel free to send some Amazon merch my way. :ninja:

P SHERMAN 42 WALLABY WAY, SYDNEY! :illgetu:

Pearl 01-09-2011 10:33 PM

Lulz, I saw that recently. Twas on TV.

I've seen Finding Nemo far more often than either of the old Toy Story-s.

Facade 01-09-2011 10:37 PM

I think I've seen it more often than any Toy Story, too.

I was never big on Toy Story, really. Although I have to say that the second one is better than the first. I've yet to see the third, but that may also be better than the second. :ninja: Who knows!

Pearl 01-09-2011 10:41 PM

I love them all, but my order of preference is 1, 3, 2.

Nemo seems to be on all the time, same with The Incredibles. I think The Incredibles is a better movie, but they're both great. I've just seen them so many times.

I can't wait until the new Pixar in 2012, called "Brave". (Other than Cars 2 this year)

Flink 01-10-2011 12:16 AM

Flink hasn't seen Nemo in years. D: Now she wants to watch the movie.

Cardinal Biggles 01-10-2011 01:44 AM

I don't remember ever seeing a pixar film. I may have, mind, but I just don't remember.

fairywaif 01-10-2011 05:35 AM

I saw an advertisement for Brave. It looks really cool!
Almost all the films I've seen lately were Pixar, actually.

Cardinal Biggles 01-10-2011 05:40 AM

I just came back from the talkies. The only thing that was on was Narnia, so we saw that. T'was alright... not the genre of film I usually go for. And at the end, it was all "hey guess what? Aslan is in your world too." I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, C.S. LEWIS -shakes finger-

Cherry Who? 01-10-2011 08:34 AM

Yeah, I never really got into Narnia. The first book or two were alright, but The Horse and His Boy completely lost my interest (I was 11) and the movies looked... irritating? I'm not sure why, but the previews irritated me. It has nothing to do with the religious undertones/themes, either, that completely aside, something about the way they're handled is just grating to me?

Lord of the Rings was good, though. The movies, at least, I can't say I've read the books. I'm not too big on Fantasy, really. Although I really like the Xanth series. Been a while since I read them, though, I should start back up once I finish Brave New World.

fairywaif 01-10-2011 05:00 PM

I loved the Narnia books when I was younger. I didn't even realise it was a religious thing. Went right over my little head. I loved a Horse and His Boy. My favorite was The Magician's Nephew.

The first movie apparently had a lot of bickering between the children, but the second one was pretty good. I didn't see the first one, being warned off it by my older sister.

Cherry Who? 01-14-2011 07:30 AM

A new video has been added to the "What" post! Behold!

It will never make sense to you.

Cardinal Biggles 01-14-2011 07:41 AM

You underestimate my knowledge of the 'street culture', Cherry :talk2hand:

Cherry Who? 01-14-2011 08:43 AM

But... but... then tell me what happened because why was their car stolen?

Cardinal Biggles 01-14-2011 08:44 AM

They went to the cupboard but the cupboard was bare, so they used some dice to hotwire a car.
It's all very straight forward, my dear.

Cherry Who? 01-14-2011 08:16 PM

That first sentence seems like it's part of a strange children's book.

fairywaif 01-14-2011 08:44 PM

What is "real"? What is not "real"? HOW CAN WE KEEP IT REAL WHEN WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IS REAL!!??!?!?!

Cardinal Biggles 01-14-2011 08:50 PM

@ Cherry: It is
Quote:

Old mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to fetch her poor dog a bone. When she got there the cupboard was bare, so the poor little doggie had none.

Cherry Who? 01-14-2011 10:37 PM

That'll explain it.

Fairy - WHAT IS REAL??? IT'S EXISTENTIAL CRISIS TIME!!!

fairywaif 01-14-2011 10:46 PM

Yes! It's always EXISTENTIAL CRISIS time! But now is a particularly fine time.

Cherry Who? 01-14-2011 10:49 PM

EXISTENTIAL CRISIS TIME! EXISTENTIAL CRISIS TIME!

WOOOOOO! WHY ARE WE HERE?! IS THIS ALL MEANINGLESS?!

I am having entirely too much fun with this. Sorry for going nuts... It's funnier if you could have heard me singing it, which I was in my head.
