But they didn't work!
|
Hm. Actually, I don't know if we ever got the follow through on that... I mean, sure, Mrs. Gideon and the Panda ran away together eventually, as far as actually getting the male panda interested in the lady panda, initially, it did.

The first season was truly glorious.

It was <3
So freshed faced is the phrase that comes to my mind. Have you seen this? A wonderful collision of two of my interests, the other less obvious one being pretty 100 x 100s The Mighty Boosh Icons on Fanpop |
Oh, if you like 100x100s, check this site out. A lot of whiny teen girl stuff, but also some good ones. They also have those teeny tiny AIM icons, though, so be sure you choose "avatars" if you're doing a search or something. They have Boosh.

Aha, exciting. I shall peruse that at my leisure.
This struck me as odd... My first and middle names in one icon... http://www.iconator.com/icon.php?IconID=1037991 |
I reassert my previous implication that you have multiple personalities and are your own boyfriend, best friend, etc.
I knew a girl who had the same first and middle name as me, but switched. |
Cherry:: ...Well, yes, I watched him move. O_o
Was I...not supposed to? |
I was just referencing his frequent screams of "look at me move!"

Google isn't sure what you're referring to, and I'm afraid that neither am I.
Oh, and a bit of pimping... If you guys haven't yet, but are fond of commons, check out my shop in the marketplace. The listings are all ending soon and I don't want to have to relist all of those items again. x_x Also, get fancy. Pimping over. |
Aw, good looking out, Cherrs.
And it's just something from the thing I always quote from >.> |
Ugh, I had nightmares last night. Apparently I'm feeling unsafe in some manner, since all the dreams revolved around that. First this kid/guy was trying to beat me up while I was trying to get back to my house (with, of course, the fear that I wouldn't be able to get inside without also inadvertently letting him in - this is a recurring theme for me), and also I was trying to defend myself with a snow shovel. In the second one my mom and I pulled into the garage and I went inside but things just felt... wrong and unsafe. And I went back out to the garage, and for some reason got back in the car, and we pulled out again. Then there were these GIANT human-sized birds running around. At first it was cool, but then it got creepy. My mom rolled down her window for some reason, and the bird came right over and looked in the window, and I screamed. She rolled it back up, but only a little. Rinse, repeat. The garage door was still open and I was afraid the creepy murder birds were going to get inside the house. Also, I think Big Bird was there. The fuck?
I know, they sound dumb, but trust me, terrifying when you think it's real! |
How did Cherry know about my human sized birds
|
Sorry, I've been sneaking into your secret compound.
|
At least you didn't provoke the flying monkies
|
... Well... about that...
|
Dude, Cherry...was Big Bird trying to kill you? O.o
|
It's really quite possible, Kitami, it is...
|
That's kinda...awesome.
I mean, you know, you could either die of old age, or be murdered by Big Bird. |
Death by Big Bird... Such an honorable way to go.
Any of you Hoffers read any good books lately? |
Not of late per se, but language was a topic of discussion in the Nerds of a Feather thread, and sanskrit came up, prompting me to muse on one of my favourite books, Love in a Dead Language. It's not really about sanskrit, but rather more a take on Lolita, but with a post-pubecent young woman as the object of desire, and the Protagonist a increasingly debased professor of Indian history. It's the format of the book that makes it such an engaging delight, it has to been seen to be understood:
Love in a Dead Language - Google Books |
I'm reading a book called Pick Your Poison by Monona Rossol. :3 It's fascinating!
I had this book about the mutter museum and the catalog of items that were swallowed. The odd part is that it was a boring/difficult read and I couldn't -had no drive- to finish it. *gives Cherry a hoff card* http://wanon.bur.st/TheHoff/42.jpg |
Biggles - Sounds like an interesting book!
Snow - Boo for boring books. :( I'm currently reading So Far... by Kelsey Grammer. It's pretty good so far, but it's not grabbing me. |
Kita is reading The Return of the King. I am half-way through it. I was reading it last year after I finished the first two LotR books, but for some reason, I never finished it. @[email protected]
