Rain non stop. The creek is totally flooded, this rescue worker saved a flock of duckies.

No, lol I wasn't there. The creek is opposite side of town from where I live.
But I would have tried to save the duckies. :angel: I love ducks. I feed those ducks. I was freaking worried about those ducks. I like this funny little spotted one. I call him Bjork. Anyway. This branch or something fell and trapped them by the bank, and then they got sucked into this water vortex (flash flood) and got sucked under a bridge and trapped there. D: So this policeman was helping this woman in a car, and somehow found the ducks and saved them. ; -; It was touching. |
I like duckies as well. I wish ours would just settle down and build their nest already. They've been hemming and hawing.

Aww, that's so cute. There aren't any ducks by me, no bodies of water large enough... But a webcomic artist that I like rescued a baby goose and posted about it on Facebook...? So..?

I feed her kitten formula and keep her in a box lined with an old blanket. She keeps quiet during most of the night, but she's woken me up a few times. It's a really rewarding experience, though.

I love the rain. I wish it wouyld rain more here. It's so hot... And I need to get my air conditioning fixed. :( ---------- It's summer here already, if you hadn't guessed. Stupid Florida and it's two seasons. Hot and tolerable. |

Yeah. we actually get quite a bit of the rain when it's rainy season, but we're in a drought right now. And it's cooler in Washington. :( I think it's like 60 or something over there. Or as we called it when I live in Michigan "Almost-shorts-weather".
