Cardinal Biggles 05-02-2011 08:56 PM

Ah of course. That makes good sense.

HIM_ROCK 05-02-2011 08:56 PM

Kita shall never kn who HIM is....Crap HIM's linked to it with HIM's website.

`Kitami 05-02-2011 09:22 PM

Biggles:: -nods- I've wanted a beta for a long time, but I've always had a handful (or more) of cats, so I felt like I'd be giving the fish a death sentence. I had a lot of fish in a tank until last summer though, and the cats never got them...

HIM::  Yeah, and besides someone new was watching me, so I just guessed it was you.

Cherry Who? 05-02-2011 09:56 PM

Bahaha, I found HIM too! You have some nice photographs, HIM. :)

`Kitami 05-02-2011 10:10 PM

Kita likes the ladybugs and the foxgloves.

Cardinal Biggles 05-03-2011 02:01 AM

I had a beta for several years while also having two cats (and a dog, but that's not relevant) Only one was fascinated by the beta, and he did take really pains to get at it. We wired the bowl to the hutch it sat on and put a makeshift lid of sorts over it, and one morning he still managed to knock it over; he must have put all his weight and energy into butting it off the counter. The bowl broke but the fish survived. One of only a few of his brushes with death. He was a tough little bugger.

HIM_ROCK 05-04-2011 09:03 PM

May the fourth be with you Hoffers

`Kitami 05-05-2011 06:55 AM

May the 4th be with you too, Luke HIM.

Biggles:: Haha. Super Beta!

Cardinal Biggles 05-05-2011 07:06 AM

he really was! The number of times he nearly reverse-drowned, gosh...

`Kitami 05-05-2011 02:40 PM

Lol yeah we had a big calico goldfish who jumped like that.

fairywaif 05-05-2011 06:29 PM

Reverse drowned. Never heard it put quite that way. I like it!

Woot, done with exams! Yeah!

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2011 07:27 PM

HIM's somehow managed to get HIM a job starting in September.

fairywaif 05-05-2011 07:33 PM

Yay! I'm so glad. Money is always a good thing. What kind of job is it?

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2011 07:38 PM

It's a one day a week dinner ladying job and possibly relief dinner lady if anyone's off ill.

fairywaif 05-05-2011 07:57 PM

Dinner ladying? Is that a waitress? If so, I think I much prefer dinner ladying. It sounds classy!

`Kitami 05-05-2011 07:58 PM

Good for you, HIM. ^^
That sounds like an okay job.

Cardinal Biggles 05-05-2011 07:59 PM

Congratulations to both Fairy and HIM! :D

fairywaif 05-05-2011 08:01 PM

Yes! Now summer can begin...although I might be working. Or taking Pre-calc. Or possibly both.

`Kitami 05-05-2011 08:04 PM

(I forgot this earlier lol)
Congrats on finishing exams, fairy!

Ew pre-calc? Kita hates advanced math. -__-;

Cardinal Biggles 05-05-2011 08:06 PM

Work and pre-calc? Blah.
I'm looking forward to my friend Sarah finishing her exams. It's been so long since we got to spend a lengthy amount of time together.

HIM_ROCK 05-05-2011 08:14 PM

HIM's gonna be serving din-dins to kiddy winks in nurserary

fairywaif 05-05-2011 08:17 PM

I have to take up to calc I if I want to go and graduate from the college I want to go to. They apparently expect me to the be the renaissance woman. Why can't I just be good at the writing and the reading and the science!

----------

Ah, kids. So cute. Until they kick you in the shins. Or swarm you with requests for questions you can't answer.

Cardinal Biggles 05-05-2011 08:23 PM

I'm not sure, Fairy, those are the only things you will really need. And maybe the arts and the history. Those are good too.

fairywaif 05-05-2011 08:38 PM

That's what I think but apparently I have to know Calculus too. I just hope I actually end up using it.

`Kitami 05-05-2011 09:50 PM

Calculus seems (to me) like it would be rather difficult. D:
