I must admit, I read "hit on" as just "hit". So, less grievous, more awkward.

Aw, we've been um.... an equivalent of the word of "lusting" but one that can't be construed the wrong way... after the thought of owning chickens, and the some adorable chickies that are for sale near by, for a while now. We have an old dilapidated coop and everything. How exciting, I bet it's going to be loads of fun! Do you know what variety yet? |

I watched the fireworks the people down the street shot off but I didn't go out of my way for it. They scared my cats though. |

Biggles - My mom's got her eye on a few different breeds, so it'll mostly come down to which of them is available to us. We're looking at pretty standard, popular breeds for winter hardiness and friendliness. I fully plan on making these chickens my pets. :lol: We're going to get just two to start with, and I get to name one Billina. |

Chickens are pretty cool, as long as they don't peck you. It's always funny to me when I see chickens in residential neighborhoods. |
They'll be in a residential neighborhood all right. :lol: I'm a bit worried about cats getting to them, but the chickens will be locked up safe at night, so it shouldn't be an issue.

HIM's great uncle has chickens they're call Lunch, Dinner and Supper.
Rehomed battery hens are the best chuck-chucks they've come to the "end" of their laying life but they can lay 2 eggs a day. |
I think my cats would freak out if they saw a chicken. Well, at least Sasha would.

The Lauri kitten has discovered his tail attempts to catch it have resulted in falling off alot of things.

We had a rooster named Rufus when we first moved here, wandering around the property as he was. Then the Racoons got him. Sigh. |
