The cosplay isn't perfect, but it's the best I was able to do. I tried Quina first, but I just couldn't do it in a way that looked good. Our chef has is too tiny and doesn't sit on a bald head, not to mention his/her outfit is just difficult to duplicate here. Disappointing, though, since I'd been wanting to do a Quina cosplay ever since the giant pink tongue came out. And the giant spork just kind of begs for the cosplay, you know. |
That "reminds" me that I should "hunt" down all the Final Fantasy games "we" have in our house and finally "finish" them... I also "find" your Cosplay very well "done", so don't "worry" about it!

Which ones do you have? I have 7 through 10-2 (why isn't it called 11? Ugh). I'm not so big on 10 and 10-2, though. I mean, they're nice, but the difference between them and the previous ones are so jarring that it just kind of disappointed me. Totally different "feel."

Nurse will come back, but right now I'm playing FF9, so I wanted to cosplay something from it. The Nurse is in my closet thread in the AC subforum, though.

Cherry - Let's see...I have the third on the DS and the seventh, the eight, the nineth and the tenth in their original Playstation state, though I feel the same way you do about Final Fantasy 10... and I have absolutely no idea of what the games after those are about XD!

10-2 is a direct sequel to 10, but it focuses on Yuna rather than the blonde dude. 7-9 are my favorites. :) I haven't played 3-6, but I have the first for NES. My NES barely works, though, so I've not played it much.

Well, in complete fairness, the console was originally my mom's. She played video games a lot then, so she got a NES and a SNES. As a result, I have a ton of awesome RPGs. :D Some of my favorites are The Seventh Saga and Secret of Evermore. I just really wish the latter had turn based battles like the Seventh Saga and Final Fantasy do. I so often get killed just because I got swarmed by five enemies at once and it's so difficult to cast "magic" quickly.

Aww, you should get a SNES! It has some really fantastic games. And unlike the N64 and PS1, they weren't trying to do the 3D thing, so you don't have ugly pointy rendered shit. It's all pixelled, for the most part (as in the way our avatars are, not as in 8 bit). I could recommend some good "games," too. :D Agh, now I'm wanting to play a bunch of SNES games. Must finish FF9 first! I've played all my FFs a million times, but I've never finished one. I get ridiculously close and then just lose interest. |

The "problem" is that they don't "make" these "games" and "consoles" anymore, so I feel like it's "pointless" :s... I "do" the same thing! I swear I was on the very "last" boss of FF9 before I started "over" again! I was near the "end" of FF8, too... |
How is it pointless? A game doesn't have to be new to enjoy it. You can get the console and games pretty cheap, too. Or if you prefer, plenty of old SNES "games" are available for purchase on the Wii, as a download. If you have a Wii, that is,

It's not too hard to find copies of most SNES games. :) But yeah, some titles are available for the wii, but I'm really not sure which ones. But if you feel like doing some browsing, here are some of my favorites. I'll link to their wiki pages so you can see if they're right for you.
Donkey Kong Country Donkey Kong Country 2 (doesn't matter at all if you've played the first) The Seventh Saga Secret of Evermore Link to the Past Donkey Kong Country 2 is my absolute favorite, though. I'd recommend that one the highest. :) |
