It's hot out but... no a/c installed anywhere. We could get a window unit but I like using the windows as windows and not a/c frames.

Not in houses. Some shops, maybe. We are more used to central heating. Radiator love:heart:

We just live on the coast. It just gets stuffy, if we get a breeze going it's usually not so bad on the warm days.

We do have a heater though. It gets COLD sometimes! Especially at night.

I'd think that if you had central heating, though, it wouldn't be as big of a job to hook central air up to the ducts as it would be if you had no ductwork at all. Of course, it'd still be expensive. :( Just not as expensive.

No, the heat isn't central. It's like a radiator thing on the wall between the living room and the bedroom. So a little bit of the heat gets into the bedroom too.

Yesterday and the day before we had a warm breeze which is really weird and rare. Today it's gone cold, the breeze. But cool breeze is good when you are in direct sun, if it's hot.

My apartment doesn't hold air conditioning well though, so I just load up on mini-fans...

HIM's recharging point is at the front of the house upstairs so it ends up being even hotter.

Hammy don't you have those swamp cooler things? I had never seen one before my first trip in the desert and I was just like "wtf IS that?!" xD

Oog, yeah, attics can be even hotter than outside! I had to go upstairs yesterday to get something and it felt like death up there.

Yeah, it's supposed to cool and inject humidity because it's so dry out there. Whereas a regular a/c removes humidity.

Oh ahaha yeah I used to have one, leaky as hell though. It's basically a window fan that you pour water into.

I swear the heat doesn't even get to the loft it just stays in the front bedroom to torment me.


Can I get a giant version of one of those ice packs you can get for small animals so they don't over heat.
