Of cards? How does that work?

General Lee Outrageous 06-09-2008 02:54 AM

Six playing cards (more if you want pockets) held together and protected by clear packing tape. It's pretty cool.

BTW: I made a new club. Show some luff!

tentenpuff 06-09-2008 03:21 AM

Oh, I have a friend who loves making stuff out of... stuff. >>;
He made a ring out of a dollar bill, he has a duct tape wallet...

I haven't seen him in a long time, and I don't know him as well as I do my other friends, so I don't know what else he can make, though. >>;

I think it's pretty cool how people can make nifty things AND save the world!
:'DDD

*continues to chase after* But if you get famous then I can sell your autograph for millions and give you some!!

...Wait, you'd give me a cut? >_> *sign*

I'll PM you shortly... I have the PDF (which I purchased legally) for Blue Rose. XD You can look it over and see what you think! (And it has illustrations from Stephanie Pui-Mun Law!)

I adore Pierce's books... She's going to be at Dragon*Con, Atlanta this year! I freaked out. XD I had already planned to go, but now I have to. :cry:

Mercedes Lackey... She's really good too. She needs better editors, though. Seriously. Don't contradict yourself on the same page. @[email protected]; That's just shoddy! (I won't even get into the plentiful typos. A half-decent editor would catch those.)

For a second, I thought you were talking about on Menewsha. >_> I was a bit bemused. XD;

Yes! I would have no hope of keeping up with this thread otherwise. >_>

Pants:
- Is it hot? (shorts vs not)
- What do I have clean?
- Do I need to impress someone? (torn vs not)
- Am I doing something important? (slacks or not)

Shirt:
- Is this clean?
- What is easiest to grab? (In order of easiness (Top of pile, Bottom of pile, Farther pile, Drawer, Dryer)
- Will this shirt offend anyone?
- Is it cold? (long sleeved vs short sleeved)

Shoes:
-Am I wearing slacks? (sneakers vs dress shoes)

Non-visible clothing (undershirt, socks, boxers)
- Is this clean?

EDIT: Also, all we have is non-speedos. Only gay people, swimming athletes (see 1), and body builders (see 1) wear speedos.

LOL. That is A+ right there. :3 (I get dressed like a man half the time. >_>)

And in reply to your edit - also add "Europeans" to that. XD

I don't! I hear it's very ghetto in Atlanta currently. XD And no other Six Flags is particularly close to me. XD (The one in Texas is the next closest. But Atlanta's is only two hours away so...)

Kukon 06-09-2008 03:40 AM

Allo Tenten!

General Lee Outrageous 06-09-2008 03:41 AM

XX= Roman numeral for 20, or Ten Ten

I always thought you were referring to someone else. xD;
I was wondering why CK would need a thread machete.

Actually, why would I need a thread machete? o0;
What is a thread machete anyway? >>;

You're smart, right? Maybe you can help me figure out why I'm so confused. xD;;

Kukon 06-09-2008 03:48 AM

Machetes cut through thick plants when exploring. It helps you get un-lost. A thread machete gets you un-lost in a thread.

tentenpuff 06-09-2008 03:51 AM

@ Kukon:
xDD

I'm confused about what CK said after her first quoted ... sentencey... line of words... er.

I'm confused about what CK first said. xD;;

And I WAS confused about why I would need a thread machete, but now I get it!

Someone's been reading too much romance.

Actually, I read too much romance. I also abuse using italics... >>;
But you know what? I'm not reading romance ATM! It HAS romance in it, but it's mostly themed about a girl and her job.
And she does not love her job that way. In fact, I don't think she loves her job, period. >>;

@ generally outrageous:

Of course you'd get a cut!

*happily starts reading pdf* xD I've read more than half of their "suggested reading". You'll probably get a PM from me about my thoughts once I've had a chance to read though it. ^^

Ahhh.. I'm so jealous you can go to Dragon*Con then! I'm all the way up here in Ct and I doubt that anyone cool is coming to CTcon. And I read Lackey's books so long ago and at such a rapid pace that I didn't notice those things at the time.
