Leon nodded, hoping that being there would make Ashley feel better. "Don't worry, Ashley. Everything will be okay..." Leon blinked at Ada and looked confused for a moment. "Find...her? What're you talking about?"

"Well..." Ada took a deep breath. "Shewasn'texactlydeadandsheranoutafteryoubutcouldn 'tfindyousosheranoffFARTHERandnowIdon'tknow wheresheis--'
"...I'm right here."

A small voice came from behind the door, and she peeked at everybody.

Ashley squirmed...and Ada pressed the button.

Suddenly the room was filled with screams again.

Leon stared at Ada...up until he heard the voice. Once he heard that, he pretty much launched himself at her and gave her hugs and kisses until well after the screaming from the president's daughter stopped. He had NEVER felt so empty before the previous event...and he'd probably never been this happy. If memory served, anyway. It was better than escaping Raccoon City...better than if he'd managed that with a thousand other survivors. Better than...than...he didn't know what it was better than, but it was damned good.

He managed to choke out "...I thought you'd died..." before practically molesting her even more. Screw anybody else who was in the room. Was anyone there? Leon didn't know anymore. Or care. There weren't any noises to indicate so, so apparently not.

Akurin kissed and hugged and cuddled and licked him back. Her hands worked at his tactical vest, and she honestly didn't know what to think. She wanted to cry from happiness, she wanted to laugh and she wanted to lavish the other with sexual favors.

Ada quickly rushed Ashley out of the chair and...outside. She didn't want the poor young girl to be scarred by all of this.

Leon peeked out the door cautiously. "Uh...Ada?" He thought for a moment of what to say. "...it's safe to come in now? ..." He checked his hair in his reflection on the door and brushed it with his fingers. How had his hair gotten so MESSY? "...yeah....we still have one person to take care of, you know."

Ada blinked at him, shaking her head.

"Did you have fun? You certainly were loud enough...."

Ashley had fallen asleep leaning against a pile of cardboard.

Akurin fixed her hair as well, adjusting her skirt and looking around.

"So....where to, Leon?"

Leon grinned at Ada, then rubbed the back of his head. "Well, yeah, I did have fun." And then to Akurin. "...well, like I said...there's one more parasite to eliminate. We never took care of mine." He went and sat in the chair before anybody could say anything else and blinked...wondering idly how Akurin OR Ashley could've sat in this thing without nearly wetting themselves from how intimidating it was.

Akurin and Ada both sent Leon reassuring smiles, and Ada pressed the button.

Akurin couldn't stand too close, due to the fact the lasers weren't all that forgiving. Her hands clasped together as Leon was held in by the shackles. Ada watched, a bit nervous. She didn't want Leon to die like Akurin had for a few minutes.

Leon grinned to them as reassuringly as they'd been to him. "Everything'll be fine..."

He didn't seem surprised when the shackles closed around his hands, but he WAS surprised by how much it FUCKING HURT. It took a lot of effort to NOT open his mouth and scream like he was being torn apart from the inside out at a slow and LAZY pace. He was already having problems breathing and near the end of the laser-y onslaught, he passed out, dropping back into the chair limply as Akurin had. He wasn't dead...just...unconscious.

Akurin clasped hands moved up in front of her mouth, and as soon as the lasers were done, she ran to his side and tilted his head up, making sure he was alright. She wrapped her arms around him, sighing heavily. He still had a pulse.

Ada looked out into the corridor, as Ashley walked in.

"So, uh....did Leon get his parasite taken care of?"

Leon didn't move for a long while. He was hardly breathing, either, and it took him a few minutes to slip back into consciousness. When he did, however, he brought a hand up to Akurin's shoulder, petting her hair slightly.

"...G'mornin', sunshine..."

Akurin smiled at the sweet gesture, whispering something new to the other. Something he'd have to strain to hear. Three little words.

"...we should go." She said, her voice shaking a bit. It was a bit obvious she had wanted to say something else, but she didn't think it'd be wise. She blinked at Leon, suddenly standing up and looking around.

"I'm going to go scout out the area for enemies before we all get going. Okay? You rest here, Leon." She kissed his temples before walking out. Ada took this moment to yawn and reload her guns and Ashley fixed her hair.

Leon blinked. He wondered what she had wanted to say to him...was it possibly what he'd wanted to say to HER? When she backed off, he sighed--almost imperceptibly--and sat up, grimacing and groaning painfully as he did and flopping back into the chair.

"...be careful, Akurin." Leon looked over at Ada and Ashley, blinking blearily, wondering if the fact that they looked a bit fuzzy was due to the headache, his ears ringing or the fact that he was going blind.

Ada blinked at the male and tossed him a green herb, offering him a nervous smile.

He didn't look so good, but that was expected after the torture the parasite had put him through. Ashley went over a leaned her head onto Leon's knee, sighing. It wasn't a romantic gesture, really. Just a 'I'm tired, I can't wait to get home' gesture.

Leon gratefully used the herb, head lolling to the side slightly. He was kind of tired himself...he'd been up a VERY long time now...he needed rest of some kind. He even tolerated Ashley's head on his knee without making any kind of fit or complaint. In fact, he honestly felt the same way. He couldn't wait to get home. Especially with Akurin in tow...he reflected on how he'd left his two bed, two bath house...one room was a computer/exercise equipment room at the moment, but if she wanted to move in with him, he could fix that...the computer could go into the living room and the exercise equipment into either his room or, again, the living room...he was already planning on where he'd move things to if she wanted to move in. The thought excited him and made him want to move and get home, but he couldn't in his current state...not for a few minutes, at least.

Something loud hit a wall in the hallway, a hiss and then silence.

Ada jumped up, made a movement for Ashley and Leon to stay there, and ran out into the hallway. Ada was not pleased with what she saw. Stuck to the floor, was a piece of Saddler's clothing. And nowhere in sight was Akurin. Ada swore under her breath and turned on her heels, walking into the room.

"It looks like Akurin's Daddy decided that it wasn't time for her to be free yet."

Leon jumped when he'd heard the noise in the hallway. His heartbeat went from a calm pace to feeling like the vibrations from a herd of stampeding horses in seconds and he found it hard to follow Ada's "don't move" command. When she came back and delivered her news, Leon nearly fell out of the chair. He did stagger to his feet, however, and move towards the door. He fell over halfway there, struggled to stand again, and just...SAT there, on his hands and knees, staring at the door.

"...we have to get her back." He shook his head to try to clear the haze that was slowly covering it like a thin blanket. "...we can't leave her..."

Ada blinked, grabbing Leon and trying to hold him place.

"You can't do anything in this state, Leon. You should go sleep."

Ada laid him back onto a pile of cardboard and handed him a blanket.

Ashley would curl up next to him, and hold him there, so he wouldn't exert himself.

Leon shook his head for a while and attempted to sit up, but it seemed he really wasn't going anywhere for a while, even if he could force himself to move. After a few minutes of angry, incoherent whining about it, he finally fell asleep, wishing it was Akurin and not Ashley next to him.

Ada watched the two asleep and fingered a pendant around her neck. The Los Illuminados pendant she had found. She knew what it had meant. Saddler had known what it had meant. It would be quite easy for Ada to go now, find her and kill Saddler. But, she shook her head and decided not to.

Ada decided, after sitting quietly for about seven hours, that it would be time to wake the two up.

"C'mon! Wake up!"

Ashley gave a slight annoyed sound, burying her face farther into Leon's neck and trying to settle back down to sleep.

Leon woke up with a start when Ada shouted. He looked around, panicking, wondering where he was--and then he remembered. He went to jump up--and noticed Ashley leaning on him. He shook her slightly. "ASHLEY. WAKE UP." He needed to find Akurin. NOW. "WE NEED TO GO."

Ada blinked at Leon.

"Calm down, jeez. I'm sure she's fine right now, Leon."

Ashley groaned, moving herself off of Leon and rubbing her eyes.

"What's wrong?" She mumbled, looking tiredly up at the male.

Ada had taken the time to reload all of Leon's guns and sharpen his knife while she was at it.

Ashley stood up blearily, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

Leon growled and stood up as soon as he was free to move. "They have Akurin again. I know she's fine right now...I'm worried about when they put another parasite into her and marry her off to Saddler!"

He spotted what Ada had done for him and thought for a moment before saying "thank you, Ada," and then went to re-pack all of it. He waited a moment, then looked at the two women and sighed. "...are we ready to go?"

Ashley sighed heavily and brushed herself off before looking at Leon.

"Why can't we just go on without her? I mean, she's just another burden."

Ashley's voice was tinged with annoyance, partially because the dirt on the floor had left a mark up the back of her leg.

Ada blinked and shook her head.

"I'm ready. I don't care if she's ready. I'll drug her if I have to."

With that, Ada snagged a bottle of some sort of sleep medication off the desk and looked over at Ashley, who went a pale color of gray.

"I'm ready."

Leon glared at Ashley after that statement. "She's been helping me look for you. She can use a gun...is a decent shot, in fact. She can--and will--carry things that are important or needed. She's NOT 'just another burden.'" He nodded to Ada and brushed his pants off for a moment before checking outside the doors and then just heading off and hoping that they were following him. "...we're off to see the wizard..."

...he couldn't help but say that for some unknown reason.
