Heartbeat cover sketch
 

This is just an anatomy exercise that turned into a sketch that turned into a sketch of an idea I had as the cover of a new manga I might do for fun.

The girl's name is Sarah and she is the main character and the guy is her best friend Hal who happens to be a Ghoul XD. *explaining the ears*

I want to apologize in advance if the guy seems...off (as well as the hands). I'm still not very good at male characters or hands but I'm working hard and am determined to improve. *looks off into the distance resolutely* :sweat: Anyways hope you enjoy it!

The last part of the title is a bit slanted.

The boy's neck seems too long and thick. And his shoulders seem a bit narrow, but I'm not too sure about that.

The boy's pants could use a few folds, especially the shorter sleeve-thing. o_o What do you call that part of pants anyways? Legs? Sleeves? D8;

And he could use a knee. It could be just me, but one leg seems longer than the other as well.

And the top part of the shoe seems to be sticking up too much.

And a few lines are a little crooked, but I presume that you'll edit that when you ink?

Oh, and his hands seem a little too tense for his position and facial expression.

*shuts up now* XD

I knew I screwed him up XD Really I didn't add him until later when I felt it was a little too plain and ended up making things worse! lol. Another sketch gone bad I guess.... into the scrap book for now...

xD Nah, don't worry. A lot of people have issues with men. God knows how those yaoi artists do it!

haha I know! Perhaps I should start trying to do guys more often for a while. You know work on my proportions and stuff like that? Thank you for your comments, they're much appreciated. XD
