So, basically! Being sick is the suck.
x[ I had when people pry into your business just needing to know why you weren't at school. It's almost like "Um, who are you and why do you need to know why I wasn't at school?! o_O;" Edit: [ •Lanter Fish• ]: Yea, I'm fine. I'm doing a little bit better. It was a mixture of my allergies + a sore throat. Not the worst of illnesses but it still wasn't very enjoyable to have. I'm taking this spray thing that helps sore throats and clear your noses. Hopefully I wont be as itchy and watery eyed as I was a few days ago. I'm still a bit week but I'm still going to school since my principal will hunt me down if I don't and I don't wanna miss anymore school. p: A day may be good but I'd hate to take off more than that. |
Your principal checks up on you?
Well, that's rather creepy. It's nice to be sick sometimes though, you have a day off of school and then you can do lots of things. If you ever get better from your illness, and your parents aren't home to boss you around you could always do what you want. That's what I do. |

Being sick

I can't think of anything positive about being sick.
I go to internet school, so unless I've been hospitalized there really is no getting out of it. I can work from bed. XD I had a runny nose yesterday... now I have icky crap all over my nose. Uhg. Unpleasant. |

It depends on what you're sick with. I was sick with the stomach flu quite a few times and let me tell you: it sucked balls. I was throwing up all the time and when I had nothing left to vomit, my body started squeezing my stomach harder and harder--juicing me. Not only that, but the only thing I tasted in my mouth was chyme. Eeeew. There was all this painful chaos in my lower body (mainly the intestines).
Not good at all. Not worth it. Regular sicknesses are fine with me, but stuff like stomach flu is awful. |

Actually, I'm sick right now. Stuffy nose and some sinus problems, so I sound funny when I talk.
Good things? Apparently stuffy nose speech sounds cute to my boyfriend, and he likes to baby me and get me things to help get me well. Getting out of school is nice, but only High school, college not so much. I went to a final with a fever because there was no way I could miss it, I'd fail the class if I didn't. Getting out of school is nice, but only High school, college not so much. I went to a final with a fever because there was no way I could miss it, I'd fail the class if I didn't. Bad things? Having to blow my nose every 5 minutes, having that huge HOOONK noise that makes people stare at me funny, as if they don't honk when they blow their own nose. |

So does my boyfriend but he's more of a baby with a horrible addiction to Halo and Guitar Hero. I hate being in school while I'm sick, I had a friend of mine actually throw up after the big test we had. She had a stomach virus and couldn't really focus but couldn't risk getting a bad test grade. I don't like blowing my nose, I try to suck it all up as disgusting as that sounds. I just find blowing my nose in public places rude and I only do it at home. |
