Yet another New person
Hello Menewsha! I've been wandering around the forums a bit, but it seems that if I ever want something to wear over my underwear I ought to post a bit, so here I am.
I joined today out of curiosity. I'm an active member of GaiaOnline and I absolutely love it, but I thought I would check this site out because the pretty art lured me in. I already like my avatar and she's already beginning to develop a personality for herself. I'll probably have to draw her before the week is done, since she's so cute. I hope to make some good friends here as I have in my guilds on Gaia. I love to meet new people, especially new people who are literate, and these forums are so nice and spam free. I've become afraid to venture outside my guild on Gaia for fear of being ambushed by an 'omgwtfbbqhaxlol' or some other such gibberish. I look forward to exploring this site some more and learning more about the community. I've already noticed that the donation items have a story behind them, so I am trying to find out more about the storyline in the site in general. Any back story links would be appreciated, because I love to follow the plot. (I am sad that Gaia has mostly discontinued their storyline as of late and look forward to them reinstating it.) Are there any particular characters or people I should get to know? Anyway, I just thought I should say hello, so now I shall return to wandering the forums. Thank you for stopping by! |

You'll soon find that a lot of us here came originally from Gaia looking for a smaller and closer community. And I totally agree that the art here is beautiful! It's easy enough to make friends here too! Just jump into the conversation in a hangout or even start your own to meet new people. The plotline here is just beginning, but a good place to start might be the manga that is linked up top. Skimming some of the plot-related announcements might also help you too. A lot of the plot seems to be revealed during events in the event forums. Those are locked, but you can read them in the "memorable threads" section. Anyway, see you around and have fun! |
Thank you for your tips on where to look for plot related information. I'm glad I haven't missed much if it is just getting going. Where can I find the manga at?

Hello there Ayaji, welcome to Menewsha! I like the art here too, and there are also plenty of talented artists offering avi art. I'd love to see your work too, and maybe you can open up a shop for commissions and earn a bit of gold. ^ _ ^ The manga is currently down, but the link to it is on the blue toolbar at the top of the forums. Be sure to check out the Memorable Threads forum too for archived event threads with NPCs and stories about Menewsha's history and developing plot. I would love to sell avatar art, but I have a bit of an attention span problem, so I don't get artwork finished in any reasonable time span. I'll keep an eye out for you in the forums though and stop by to say hello^^

Hahaha I have that same problem. XD;; If I'm not really into something, I can drag it out for weeks lolol. I really like that abstract emotion painting. :) |
Thank you! I had a lot of fun doing that one, and I've designed a couple more like it, but I never painted them. I did color one in crayon though, it just never made it out of the sketch book xD
