Name my dog!
Alright, so I just got this dog.
It's a miniature Ameican Eskimo dog, http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...-8&sa=N&tab=wi So she's white and fluffy, small, and very pretty. She's ten years old, we got HER from the human society, and her left front leg is missing. She hops around as though she were a puppy, and she's really very cute. n.n My dearest father want's to name her 'Tripod' or 'Gimpy'. e_e Mene, what do you suggest? Discuss: Dog names, pet names, what should I name my dog? |
Aww! :33 Heh, I got too into this, and I started looking up some names... and I found Eskimo names for your American ESKIMO dog. xD I don't know about them though... Sesi - snow Sakari - sweet Qannik - snowflake I named my dog Ruby...without much meaning. My mom didn't want a dog but we surprised her with one, and she liked the name Ruby so we had to please her. 8D Well, good luck on naming your doggy [: |
I know how that is. The only way I was able to keep my kitty was by letting my mom name her 'Jenny Any Dots' from the play Cats. e_e
I've got to run the names by my family, so I won't come to any desicions tonight, but eskimo names, how cute! n.n |
You could call him Esky, either a shortened form of Eskimo or what they call those ice-boxy thermal things in Australia xD

How about Trinity? Means "threefold", and you get "tri" from one of your dad's suggestions XD It's a nice name, methinks... *nods* Also, if you like the Matrix films.... ;) |

I have a miniature eskie, I named him "Inari" after the Japanese white fox spirit, it seemed to suit him well as he looks like a lil white fox anyway!

i don't really know there are so many diffrent names out there. there are always the normal names like shadow (my dogs name) or like dakota or some thing but then there's the other names that aren't so normal like rex or something like that. but any ways i'm basically saying that im going to be practically no help nameing your dog....but atleast i gave you some idears::?:

I've been sort of thinking about calling her Puka, like, a puka shell.. (sp on puka?) The back of her ears is sort fo a cream color, teh rest of her is white, like a little puka shell. n.n And her ears the insides are pink and the edges and her fae are all whie, and her eyes and nose are black, she's just so cute! My little three legged critter! <3 And she's playful! She'll play fetch, and she'll go on her hindlegs and she'll come and sit and lay down and and and...! XD <3 |

I used to have a Pomeranian-Eskimo Spitz. But she died from Parvo. Anyway, her name was Pipa. (Pip-uhh) XD She was really mean though... |

Awww, your daddie's a meanie! x' D Well I was thinking alasakan names as well, at first I saw Nanuk, which means polar bear. I thought it was pretty cute, except it's a masculine name. x' P Since I couldn't find the feminine variation, I chose a few other names, from all over. `neige ` flåsa ` vippa ` hiela ` rikka ` Naida :: Believed to be derived from a word meaning water nymphs, which tend to be playful, yet the name (like the being) is elegant ( I like this one for her personality and age) `Ayla (I really like this one for her personality) |
I do not know about any names for your dog. D': I was three when I got my cat and just gave him my last name. xDD;; Morris the cat. I later find out there was a kitty on TV named that. 8D;; He was orange. So was my kitty! But mine was fat. =0=;; <3 My brother might be getting a dog. I am just going to nick name it Banana Fart.
