Yeah, tourettes isn't a fun thing. I watched a documentary on it, it's quite sad. Some people have the sort of tics where they have to yell out random things; even in the middle of conversation. Others have the urge to constantly move their head. A one little girl always had to push in on her stomach. It's basically a thing where you have this tic and it's pretty involuntary; so you HAVE to do it. It's like obsessive compulsive disorder. I used to have it when I was little. I always had to flip my fingers back so they would touch the center of my palm. I remember my teacher yelling at me for it. She held my hands and I remember screaming because I had to fight that urge; which was VERRRRY hard, like it almost drove me crazy. The teacher got into trouble for what she did. >___< And now lately it's been coming back. I have that urge once in awhile to snap my fingers back to touch the center of my palm. And now this thing with looking hard to the right. Which strains my eyes, but I just do it anyways. ;~; |

I don't know. I've never researched that. Although, since it's coming back, I might assume so. I'm not too sure. Check out this documentary on tourettes. You can actually see it happened to the kids while they talk about it. ;~;

Ahh wow... that's really sad. I feel bad for some of the really bad, more noticable and annoying? I guess, cases... like the always shaking the head around. But wow :(

creps - it is sad. I'm glad my case isn't severe. People usually don't even notice mine. So I'm one of the lucky ones. I try and keep myself distracted, it helps me from doing it; so I'm pretty good about it. I still have to go see a doctor about it on Wednesday though. Otherwise, I could really strain my eyes and cause damage. >___< |
