I'm checking out Roliana...but I think it's users tend to be even younger than Mene's. I don't know if I can get use to Roli, not to mention I have a lot of fondness for the way mene works. Especially your inventory.

I've tried multiple times to get into Roli. So far no luck. I think it's more or less that the community is very slow, you don't get a lot of gold for playing their games, and then the items are kind of expensive. : /

I get ignored on Roli and I think the avatars look silly. So that's my excuse.

I can relate to the whole slow + expensive part.
I also find Roli's forums disorganized. ^^; So I find it hard to navigate about. It's hard to earn gold there. O_o And... I like it better here! XD |

Yah some of the stuff on Roli is kinda silly...or like what the hell. It seems to be overrun by teens/tweens. (Even though you're suppose to be 13 to sign up...) I like the community we have at mene as it seems more diverse, grown up. Hubby was like but Roli has twice as many people...Quality, not quantity.

Anatomical proportions matter to me. Roli didn't have that. But the art and some concepts they have are rather pretty. D: But... the overrunned bit? No thank you. I'll stay here. T_T Dun want to run into stupid people. If I wanted a share of stupid people, I'd stay off the PC and just live normally. There's a lot of there where I'm at. As in people who keep making my head hurt. D: |
I think the thing that really bothered me was their base. The neck just didn't seem right and it's arms and legs were kind of like not right. The pixeling is pretty, and I love some of the winged items they have...but that's it.

I must say Mene has the nicest Avatars of any avatar site I've previewed. There's a couple of niggles on how things layer, but other than that AV wise it's really nice.
I guess the main thing is the community. I really hope we don't get overrun by nasty newbies that turn this place into crap. :| |
The good thing about our community is we pretty much squash out all the extra naughty newblets. lol That or we just brain wash all of them.... >.> Or many just undo the brain washing going on over on Gaia? Not sure. xD

Never really checked out Roli before. I'm pretty much on here or Gaia lately. Been busy with the baby, so I'm sneaking a peek to see if the event started up.

Apparently the email you got Jen was a goof...They sent them out accidentally and that's part of why the site went down. CK said on the announcement for Celes Paradi. O_o

I don't think they had the event items on it, just the event commons. That'd be silly if they displayed the event items! Those are supposed to be a mystery, remember - haha. But yeah - they did show the event commons.
