Ok ok ok omg. Guess what. XD You found the answer!! Whooo! *confetti* Aren't you so pumped? XD

My brother is a flipping idiot. o.O .. >.< Not so nice of me to say, huh? He's being so cheap though.. seriously.. trying to have a cucumber eating contest XD lol what's the reason behind that, anyways? "I can eat cucumbers faster than youuu cannnn *taunttaunt**teasetease*" And he's cheating. Makes him feel so accomplished, eh? It's not even fun lol. Just frivolous. But I guess it doesn't matter in the first place. Just an odd thing to be participating in lol.

xD i no longer have a monthly gift so im good xD
sorry about you been so tierd and crampy and what not jenn Dx

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:32 PM

Apparently it has, but not since I've known her. You know the weird thing is that her and hubby were childhood sweethearts and well have been in relationships and had sex together so they both know each other well. However, there is absolutely no chemistry between them to sustain a relationship and hubby says that if they are left together for any great length of time they make each other miserable. *laughs* She's like one of my best friends here now though and I have a lot of trust and respect for her.

Jen - I hate my period too. If you get horrible cramping I'd suggest birth control. You don't have to be on it just to have sex...it seriously is prescribed to women who have painful or heavy periods. The nice thing is your local health department will probably give you your Rx free if they have a similar program as in Michigan. I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Jennifer 09-02-2009 09:34 PM

Cucumbers? That's funny. I had a sliced cucumber in the salad I had yestereday. I spit it out because it tasted like earwax. :gonk: Don't know even ask how I know what earwax tastes like. :XD

Not entirely pumped about remembering I'm going to start my period soon, haha. Why doesn't Aunt Flow visit you anymore, Snow? :XD

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:36 PM

@jenn~ i dont know i started talking birth control to regulate it and when i stopped taking it my present stopped with it ^_^

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:37 PM

Hmm that's strange snow...what kind did you take if you don't mind me asking?

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:38 PM

loestrain fe i think thats how you spell it xD

strange_dreams_512 09-02-2009 09:39 PM

@Jen- Ohh that's what she meant -.-";; Totally didn't click until just now (about what snow said)
Yeah idk we do a lot of random crap in our house. I'm kinda surprised he actually found something to eat around here haha. It usually takes forever.

@Jez- Ohh I see.. that's a bit of a dilemma, eh?
What brands of BC works the best for that? : o

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:44 PM

*dances around the thread*

Jennifer 09-02-2009 09:45 PM

My stepmother took this really strong kind of birth control. I forgot what it's called. It's basically a shot though. She took it to stop her period and so she wouldn't get pregnant. But then she had to stop taking it MANY months in advance if she wanted to get pregnant again. Some people say that the drug is so powerful, many wasn't able to get pregant for YEARS after being off it.

My stepmother had to place hormones in her drinks and everything to get things back up for her. Now she's pregnant again (planned)! IT MIGHT BE TWINS! :D

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:46 PM

omg thats great to hear =3

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:47 PM

Jen - Yah that's one of the side effects of that particular type. Gosh I'm trying to think of the name of that...I've had it done twice myself. It's nice though as there's no periods. Well possibility for spotting but I didn't have anything. The Depo shot. That's right. Depopravera I think it's called.

I tried to look up Loestrin on WebMD but it crashed. I'd suggest checking it out and seeing if that's something you might want consult your doctor about. :|

Jennifer 09-02-2009 09:50 PM

Yes, Depo, that's it! My sister is actually on it (she's almost seventeen years old). But not to control her periods. :XD

I don't think I'll be taking any birth control. I'd rather just suffer through my periods. Plus, it gives me an excuse to bum around all day and whatnot. :XD

Thanks, Snow. We're all pretty excited. Though, if it (or they) is a girl, well...I'll just laugh my head off. Because Wendy isn't stoping until she has a boy. :XD

strange_dreams_512 09-02-2009 09:51 PM

Ohhh I see.. yeah my sister got depo shot but I kept on forgetting what it was called. It sounds really nice not to have any periods. Just kinda curious about what side effects there might be.. long and short term.

Ooh really? Twins? : 3 Awesome.. wonder what she'd name em

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:52 PM

Meh I like being on it. I seriously have a much better time of the month because of it. I mean not all my monthlies are horrible, but it goes in a cycle and I'll have one that is just very uncomfortable with lots of pain, bloating and having to change like numerous times in one day and I just haaate those. That and its controlled. Mine tend to fluctuate how many days normally and can be hard to predict.

Edit: Strange - you can get all that info on the web if you are curious enough. Web MD when it works is a nice site.

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:52 PM

i asked my docter and she says its just stress but i dont believe cause theres no way in hell ive been stressed for a year xD

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:55 PM

Wow you've been off it for a year? That seems like a long time to be without. I stopped taking the pill I'm on and I had it the next month. Trying to remember the name. It'll come to me in a minute.

I should like be a little more informed since I want to become a medical assistant....or a pharmacy tech would be a lot of fun. I enjoy that kinda stuff.

Jezriel 09-02-2009 09:55 PM

Side effects - weight gain, possible grumpiness - and for me my body remembers when it's SUPPOSED to have it's period and I get all the pms symptoms and spotting, but little to no cramps. My doctor told me it makes my body think that it IS pregnant, and I'd be hungry a lot more. I laughed at her, because me and my stomach stopped talking ages ago. But apparently it was true. It's so weird to be standing in front of the fridge with no idea what I'm doing there.

Izumi 09-02-2009 09:56 PM

That's what all birth control does Jez - tricks your body into think it is pregnant. And all forms of hormonal treatment seem to increase your appetite/gain weight. One of the downsides of taking it.

It's great though. Periods are great, and uhm not worried about getting pregnant is a major plus.

strange_dreams_512 09-02-2009 09:58 PM

@Jez- Yeah I honestly don't eat enough at all but if I started being more hungry often it'd make me paranoid. -_-";; I'm just weird like that.

@Snow- A...year.. and no period..? Seriously? .-. Do you have any side effects from taking it or are those all gone..? If there really were any..?

XxXx-Eternal-Snow-xXxX 09-02-2009 09:58 PM

i went off the pill so i could get pregnate xD
such a horrible down fall xD
but theres always adopting right lol
EDIT:
i still get cramps just no period and there horrible cramps to the point i cant move Dx
i have to go get ready in a few minutes im going to youth group later

Jennifer 09-02-2009 09:59 PM

Dad wants to name it Topanga if it's a girl. :XD He's such a dork, haha. But all their kids have to have names that start with a T. :XD So far they have two daughters together, Teigra and Tanya. So yeah...

If it's twin boys, Tegan and ...I forget what else she had in mind.

strange_dreams_512 09-02-2009 09:59 PM

lol yes those poor children who needs home. Don't forget about them : 3

Jezriel 09-02-2009 10:00 PM

I'd taken it before and no one had mentioned the apatite thing. In fact, I'd never EXPERIENCED the apatite increase before. I'm guessing it's because my body chemistry is different now than it was when I was younger.

And yeah, the plus sides far outweigh the downsides. I'm going to have to start excersizing more, that's all. Should be anyway.... >.>'

Izumi 09-02-2009 10:00 PM

Meh kids aren't all they're cracked up to be. I mean I love spending time with them but I wish I could just go straight to grandparenting and have them part time....oh wait I do. Well saying that the little buggers really grow on you and nights like tonight are sooo quiet. They keep you on your toes. I always am kept busy with plenty of laundry and dishes when they're around.
