She finds her life to be rather boring and wishes that she could have an adventure like the ones she reads about. Bio: Shia is your everyday school girl. She spends most of her time at the school between classes and extracurricular activities. Her favorite club is the Nature Club but she also enjoys the Book Club. She spends most of her time during classes daydreaming about the various adventures she could be having rather than sitting inside at her desk. Because of her lack of concentration on schoolwork, her grades are waning and her parents are becoming frustrated with her. ((Alrighty... Sorry if this first one is a bit long...))
Shia sighed and looked out the window. There was only a half hour left of class but to Shia it felt like an eternity. She lazily gazed out at the same scenery that she watched every day and before she knew it she was daydreaming. The classroom faded from view and a setting similar to the last book she read took it's place. For the last thirty minutes of class she dreamed of an underwater kingdom of which she was the mermaid princess. Shia's daydreaming was interrupted when the final bell of the day rang. Sighing once again she slowly collected her things and followed her comrades out of the classroom and out into the hall. There she paused to look around. She had been looking forward to walking with the Nature Club that afternoon but her brother had told her that morning that she was to go home immediately after classes were dismissed. Walking dismally down the hallway she took the nearest door outside and began the long walk home. |
Luna was getting extremely bored with her regular going to school routine. She decided to walk around town, hopefully nobody would know she was ditching school. Her head hurt extremely bad. As she continued walking she found her memory was slowly starting to fade... her head hurt so badly... she must have been getting amnesia.

Shia slowly dragged herself down the usual route she usually took to get home, dreading actually getting there. Her grades had been lagging the past few weeks and she was sure to receive strict lecturing from her parents once she arrived. She stopped for a moment and looked up at the clouded sky, "Now would be the time for an adventure..." she said quietly to herself.

Her head hurt so much, Luna fell against the wall of a building. She closed her eyes and fell down against the ground.

Shia stood there for a moment as if waiting for an adventure to come and whisk her away. However, her dreams of grandeur were whisked away as a fat, cold raindrop fell down onto her forehead. Many more raindrops followed the first one and within moments it was pouring.

Luna opened her eyes, for a moment she thought she was looking at a new place. She closed her eyes again, and reopened them. "W-where am I?" she asked herself. "Wait... who am I..." she realized that she didn't know who she was... was she here before.... had she completely lost her memory.

Shia shrieked at the cold rain. It quickly soaked through her white uniform top, exposing the garments underneath. Holding her bag to her chest she ran towards the nearest form of shelter which happened to be a gnarled old cherry tree. She stood shivering underneath it's branches for a moment before lifting her head and shouting "THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT WHEN I SAID I WANTED AN ADVENTURE!" Just as she finished her outburst, Shia felt herself falling backwards. She braced herself for the imminent collision with the tree behind her but none came. She seemed to fall right through the trunk but when she tried to open her eyes she found that she could not. A sickening dizzying sensation washed over her as she continued to fall endlessly.

Luna was stumbling around. She was in a forest, it was totally different then what she believed she ever seen before. She saw a girl fall against a tree, she wondered if she was okay. She stumbled over to the girl, "Are you okay?"

Shia tried to scream but found that when she did, no noise came out. She was just on the brink of passing out when she felt herself slam down against something solid. For a moment she felt too sick to move but when she heard a voice near her she opened her eyes. The ground felt like it was rocking back and forth underneath her but she managed to catch sight of a girl standing before her. "Um..." she replied dumbly before closing her eyes again against the urge to throw up.

"Are you alright?" Luna asked the girl. She didn't look all that fine.

After a moment her nausea began to subside and the rocking of the ground lessened. Shia slowly opened her eyes to see a rather beautiful person standing before her. It only took her a moment longer to realize one more fact about the stranger, "You're an elf!" she replied, her eyes widening in amazement.

"I-I am?" Luna asked feeling her ears. "I never knew I was an elf."

Shia looked at the person inquisitively, how could one not know they were an elf? Looking past the stranger she saw the forest beyond for the first time. A forest? Only a few moments before she had been in the city! She had been walking home from school...

"Who are you?" Luna asked... "Then again... where are we? Who... who am I?"
|
Shia looked back to the elven girl as she spoke to her again. "I'm Shia..." she replied before she was interrupted by another question. "W-who are you?" she repeated confused, how could this girl not know who she was? First not knowing she was an elf, now not knowing her own name?

"I... don't know..." Luna said. "I swear I knew before the day began..."

"Oh... I see." Shia replied politely. "Is... Is there something in particular I should call you then?" she asked.

"Um... I dunno... I-I like the name Luna," she said. "I really don't know myself... I just opened my eyes and saw this world
|
"Okay then!" Shia replied brightly, trying to lighten the mood. She slowly gathered her legs underneath herself and carefully stood up. For some reason she felt a bit... Heavier than usual.

Luna yawned, "I wonder whether I have slept today... I'm tired."
