I became a mod around the peak of my reporting era. I reported alot of nasty business that went on, I was on Menewsha often, and friendly to everyone. I helped out where I could, and also ran a thread in the user-run community event 'Summer Carnival'.
After a while, I guess the admin team saw me, and asked if I wanted to try out being a Mod. And just closing this round, not al together. :3 |

xD They're a lot better than the mods on a different site I go to. Due to the fact that most of the population literally kiss ass to the staff, I think some of them have gotten a real high and mighty attitude. Everyone time that someone mentions the slightest criticism of what they're doing, people break out and start yelling 'Yanno, its hard to do all this when people bitch every time they change something! Suck it up or do it yourself!' and shit. Honestly. You're in a position of power, therefore people are going to bitch. And by the way, listening to us bitch and either giving good reasons or admitting their wrong is a part of being a staff member. And being busy. If they can't handle the fucking fire, they should either accept that their ass will burn, or get out before they're well done and crispy.
I mean, this site won't allow violence of nearly any kind in roleplays. And you know what? There's a picture of a bloody alter on one of the worlds. Yes, a bloody alter where you can sacrifice your pets to turn them into mummies. In the past, they've had items that were made up of cut up pieces of the King. =/ Makes real sense, doesn't it? ... I'd rant about the shitty censors next, but I think you're all asleep by now... xD |
