We spent two hours getting food for three people on our way from running errands on the other side of town. *chuckles* It is a long drive out there, to be fair.
|
Ugh, that just makes me cringe, Amane, lol. To each his/her/their own.
|
It was really good food. Donuts, ya'll! [cool]
|
Like good donuts? Because bad donuts do exist...
|
Like Tim Hortons donuts good donuts. Sweet heavens, I love that place.
I've never had a bad donut, not that I've eaten donuts all that often in my life, but I don't doubt their existence. |
I don't think I tried Tim Horton's donuts. Only been near one once in my life and we just got coffee. But like Dunkin Donuts are not worth a long drive. Donuts from an Amish bakery are definitely worth a long drive.

I really do not like Dunkin'. I forgot that place. I HAVE had bad donuts!
Krispy Kreme is good even though I can't remember the taste right now. Any other brand being sold at the store works for me. Though Tim Hortons is my fave right now and I don't want anything else. I can't say I have a long-lasting favorite brand of any food because all variations I like taste good to me in their own way. Which one I want depends on my cravings of the moment. Tim Hortons is my "favorite" because I just started eating things from there. It's new and exciting. Maybe in a few months I'll be back to Hostess white powdered or chocolate Donettes. Mmm, those are good. Cookies are the worst with that. I really cannot pick a favorite cookie, oh my lord. Famous Amos. Arby's triple chocolate. Keebler Soft Batch. Archway. Grandma's (the brand; my grandmomma doesn't bake cookies). Pillsbury slice-and-bake. The Bakery. Whatever other random brand that catches my eye at the store. THEY'RE ALL SO GOOD UGH. /ramble ramble I also finally tried a smoothie, from Tim Hortons. Mixed berry. SO GOOD. I must get mother to take me to this other place around here that specializes in smoothies. Maybe. If I'm brave enough to ask. |

Now I want cookies but I don't have any cookies. Memo to self: put cookies in desk for future consumption. I like making my own smoothies. I find most of those places use a overly sugary blend. We have a local place that does smoothies that are all natural and really good. |
|
I don't have the option of making my own smoothies as things are right now. I think it would be fun, but I can't.
I have so many Pillsbury slice-and-bake cookies in the freezer because I didn't know we don't use a whole roll to make one batch. My momma's been helping me make cookies and blueberry muffins. Now I know a full tray of muffins takes two boxes while a full sheet of cookies takes about half the roll. My momma seems to be unaware of how little I know about preparing food, so of course she didn't tell me I still had cookies left when I asked to buy more. Sadly, this seemingly endless fount of cookies is in flavors I found mediocre. Nothing's beating Pillsbury peanut butter cookies. Momma had made those on occasion since I was smol. So yummy! [heart] I bought sugar cookies thinking they'd be colorful like the cookies on the package. I cried internally so hard when I realized they were probably going to be plain. OOH AND I STILL GOTTA MAKE THE COOKIES N' CREAM ONES. Those are supposed to be big! I bought Jiffy raspberry muffin mix on clearance. Gotta make those, too. |
