My rice takes 30 minutes to cook..evil rice machine...=.=

Rice machine? *blink* Oh yeah, I've heard of those...

What I do is: steam it for 20 minutes, but that's not cooking I just put it in hot water in a bowl and leave. Then fry the oil thing for 2 minutes, then cook it for 7 minutes. 9 minutes in the pot/pan.

That sounds like alot of work just for some rice

I wash the rice, put water in it and click a button xD. Then I wait.

@Zombie: Not really. XD Putting it in hot water is no big deal - you need to wash it anyway, so it's already in a bowl. Then just warm some water in the kettle and put it on. It's one of the easiest things to cook, I think. =P

But then again, my American friends always say that it's weird how we Turks actually cook. XD I guess we do use ready-made stuff sometimes but the laziest thing I do is buy ready-to-cook meat (instead of having to actually spice it and season it etc myself).
