No sleep for me tonight
 
I swear I'm such a goober... I ran out of my lunesta (sleeping pills) and completely forgot to call them in!

I normally keep tylonol pm on hand for backup because I know how forgetful I can be but that appears to be non-findable

the really crappy part is that i REALLY don't want to read too much as I'm running out of books but I have nothing else to do after I get done posting here, checking my email, etc.

I could re-paint my toenails and paint my nails but that doesn't last that long either..

any suggestions on things I can do to entertain myself that doesn't require fingers in my pants?

Watch t.v.? Can't you try to go to sleep? I don't know why you need sleep aides but, it wouldn't hurt to try.

our house isn't quite big enough to fit all of us into bedrooms so i sleep on the couch in the front living room, the tv is in the main/real living room where another member of our household sleeps so tv is a nogo.

as for needing sleep aids and trying to sleep, i have insomnia and without a sleep aid I simply don't get tired unless i stay away for days and even when I try to lay down I just lay there. my mind doesn't turn off like it should and inspecting the inside of my eyelids is only fun for so long ya know?

i DO try to sleep, the problem is it just doesn't work *shrugs*

What do you do when you need to get changed and stuff.

On the plus side I'm here to post too :) Doesn't really help your issue though.

lol i change after i take a bath or shower so it's no big deal, i just take my change of cloths along with my bathstuff (i refuse to share my good stuff with these wasters!) into the bathroom and change when I'm clean.

Well, I'm too late now, but I can help for the future.

You can draw, listen to music (on headphones, so you don't bother anyone else), play a handheld game, write (a journal, a story, a poem, a letter, whatever), you could cut pictures out of magazines and make a collage on a piece of paper (I love doing that XD I do it on my walls, too), you could organize your computer files (like pictures), you could exercise (stuff that doesn't require equipment. Like stretching, push ups, sit ups, squats, etc.), etc.
That's all I can come up with right now.

That's too bad, I have trouble turning my mind off too but, I always get to sleep eventually. Have you been to a doctor to see about your insomnia? It can't be good to take sleep aids every night. I hope you find a good solution.

Yups, the doctor is the one who presribed lunesta. It generally is the solution that works for me aside from staying up for a few days with zero of sleep ;)
