With a warm smile, Anna looked up at him, her nose going crooked as it turned into a curious grin. "How is that you've gotten so smitten with me?"
--- "'cause you had some very convincing reasons why we should go in here," Fynn smiled warmly, his arms loosening their grip on her shoulders. His hand slipped down her arm to reach for her hand, and he lightly kissed the inside of her wrist before opening the door for them. "And I don't want to let go of you just yet." While the Room of Requirements always had a somewhat majestic feel about it, like most of the castle, it was still a fairly simple room, that looked like a mixture between the Gryffindor common room and bedrooms. A four poster bed stood on one end of the room, while a loveseat and two one seat chairs stood around a fireplace on the other wall, an elegant wooden coffee tafel in the middle of the sitting nook. It seemed like Fynn had intended this room to last for quite a while, including things like a 'link' to the castles' kitchen, noted by the small table next to the door, where two plates and two cups rested, and a seemingly seperate part of the room for a toilet and quick shower. It had all the makings of a hotel room, frankly. |
Liam laughed, "Hmm, I don't know. But what I do know is, I don't want t' lose ye 'n' yer the only girl I've met who seems to take my breath away the moment ye speak or look my way. So, if ye call that smitten, or love, or what-ever ye want, I've been head-over-heels with it since the moment I met ye." With a smile, he kissed the tip of Anna's nose before playfully asking, "Now tell me, how do ye put up with me 'n' my ramblings?"
------------- Leane blushed as she walked into the Room of Requirement and looked around, noticing the soft look of the white sheets and the blue bed-skirt, comforter, canopy, as well as the dark, rich mahogany woodwork. Blushing even deeper upon realizing Fynn's intent to stay awhile, she burried her face in his arm and gave his hand a gentle squeeze, not wanting him to see how nervous she was nor how crimson her cheeks had become. |
"'cause you say stuff like that?" Her cheeks were a bright pink again, though the smile on her face was about as wide as it could get. Tenderly she slipped her hands into the pockets of his robe, her hands resting lightly on his hips now, through layers of fabric. "Though you are full of ramblings, of course. 'Take my breath away'," Anna snorted, before giving a light wink, indicating she was joking. "Such rubbish."
Not one to let her teasing get in the way of giving a proper response, Anna added after a moment, quite simply, "I like you. A lot." -- Fynn let out an emberrassed cough, about as red as Leane was. "Um - don't mind the bed and such...I just... um..." He coughed again, his hand reaching up to awkwardly scratch the back of his head as he turned his head lightly to look anywhere but at Leane. "I just... wanted a place for us alone... um... the room did most of that." True enough, the room had jumped on Fynns' teenage hormones and had created this far too romantic, adult setting. Still, miscommunication was bound to happen, and Fynn awkwardly looked down on Leane, stammering and blushing. "Like... just for making-out and such...um..." |
Liam chuckled, "It's not rubbish at all! It's true 'n' ye know it," he added as he gently tapped her nose with his finger.
Smiling, Liam stroked her hair, "Aye, ye do seem t' like me for some reason. Still can't figure that one out though." ----------------- Leane blushed as she met his gaze, "That's all you were thinking about?" As she slipped out of her flats, her bare feet touching the soft rug in front of the door, she gently began little swirls and figure eights in the rug with her big toe as she glanced down to the floor, "I was... kinda, sorta, maybe... thinking..." She gently bit her lower lip, not bothering to finish her sentence, as she concentrated on gazing at the movement of her toe - not wanting to look up to see Fynn's reaction. |
Her eyes shone as she looked up at him through the glasses of her bright orange frames. "What's not to like?" Carefully, she brushed a stray strand off of his forehead, whispering lightly, "You're smart, handsome, kind and fun. You're a great catch."
---- Maybe it was a good thing that Leane was looking down at that moment, for if Fynn had been one to drool, he would have. Nervously he swallowed away the lump that had popped up in his throat, and he cleared it again before saying, "Um...I... I also... considered it, but..." The nervousness increased, and Fynn now blushed profoundly as he turned his head away a little, looking at the fireplace. "But...I don't think... not yet." |
Liam chuckled, "So it's mainly me good looks, eh? I suppose I can live with that."
--------------- Smiling, Leane turned so she was standing in front of Fynn. Wrapping her arm around his waist, she stood on her tippy-toes and placed a gentle kiss upon his lips. "I don't mind. Just being here with you, is all I could ever ask for." As she began kissing him more passionately, her other hand began to brush against his arm as it made it's way around his neck, clutching a bit of hair at the nape. |
"Don't say that," Anna laughed, the hands on his hips going out of his pockets to rest on his lower back instead. "I just don't know you well enough yet to comment on things like how many types of smiles you have, or how you like your coffee, or how you feel about our current economical state." She grins a bit at that last one.
--- At a loss of words, Fynns' body switched into "auto" mode as he responded to Leane's touches and kisses. His mind, however, knew he wouldn't let it go that fast now. 'Not yet,' he thought. |
Liam laughed as he answered her statements, "You'll have to figure it out 'cause I don't know me-self, black with sugar 'n' cream, though in all honesty I prefer Swiss Mocha with cream 'n' cinnamon if it's available, 'n' as for our economical state, I believe the rich should help the lower families out instead of buying 6 houses, 8 cars, etc. Seems an aweful waste to buy things they never use, it'd be better to help out the homeless or people in the lower or middle classes who are struggling finacially at the moment due to prices sky-rocketing 'n' taxes bein' so high."
---------------- Leane giggled softly as she stepped back, letting her hands fall into his. Giving them a gentle squeeze, she smiled as she walked backwards, leading him towards the love-seat. "Don't worry so much, love," she said softly, "I'm not going that far, I promise. You'll be the one to decide when that shall happen," she added with a wink. As they neared the love-seat, the fireplace began to crackle as more wood appeared in it - this time being driftwood - which gave the fire a blue and purple glow. |
A warm laugh came out of her mouth as Anna's arms now tightly wrapped around Liam. "I love that you took me serious enough to answer those things." Her lips lightly brushed over his, grateful to know more about him, and she leaned back with a grin. "Thank you."
---- "Don't say such things so easily," Fynn mumbled, blushing so fiercely that even his ears had gone red. He lifted her hand up to kiss the inside of her wrist, lingering his nose there a bit to take in her scent. "You tease." |
Liam smiled the smile Anna loved so much before kissing her forehead, "Why wouldn't I take ye seriously, love?"
--------------------- Leane sighed contently as she smiled at him, gently stroking his cheek with her fingers, "No, I don't tease, far from it actually. I'm perfectly serious. And yes, I know exactly what I'm saying, and I mean every word." |
"Because I was bantering?" She grins lightly at him, before becoming a bit more serious again as she adds, "I do want to know all of those things. But not everyone just freely shares them."
---- "That's what's so scary," Fynn admitted seriously, tilting his head lightly to lean his cheek more firmly against her hand. "Because now the only thing holding us back from doing that, is me. And I'm not so confident in my own resolve." |
Liam smiled as he pulled her close to him, "Aye, that's true. But ye must realize, love, I'm always open 'n' honest with those close to me 'n' those I love. Ye'll never 'ave t' worry 'bout that. Whatever yer curious lit'le mind wonders, I'll gladly answer if I'm able."
----------------- Leane continued to smile as she stroked his cheek with her thumb, "I know, I trust you, you know I do. You'll know when the timing is right - whether that time is now or 10 years from now, I leave that to you, Fynn. You know very well I'll wait for you, you don't have to worry about that. I'll wait as long as you wish it, trust me." |
Her cheek glowed happily as she smiled up at him, "I'm glad to hear it. My mind tends to have some odd quirks that I don't always keep to myself."
---- He let out a shy laugh, his eyes closing as his world narrowed down to the hand on his cheek. "This is the opposite world, normally the guys' the one who doesn't want to wait." As a boyish, content smile spread on his face, he added, "It's just that... I love you. You love me. I've waited for this since our first year, almost. I don't want to wreck anything up. I want to know more about you and be fully at ease." His one eye opened a bit to look at her, adding, "We've gotten so used to disliking eachother. I don't want to risk going back to that, you know?" |
Liam smiled as he kissed the top of her head, "I know, love, 'n' I'll always listen to everything ye have t' say with the fullest attention, I promise." As they neared the lake, Liam loosened his hold on her, slipping his hand into hers, "Is there anythin' else yer lit'le heart wants t' know 'bout me or me family?"
-------------- Leane smiled as her thumb brushed gently across his closed eye-lid before she gently pressed her lips against his, sighing contently. "I know . . . I'm just as worried about it . . . as you are Fynn . . . and I do love you . . . and I do want this . . . but I also know . . . that your judge in timing . . . is usually best, therefore . . . I will wait until you want this to happen, Fynn . . . and I will not press the subject," she murmured as she kissed his cheek, making her way down to his shoulder, before finally resting her head on his shoulder. "Let us just stay here awhile," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, "just us, no one around to give us odd glances or say remarks to us. Here we can catch up and fill each other in on our doings the past few years. You don't realize how much I've missed your company, Fynn. It's been hard for me to keep up the appearance of loathing you from the essence of my being, when in reality . . . I've loved you more with each passing day. Every time you spoke, my heart fluttered. Every time we quarrelled, butterflies came to my stomach and I wanted nothing more than to simply be in your arms at that very moment and forget the argument, for it seemed so unimportant compared to the thought of your arms wrapped around me, pulling me close. It was hard knowing that every day of my life, I'd have to live without you simply because I'm a Slytherin, therefore never knowing the pleasant feeling of being in your arms, feeling your lips, your touch, your breath . . . For me, maybe not as much for you, but for me, this is the most perfect moment, and I don't want it ruined either. So if you want to talk, I will gladly sit and talk with you for as long as you want, tell you anything you wish to know. Just . . . just stay here with me . . . just for a little while." |
"Everything would be too much, I assume?" Anna smiled warmly, a tad shy because of her own curiosity. Her hand gently closed around his, and she squeezed it lightly, looking up with a grin. "Though I most likely won't remember it all, knowing my cheese brain."
--- And he does. Truly, Fynn had nothing to say, understanding her deep longing to just be together. His arms warmly wrap around Leane's shoulders as he pulls her tighter to his chest, his lips barely touching the skin on her neck before he buries his head there, his long hair falling over her chest a bit. |
Liam laughed as he sat down on green grass surrounding the lake, "Aye, ye may not want to hear everything. But whatever ye do want t' know, I'll tell ye in as much detail as ye want."
------------------------- Leane couldn't help but smile as she nuzzeled her head into his chest, a tear running down her cheek, her hands slipping around his waist and clasping at the small of his back. "Thank you," she whispered simply. |
Rather then following him down to the gras, Anna let go of his hand, stretching her limbs as she overlooked the lake. "Well... I'll gladly hear whatever you want to tell me. I don't think I'll ever stop wanting to know more about you."
-- "Hmm," was the only noise he made, his lips going back to discovering the sensitive parts of skin on her neck. |
Liam smiled, "I don't even know where t' begin, nor what ye've already found out from Sai 'n' the gang 'r gossip 'round the castle."
---------------- Leane did her best not to laugh, but even though she gently bit her lip, she couldn't help but let out a few giggles as he kissed her neck. "You know very well I'm ticklish there!" she said softly through her giggling, her shoulder slightly shrugging towards her neck involuntarily as he continued to kiss her, "Fyyynnnn.." |
Glancing back over her shoulder, Anna granted Liam one of her warm, kind smiles, as she explained, "No matter the gossip, I only believe things when it comes from the source. So you can start wherever. No matter what I've heard or haven't heard, I'll only believe you."
--- "Yeeeeees?" It was a murmer against her skin, and only added to the tickling sensation. It was interesting to find out that Leane was ticklish there, and I planned on remembering that. |
"Hmm.. I suppose I'll begin with me family. I was born in Antrim, 'n' when me mum found out she was pregnant, she quit work as an Auror. Even though me dad runs a bank over in the States, his main base is in London 'n' mum didn't want t' continue her work 'til she knew we'd all be safe 'n' me dad was away more. So, after me sister was old enough t' go to Hogwarts, me mum started her work again. She works over in Ireland 'n' me dad is in the States more than he's in Surrey. So, I've raised Luc since she was about ten, with the help o' me friends o' course. I couldn't have done it alone." With a chuckle Liam smiled up at Anna as he laid back in he grass, folding his hands under his head, "Which is another reason why Luc follows us around 'n' looks up to all o' us so much, we're the only family she's known for about 4 years."
---------------- Leane laughed as she tried to pull back a little, "Fyynn, it's not funny! Now you're just doing it on purpose!" |
In reply to his smile, she turns away from the lake and strolls over to him. "It must've been difficult for you both, then. I can understand why she'd idolize you even without that, though." Sinking down to her knees by his head, Anna almost automatically reaches out to caress his forehead and hair, looking down on him pensively. "It's no wonder she wants you to be involved with her friend. She must be terrified of losing you."
-- Laughing too, he allows her some room to pull back, his arms loosely resting around her waist. "That obvious, huh?" |
Smiling, Liam reached up and stroked Anna's cheek with his fingers before twirling a piece of hair that had fallen in front of her face, "Aye, but I'm not fond of Shiera, nor anyone else fer that mat'er. The only one I'm interested in is you. Luc'll realize it sooner 'r later and accept it, I'm just afraid Luc put the idea too far into Shiera's head so Shiera only has eyes fer me. Poor Elijah. The kid's been in love with 'er since their second year together. Maybe ye should work some o' yer magic with realtionships with 'em," he added with a chuckle.
-------------------- Leane nodded before pressing her lips against Fynn's. When she unlocked her lips from his, Leane allowed her lips to hover near Fynn's, her sweet breath brushing over his lips as she spoke gently, looking up into his eyes, "But I don't mind it so much." |
Her hands gently closed around his wrist, and she nuzzled her cheek warmly into his hand. "Love and affection cannot be forced. Though maybe I can help Shiera see beyond only you." Anna's eyes were closed as she smiled lightly, adding, "If she allows me to help, at least. You can't help a person when they don't want to be helped."
Something occured to her lightly, and she opened her eyes again questioningly, "Your fathers' a muggle, then?" --- "Good," Fynn breathed back, his fingertips travelling lightly up and down her spine. "'cause I kind of like it." He smiled, his eyes opening to look into hers, before leaning in again for another kiss. |
Liam sighed, "Aye, but I'm sure you'll think o' somethin' t' help her see the guys who do care for her."
Smiling, Liam looked up into Anna's eyes, "Aye, me dad's a muggle. What about you? Tell me a lit'le bit o' yer hist'ry." -------------------------- Leane's heart skipped a beat as her tongue brushed against Fynn's. As she continued to kiss him, she couldn't help but reflect upon everything that had happened that day - a pleasant feeling rising in her heart as her deepest desires and wishes were finally coming true. When Leane finally broke from his lips, she rested her forehead against his chest. "So much for talking," Leane panted as a smile spread across her face. |
"Oddly enough," Anna smiled, her fingers tracing the lines of his face with a far too intense concentration for such an innocent activity. "I'm pureblood. Both my mother and father come from a long line of wizards. My mother was a Hufflepuff, actually. Dad went to a small school in Belgium."
--- His arms pulled close tightly around her, as his face cracked open into a warm smile too. "Yeah. But I just want to be with you right now." |
