The kiss he returned was very much like one of the first ones they'd shared - passionate, as if he wanted to devour her and never let go. When Fynn felt her tears against his cheeks, though, he pulled away, laughing gently at her crying.
"Why are you crying, silly," his chiding was gentle and warm as he used the sleeves of his school robes to clean her cheeks, "You're supposed to be laughing - that what most people do when they're happy." |
Leane couldn't help but laugh as she blushed, "It's one of my worst faults. When I'm too happy, I cry, when I'm too angry, I cry; there's really no stopping it."
Smiling, she wiped her tears from his cheeks as she tried her best to stop the tear-flow, "What ever will my father think of this. Mother will surely be happy, she was afraid I'd never find a husband due to my temper and tongue. I'm just afraid you'll despise my father. He's a bit like Mr. Rumeti, only associating with people who are equal in rank or heritage, and only doing things for gain. Thank goodness you won't meet him until Christmas! That'll at least give me some time to love the idea of being your wife, for you'll surely call it off after you meet the family you just asked to be tied to." |
Cupping her face in his hands, Fynn used his thumbs to try and keep up with the flow of tears, though giving up after a little while as he laughed gently. "You're such a pessimist. I know perfectly well what your father is like - and when it comes to rank or heritage, I match up to you without any problems."
Almost as an afterthought, he added, "You want me to meet your family at Christmas? Really?" |
"Comes with being a Supton I suppose. We're a very pessimistic lot, " Leane said as she laughed, her leaky tears finally coming to a halt, "But yes, I had hoped you'd agree to meet them when they come to spend the day with me. I never go home for Christmas, I usually go to Saiyuri's instead. So mum and dad spend a day up here with me and bring me their gifts before going off on their annual Christmas Muggle Cruise."
Smiling, she kissed him before continuing, "So therefore, if you were here that day, I was hoping you'd agree to meet them. If you don't want to, I understand though." |
"No, that's fine with me," Fynn answered after returning her kiss, glad to see her tears had subsided. "I'll just have to inform mother that I won't come home for Christmas this year."
--- Muttering angrily in herself as she sat through Transfiguration, Anna made quite a figure. None of the people of her year had bothered to get to know her - but really, the brunette didn't care. She was just severely pissed off at one Professor Snape, and was making up a list of arguments to present to him, next time. The idiot hadn't only disagreed to teach her the potion, but had openly laughed at her - saying that the complexity of the potion was far beyond Anna's capabilities, and "was she planning on poisoning Miss Rumeti instead?" Suffice it to say, Anna was NOT a happy camper - and was angrily dipping her quill in the inkwell while taking down notes during her Transfigurations class, her mind only half listening to Professor McGonagall. |
Leane frowned, "Not a chance. I won't have you missing Christmas with your mother on account of me. I'll just make sure my parents come on the day before you leave," she added with a nod as she took his hands in hers and placed a kiss on his nose before tenderly kissing his lips.
Her lips brushing against his, she spoke softly yet firmly, "Now, dearest, don't even try to persuade me otherwise. I will not have you miss any holiday with your parents on account of me. They'd never forgive me!" ------------- Josh sighed as he plopped onto the couch in the Common Room. Folding his hands behind his head, he stared up at the ceiling, trying to sort his thoughts and find a way to be around Fynn and not want to rip his head off. |
"You highly overrate their affection for me," Fynn smiled, quirking an eyebrow up as he looked at her. "But in any case, there's plenty of time before that. We can work out a proper arrangement before that, I'd think."
His nose lightly rubbed hers, as he added, "Weren't we on our way down to the lake?" |
"It's all how you interpret," she said softly as she kissed him before leading him out of the corridor and down the stairs, "But yes, we have plenty of time before December. And besides, we have the coming home of Saiyuri to think about as well, for she will be home by Christmas."
Smiling, Leane rested her head on Fynn's shoulder as her fingers entwined with his, "As for the lake, are we going to swim or stay on the bank?" |
"I'm up for some swimming," Fynn smiled, bringing her hand up to his lips to kiss it lightly. "If it's not too freezing, anyway." As they walked down the stairs in unison, Fynn looked at his Leane with more then minor admiration - amazed at how this beautiful girl was by his side, almost unconditionally.
Blushing lightly, he looked away, asking, "Um - when will Saiyuri be back?" |
Laughing, Leane bumped his hip with hers gently, "Then it looks like I'll just have to keep you warm then, hm?"
Leane sighed as she thought about Saiyuri, "Her arrival here depends on her departure from the States. And her departure from the States depends on her arrival into the States and the amount of time it takes to get her away from her father. But Saiyuri promised she would be back by Christmas. If she's not, I'm going after her and bringing her home whether her father likes it or not. But let's not talk of such extremes yet. We still aren't quite sure on everything. We still aren't even sure of when Drew's brother will successfully kidnap Saiyuri.. for all we know it could be after she returns to Hogwarts.." |
Squeezing her hand gently, Fynn tried to bring her to different thoughts. "Don't think of such gloomy things. We'll do all we can to stop it - now that there's more of us who know, we'll have more of a chance to do so. Actually..." He grinned teasingly at her, "We should really pay attention during class, so that we'll be ready to kick his ass."
|
Leane laughed softly, "Class fails to teach us anything. Why do you think we started stealing books? And don't worry your pretty little head about turning us in, Dumbledore knows," she added teasingly as they stepped out onto the grounds of Hogwarts.
Sighing she shaded her eyes from the sun, "I shouldn't have given you my wand. I forgot my parasol," she said with a laugh as she smiled up at him, "May I borrow it for a moment?" |
"And risk you cursing me? Nah~" Fynn smiled teasingly, holding his hand over her eyes to shield her from the sun. "Why do you need a parasol anyway? Also - you steal books all you want, as long as you return them to the library, I'm not complaining." He hesitated, asking after a moment, "You -do- return them, don't you?"
|
Leane grinned as she spoke, "We didn't until this year. Dumbledore made us return the four books we'd taken to him after Drew and Anna fought with Drew's brother over Saiyuri. But before we gave them back, Anna made replicas of them, which is what we study from now. However, I haven't had the chance to dapple in the new books yet.."
Laughing she smiled up at him, "As for a parasol, you're dating a goth-girl remember? I don't like the sun all that much." |
Waving his wand, he produced a simple, darkblue parasol, leaving it in Leane's hand as he stepped aside a bit. "I forgot that you've actually got a style - and, unlike most wizard kids, just wear whatever." Fynn grinned lightly at her, nodding at her explanation, then mumbling to himself, "So that's where Anna was a couple of nights ago..."
|
"Thank you," Leane said as she laughed and she stuck her tongue out at him teasingly while opening up her parasol, "I take it you haven't paid much attention to me on our Hogsmeade visits have you. But yes, I do have my own style in a way. Not quite goth, but it definitely has a goth-esque air about it. Yet it's not exactly 'peppy' either, though it does have a bit of a soft, doll-like quality to it, or so Saiyuri and Kalli say. You'll have to tell me what your opinion of it is this Saturday."
Smiling, she squeezed Fynn's hand gently, "Saiyuri thought she could handle doing what she does, stealing books. She was right of course, but the deal was; even though Anna was friends with you, we would accept her and treat her kindly, whether she decided to become one of us or not. But, I must say, I have taken a liking to the girl. She's a bit wacky at times, but she reminds me so much of Saiyuri.. especially of when she was younger. Though the real reason I hated her so much, I suppose, was because I thought you were developing a crush on her, looking over her as you did." |
"My friend? A crush?" Fynn laughed merrily at this, shaking his head as he held her hand. "You've got to be kidding me. We're not friends; I gave her a seriously hard time before, and we haven't talked enough to be friends, now. She all but threatened me to be honest with you." He laughed some more, looking at the image of Leane with her parasol. "And if you'd have payed attention to me, you would've realized that I never go to Hogsmeade. Well, I didn't, before. And none of that makes sense to me - goth? Peppy?"
The black-haired youth's eyebrow rose lightly, as he realized what she had said, and asked, "Reminds you of Saiyuri from before? How do you see that?" |
Leane blushed as she tried to avoid his last question, "I figured you were just avoiding me while were there. It's quite easy to do with so many people around, you know. As for goth, gothic attire is generally dark. We wear dark purples, dark blues, blacks, you get the picture. They usually have paler complexions than the average person, and they wear darker make-up. We practically define the words 'gloom' and 'pessimistic'. Peppy is sort of like Saiyuri, bright colors, optimistic even when you're all out of luck and it feels as if nothing will go right. I'm more of a mix, I suppose. My complexion is darker than the average person due to my heritage, I'm not fond of truly heavy make-up, so I tend to slack off in that department, but I wear a lot of dark clothing when not in my uniform."
Sighing, she looked towards the ground as they neared the lake, deciding to answer his question, "As for knowing about Saiyuri, I knew her before her illness, she just doesn't remember me. She believes we met for the first time on the train five years ago. But in reality, we met before the accident. Her memories of me disappeared after the accident that brought on the illness, her memories of almost everyone disappeared. The only few she remembered were Lucia, Drew, and her mother. So, because they were so intent on getting her memories back, I wasn't allowed to play with her anymore even though I lived down the road for a time. Then, eventually we moved and I didn't see her again until the train ride to Hogwarts. So, I watched her grow up from afar. She was just as headstrong and stubborn as Anna is when she was younger. I never knew she had an illness, I just knew she was in an accident that nearly killed her." Smiling, she looked up at Fynn, "Listen to me, going off like that. I must sound ridiculous right now! Being so maternal is quite against my nature. Besides, knowing her now is all I can ask for. I don't mind her not remembering our time together before the accident, I still have the memories after all." Still smiling, she ran ahead, closing the parasol as she ran. As she reached the bank, she set down the parasol and threw up her hair into a ponytail and began undressing. |
Though he'd run after her right away - wanting to talk to her further about this, surprised about what she'd just told him - he couldn't utter a word as she started undressing. Blushing profoundly, Fynn turned her back to him, pointedly looking the other way. "W-what are you doing?"
|
Laughing, she folded her uniform, socks, and cloak and placed them next to the parasol and shoes as she faced him only in her gothic-black-lace under-garments, which had a large silver bat on the left side of the bra as well as on the right side of the panties, "What's it look like? Going for a swim of course! You didn't expect me to swim in my clothes did you!"
Smirking, she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind, stepping close to him as she stood on her toes and placed her chin on his shoulder, "You're going to have to get used to seeing me like this if you plan on marrying me Mr. MacMillan, for soon I'll be Mrs. MacMillan; which means you'll see me in less than this." |
"Something I'm very much looking forward to," Fynn replied somewhat shakily, swallowing hard as he felt the gentle curve of her chest against his back. "But not right away... So stop tempting me, you succubus." He growled lightly at the last sentence, turning around in her embrace and kissing her fiercely.
|
Leane blushed as she kissed him back, a bit breathless by his intensity. Managing to break away, she rested her forehead against his, rubbing her nose gently against his as she spoke breathlessly, "I know, you're right, forgive me.. I just.. can't help it," she muttered as her hands slipped around his waist and clutched his shirt, pulling him in for a passionate kiss before she turned and ran into the water.
|
In seconds, his own outer clothing was shed and Fynn ran after her into the water. "You're such a tease!" He called out before dissapearing under water, his face still red, but cheerful.
|
Leane laughed as she floated on her back, her hair surrounding her head in a dark halo, as she called out, "A tease! You practically told me to go away! Can I help it if I wanted a kiss before I was forced to leave?"
|
"Yes," Fynn stated quite bluntly, giving a boyish grin before his dark head of hair dissapeared under the water. Only seconds later his arms clinged around her floating body, wrapping securely around her waist and pulling her under.
