"Just make sure you don't forget that," he smiled - relieved - as he lifted his head to kiss her lips carefully. "'cause I'm counting on it."

"Never," Leane reassured as she smiled and kissed him softly on the lips, "And I'm counting on you, my beloved Fynn, to talk me out of my non-sense and foolishness each time doubts pop into my head and still love and kiss me even after I make you so bloody angry you're about ready to kill me."

The smile on his lips slowly turned into a boyish grin as he hugged her tightly again. "I can do that."

After kissing his neck, she whispered softly, her lips and breath tickling his skin as she spoke, "Mmm, you better, dearest. For I love the taste and feel of your kisses much more than you realize."

As goosebumps started forming all over his body, Fynn nuzzled her shoulder sweetly, teasing, "Oh, don't worry, I can guess."

Brushing her nose lightly back and forth against his neck, she giggled as she spoke softly, her breath tickling his skin once more, "Mmm, you can guess how much I want you to kiss me then, right?"
Smiling, she gently kissed his neck, her tongue briefly coming into contact with his skin with each kiss as she slowly made her way from the nape of his neck to just below his chin. |
Moaning lightly, he tilted his head down the moment she kissed his chin, catching her lips with his own open mouth. Like that, he teased her with his tongue, suckling her lower lip from time to time as he took his time to kiss her.

Leane laughed as she gave him an eskimo's kiss before kissing his lips tenderly, "Your conjecture is spot on, my love; and your teasing is killing me and completely unfair!"

Glad he got her to laugh, it easily tickled his own amusement, and Fynn laughed lightly as he reached up to her waist and started tickling her. "Then we'd best cool ourselves down again, huh?"

Leane laughed as her upper half leaned into him while her lower half tried to move away. "F-fy-fynn! Th-This isn't f-funny!" she managed to say through her laughter, "Fynn! That's not f-fair! I'd rather you k-k-kiss me than tickle m-me!"

Taking that invitation to heart, Fynn stopped tickling for a moment to place a number of light kisses on her lips. "I'd rather kiss you then tickle you, too, but it's a decent intermezzo, I think." With a boyish smile, he kissed her again, before creating some distance between them by walking in the general direction of the shore.

Leane laughed as she ran after him as best she could in the waist deep water. Smiling as she looped her arms around his left arm once she caught up to him, clasping his hand in hers with her right while lightly stroking his arm playfully with her left-hand fingertips, she rested her head against his shoulder. "Hmm, for you maybe, not much fun for me though. But then again, you kiss me after, so I can't complain too much!" she added teasingly as she looked up at him with a wink.

Giving her an affectionate nudge with his hip, Fynn grinned down at her. "No complaining is a good tactic, I think." Her upturned face was too much of an attraction for him, though, so Fynn indulged both of them by giving her a sweet, deep kiss, before guiding her fully out of the water.

Leane stopped in her tracks, letting her hands fall away from Fynn as he kept walking. Her face becoming sullen, she stared at the ground as she stammered, "J-josh? W-why do I have to face him? He'll.. he'll kill me for running off and skipping like I did.. M-maybe I should avoid the Common Room tonight.. I can drink a potion to make me sick and crash in the Infirmary for the night..."

Coming to a halt, Fynn turned back around to face her, tilting his head to more easily get the water out of his hair with his hands. "Lee... The longer you wait, the more difficult it'll be to make up again...."
Standing back upright again, he took a couple of steps closer towards her, taking one of her hands in his to fully pull her out of the water. "He's going to be relieved to see you again." |
Leane shook her head, her movements causing the braid to fully come out and her hair to simply hang damp and loose over her shoulder, "I don't think so.. besides.. I could never face him.. I may not be in the wrong completely, but it was me who ultimately started everything by keeping secrets from him.. I don't think he could ever forgive me for that.."

"You REALLY want to lose your brother over this?" Fynns' eyebrow shot up sceptically.

Leane blushed as she stammered, "N-n-no.. of course I don't.. but.. but.. he was so furious with me! I can't imagine he's calmed down yet.. and if he has, he'll surely become furious again the second he sees me.."

Sighing lightly, Fynn gave a tug at Leane's hand, pulling her into his arms. "I'm really doubting that. I don't even LIKE Josh and I'm sure he can't be that unreasonable. Why're you so scared of people being mad at you?" This was something he'd been wondering since about five minutes before, and he tilted his head as he quietly looked at her. "It's not like we'll stay mad."

Leane blushed deeper as she avoided eye contact, embarassed by her own response, "But you might.. I've gotten people angry with me who still have yet to forigve me... I hate people angry with me.. I'm afraid they'll stay mad at me and never forgive me.. I mean, it's happened three times, who's to say it won't happen again?"

"No one can," Fynn admitted after a moment. "But that's just the way life goes, you know... not everyone is meant to remain your friend forever. It's those who stick around that are worth keeping. Coming out and offering an apology is the only thing you can do."

Leane sighed, "They weren't friends.. they were family.. much worse than if they were friends.. but in any case.. I suppose you're right.. but just know I'm not going to like this one bit!" Sighing as she continued fretting while she grabbed her wand, quickly drying herself, Fynn's now damp clothes, and her own clothes before tossing her wand to Fynn and getting dressed, "Make sure you keep that until tomorrow, possibly even longer. Who knows what'll happen when I get back.."
Pressing her hands to her stomache as it started gurgling softly, she blushed, "First things first, I'm hungry. Once I eat, I'll find Josh, I promise." Looking over at the almost set sun she groaned, "By the time we get back, dinner will be over.. Got any ideas on how to get dinner without seeming obvious to the whole school we weren't there?" |
"I think we'll make it in time if we run," he grinned, taking her hand in his and placing a light kiss on it, before pulling her along in a light run towards the castle. "And if not - we'll figure something out."

Leane laughed as she pulled him to a stop, pointing behind her as she spoke, "Um, dearest? What about drying and getting dresssed first? And leaving your wand for others to take? Not the greatest idea, love," she added teasingly with a grin.

Sticking out his tongue - not ready to admit that he completely forgot about it all - he turned around to face her. "Accio," he ordered Leane's wand, pointing at the small pile of clothes a little ways off. Surprisingly, it reacted right away, the heap of fabric zooming over to the couple immediatly.
Giving a sheepish grin, Fynn stepped into his pants, offering, "Honest mistake?" ---- Back in the castle, dinner had only just started, the tables being filled with various courses for the students to take. Sitting amongst the Gryffindors was Anna - sitting at the correct table for once, after receiving a chiding from Professor McGonagall - happily entertaining Katie by displaying the transfiguration spell she'd learned that day; changing her tea cup to everything the small girl could come up with (though when Katies' demands became weirder, hybrids such as a kettle-turtle were created). |
