Leane laughed as she rolled her eyes and teased, "Of course it was, Fynn. Though now that I think of it," she continued as she stepped closer to him and clasped her hands around his waist, "maybe I shouldn't have told you. It would have been a sight walking into the Great Hall like this, don't you think?"
Grinning, Leane placed a sweet, gentle kiss on his lips before releasing him so that he could continue to dress, "Besides, dearest, we could have always escaped to the Room of Requirements for dinner." 'That way I'm sure of not seeing Josh too soon,' she added in her thoughts. -------- Kalli sighed as she picked at her food, wondering why Josh hadn't -at least- come down for dinner. Drew, sitting next to Kalli, began comfortingly stroking her back, "Kal, it'll be okay, they'll make up soon enough and then Josh'll be here and be a lot happier and not so distant. Just give them time. You have to admit, Leane's secret was a pretty big shock for Josh; he's used to them being completely open with each other. To find out that she's been keeping this from him for five years, it hurt him." Liam nodded as he took another bite, wishing Anna were over at the Ravvie table with them, "He's righ' ye know, Josh'll be just fine once Lee gets her arse over 'ere 'n' talks t' the lad." Kalli nodded, "I know.. I just.. I hate seeing him like this.." Drew sighed, "I know, Kal, we do too." |
"Tempting," he whispered against her lips, kissing her sweetly before starting to put on his clothes. "But you're not getting out of talking with Josh." Fynns' eyebrow was quirked up as he looked at her, about 95 percent sure that this was what she'd had in mind.

Leane forced a laugh and tried to act as if that wasn't the very thought she had been thinking, though the deep blush that now filled her cheeks and the slight stammer in her voice told otherwise, "Heh-heh, I-I wasn't thinking about doing such a th-thing I swear!"

With a warm, indulgent smile, Fynn caressed her cheek. "I'm sure you were thinking about no such thing." His hand slipped down her face to her neck, over her shoulder, until his fingers folded over hers. "Let's go eat - give you some more courage, and then I'll keep holding your hand all the way to your common room, if you'd like."

Leane's blush deepened as she looked up into Fynn's eyes, "You make me seem so childish.. I know I shouldn't be this nervous and frightened.. I mean, it's Josh for heaven's sake! But.. with our tempers... I'm just afraid we'll.. and then I'll lose... I just don't..."
Sighing, she clasped her hands behind his back, resting her cheek on his chest as she softly spoke, "I'm being terribly stupid aren't I.." |
Patting her head calmly, Fynn admitted dryly, "Maybe a bit." With a light push of his hand against her lower back, he urged her onward, walking backwards himself as to not break away from her embrace. "You just have to consider that there's no way Phillips would want to do without you. You're both looking to consile. A further rupture is highly unlikely."
--- Munching slowly on her pasta, Anna's eyes continued to travel over to Ravenclaw table, a bit annoyed that she had to do without the pleasure of the groups' company - though at the same time, adamant to make friends within her own house. After all, Saiyuri's group were the only people who sat at a different table then their original houses - and they were treated as somewhat paria's because of it. Logically, Anna knew that there would be a slim chance of her meeting any great best friends at the school, but at the same time, she didn't want to risk it. 'After all,' the brunette thought to herself as her eyes, once more, travelled over to the group (and resting on Liam), 'I told them that doing the test of courage thing wouldn't mean that I'd befriend them...' |
Leane sighed as she looked up at him, slowly following him, "You better be right, Fynn. If we fight again, I blame you and you'll have to listen to me all night about it. I'll force someone from Gryffindor to either let me in or drag you out. I may not have my wand, but I can always borrow someone's and threaten the Gryffie; they'd never know the difference."
----------------- Kalli groaned as she threw her fork down, "Ugh! I can't take this anymore! Where the hell -is- that girl?! I'm gonna kill her if she doesn't come back tonight!" Drew laughed, "Come now, Kal, don't be so harsh! Lee's just afraid they'll fight again!" Liam nodded, "Aye, she'll talk to 'im, jus' have confidence in 'er." As he gave Kalli a reassuring smile, his eyes drifted over and lockd with Anna's. Grinning his boyish smile, he gave a small wave. |
Laughing out loud at her threat - think it something typically Leane - Fynn nodded, "It's a deal. You can harrass me all night, every night, anyway." Again he locked hands with her, and with an encouraging smile, started running up the hill towards the castle, pulling her along. " Now come on, I'm starving!"
----- In an instant, Anna's usually pale face shifted into a luminescent pink, her smile radiant as she gave a three-fingered wave back. After a short look around - to assure her no one was watching her - she added a little kiss to it, winking flirtily. |
Leane laughed as she ran along after him, "I'll hold you to it!"
Grinning, she let go of his hand and darted past him, calling behind her teasingly, "Race ya! I bet I'll make it there faster than you with loads of time to eat before you even walk through the doors!" ---------------- A slight blush crept into Liam's tanned cheeks as he winked back and laughed. His "random" laughter catching the attention of Kalli and Drew, they two looked over at him and then followed his gaze to where Anna was sitting and laughed as they gave a wave. |
Not one usually interested in exercise of any kind, Fynn -was- playful enough to take on the bet, and immediatly shifted into a higher gear, racing after her without trying to catch up. "Forget it - you've got a head start!"
---- Kalli and Drew were graced with a warm, friendly smile and a nod of her head in greeting. After a moment, she wrote a large 'L' in the air with her finger, adding a question mark, and a confused tilt of her head. |
Leane laughed as she stuck her tongue out behind her and winked, "Lame excuse! You could catch up if you tried! But then again," she added with a smirk as she faced forward again, "I could be giving you too much credit!"
------- All three shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads, a blank look on their faces. Kalli drew a "J = CR" in the air and pointed out the door before writing "L + F = ?" in the air. Little did they all know, Leane and Fynn were getting closer to the Castle steps as they raced each other towards the Castle. |
"Oh, undoubtedly so," Fynn called back, grinning as he upped his speed just a tad, trying his best to avoid the protruding stones on his way up. "But why would I try when I have such a lovely view from here?"
---- Shrugging in reply, Anna glanced over to the door, wondering what was keeping them. |
Leane rolled her eyes and skidded to a halt as she turned around, placing her hands on her hips as she caught her breath and looked back at the advancing Fynn, "Oh really? Maybe I should just make you carry me then! Then you won't be able to have that lovely view," she added with a laugh as she grinned.
"Besides, we don't want a repeat of the lake do we?" she asked as she teasingly stuck her tongue out. |
Coming to a halt in front of her, Fynns' eyes gleamed dangerously as he quirked an eyebrow up. "We don't? What a shame." Leaning over, he caught Leane's tongue between his lips in a brief kiss, before walking past her towards the entrance of the castle, his hands leasurely stuffed into the pockets of his robe.

Leane glared at him teasingly as he passed by her before running up to him. Slipping her hands into his robe pockets from behind and clasping onto his hands as she walked behind him on her tippy toes, her chin resting on his shoulder as they walked, she whispered teasingly in his ear, "Hmm, I wouldn't be against it, but wouldn't you be against it, love? It was your idea to plunge into the lake, after all."
Playfully, she kissed his cheek before nibbling his ear lobe a bit. After sucking on it a tad after nibbling it, she laughed softly as she rested her chin back onto his shoulder and they entered the Castle. |
His arm automatically snaked around her waist, pulling their hips together as they walked into the common room together. With a light smile down at her, Fynn whispered, "I'd rather ravish you on a bed, first, then the shore of a lake."

Leane blushed as she kissed his lips gently before looking into his eyes and whispering against his lips, "Hmm, you'd better not tempt me, 'cause that can be arranged, Fynn."

"I know," he smiled back, walking towards the open doors of the Great Hall with her in his arm. "Which is why I just have to make sure to never be alone with you in a room with a bed, from now on."

Leane laughed as she bumped his hip with hers, "Tease!"
Biting her lower lip as she scanned over the Ravvie table, looking for Josh, she breathed a sigh of relief. "He's not here," she thought out loud. Realizing she had spoke out loud, she bit her lower lip again and tried to cover her tracks, "I mean, where are you sitting? It looks like Anna's sitting at the Gryffie table for some reason, but the others are at the Ravvie table." -------------- Kalli spotting Leane in the doorway, pointed them out to Anna as she started to get up from her seat. Drew, noticing Kalli preparing to stand, quickly put his hand on her shoulder and gently pushed her back into her seat, "Not now, wait." ------------- Leane, noticing Kalli's movements, bit her lower lip and squeezed Fynn's hand, "I..I'm thinking I should stay away from the Ravvie table.. Kal looks like she's going to split her seams when she talks to me..." |
His eyes travelling from the Ravenclaw table to the Gryffindor one, Fynn gave a light shrug. "Since I'm a prefect I know I'm supposed to be sitting at the Gryffindor table, but..." Looking down at her, he spoke softly, "Don't be afraid of your friends, Lee. This is no one's business but yours and mine. If Kalli blows up at you, it's her own problem."

Leane shook her head, still eyeing Kalli and squeezing Fynn's hand while biting her lower lip nervously in-between statements, "I"m a Prefect, I don't sit at my table, they don't mind. But if you'd rather sit at the Gryffie table, you can. I'll be okay.. honest.. And besides, I'm not afraid of anyone but Kal.. Kal has every right to be angry with me... I hurt Josh, which caused him to act this way, and it's probably worrying Kal to death.."

"I'm actually pretty sure your fellow Slytherins don't like it," Fynn smiled lightly, nodding at a lot of her house-mates who were looking at them in the door way. With a light sigh, he pushed against her lower back, guiding her towards her group of friends. "But I guess it can't be helped. You shouldn't be scared of Kalli, even if she's worried, and lashes out at you because of it."

Biting her black nail as they neared the table, she stuck by Fynn's side like glue, not even noticing the stares they were getting nor hearing the whispers traveling down the tables about them.
Still biting her nail as she took a seat next to Liam she looked down at her plate. Drew smiled at Leane, "Hey Lee, how are you?" Kalli immediately began her "interrogation", "Have you seen Josh? Have you talked it all out yet? Hi Fynn." Leane shook her head, "No.. I haven't seen him yet.. I was hoping he'd be here.. I take it he's in the Common Room?" Kalli nodded, "Been there all day..." Leane took Kalli's hand in hers as she spoke, "I promise, I'll talk to him after dinner. You don't need to worry, he'll be his usually self by Saturday.. I hope..," she added as an after thought a she let go of Kalli's hand. Kalli nodded, "I know.. I'm just worried... He's been really out of it.. I think he really regrets hurting you Lee.." Liam smiled as he tucked Leane's hair behind her ear and kissed the top of her head as he gave her a hug, "Don' worry, love, everythin'll be fine. Josh's had time t' cool down' 'n' think about how horrible 'e overreacted abou' you 'n' Fynn 'ere. Just get yer arse in gear 'n' talk t' 'im t'night, alright?" Leane sighed as she bit her lower lip while she nodded, "Fynn's been telling me that all day..." Drew laughed, "He's right, you know. You should listen to him for once!" |
"That's what I keep telling her," Fynn grinned lightly, not really looking at anyone and rather filling his own plate and Leane's with various foods stuffs - apparently adamant to get her to eat something. "But you know, she's about as stubborn as a mule, so I can do nothing more then keep repeating the same things."
Teasingly, the black-haired boy winked at Leane, patting her knee under the table with the meaning, 'You were worrying over nothing'. |
Drew laughed as he whispered as an aside to Fynn, "Now you know what we've had to deal with since we've met her!"
Leane sighed as she propped her head up with her fist resting on her cheek, her elbow on the table beside her plate, "Can I help it if I thought Kal was going to rip my head off for fighting with Josh? She does every other time it's my fault!" Drew laughed, "Your fault? Leane, it's anything -but- your fault. It's Josh's for reacting as he did, we all know that." Kalli laughed as well as she smiled at Leane, "And of course I'm not angry with you Lee! I'm angry with Josh for acting as he did, and I'm worry about him not getting over this soon, but there's no way I could be angry with you! You followed your heart, didn't conform to everyone's opinion; nothing to be angry over, it's very admirable." Liam smiled and he began eating his food, "Where's all this praise comin' from?" Leane blushed, "Really Kal..." Kalli winked at Leane, "Well, if I don't tell it to your face, who in this school will?" Popping a bit of her roll into her mouth, Kalli looked over at Fynn, "So where'd you and Lee take off to? We didn't see you in class all day. Josh was getting worried he'd upset Lee beyond repair!" |
